Our u21s now have 3 games before the first team return to action, at home to Saints on Friday, away at Crewe next Tuesday then at home v Stoke on Friday 30th. The first two could provide opportunities for a few of the returning players and Gnonto to get a bit of a run out or two. I guess some of the likely subs in the Villa game could even get a few minutes in the Stoke game, which is just 2 days earlier.

Possibly a behind closed doors friendly. Other clubs seemingly are big on it but bielsa always preferred his murder ball over matches.

Bielsa used to play u21s against first team quite alot. We could certainly have a few of those games.

You may have seen the news article on the Club website stating that Bamford, Coops, Ayling and Firpo will all get some minutes on Friday v Saints.
