It has been said on here many times re gulf in quality between lower leagues and prem.
The team that lost to Crewe had prob 7 players believed good enough for first team.
It's a bit of a worry.

Aus, no matter what league a team is in, when a low block formation is deployed, or parking the bus if you like, if it’s done well is extremely difficult to break down to get any goal scoring opportunities.
It’s an out of possession tactic used quite successfully by certain coaches, like Dyche.
I didn’t watch the game but I imagine Crewe probably only made one or two counter presses on our defense.
Teams will do this against our geggen-press. Crewe played for the 0-0 draw in hope that they could. beat our team in a penalty shootout and for them it worked.
It makes for a very boring spectacle for the fans but it is a part of football tactics.
A lot of patience is required to break down a low block, I imagine we didn’t capitalize on the few opportunities we had on goal.

I get that teams park the bus but I also think in a majority of cases the pressing team should find a way through.
According to the player ratings. We didn’t play that well the entire game.
Was a plan b used by coach?
