Orta seems to focus on one player who doesn't want to come to ER, and it goes on for weeks, aka De Paul and CDK. AS I have said before, Cornet and Taylor, two for the price of one and change to spare.

Been thinking a out some of the players who got relegated from the Prem and kinda wish we had bought Cucho Hernandez. Emmanuel Drnnis would also be a very good purchase for us. 10 goals and 6 assists last season in a woeful Watford side. Supposedly available for £20m.

Yeah he's in the MLS now, but would've loved if we had put an offer in early in the window. Went for only 8m. Cracking player. Has already scored 4 in 4 for Colombus.
According to one report Isco has signed a pre-contract agreement with Sevilla. Would be a real coup if we did actually get someone of his calibre.
Would take Mata on a 1 year deal. Not really interested in Cavani.
I do like Dembele. Seko Fofana would be an unreal purchase for us, too. Was arguably the best player in Ligue 1 last season.
Has anyone watched Umar Sadiq from Almeria? He's piqued my interest. 25 year old Nigeria International. Scored 19 and 12 assists in 38 games last season. He's a clinical finisher, great target man, strong runner with the ball with deceptive pace for a big lad. He's 6'4 and would definitely add something to our team/ squad.

Baz - I think Orta spends most of the year crying over missed targets, fabricating myths about what a great talent scout he is and counting his millions. Oh, and watching a lot of young boys that he would like to get his hands on - for the youth team of course.

I very much doubt Bictor is “sleeping”, and I’m sure he punched a few things, and thrown a few things having a mini breakdown due to CdK’s small mindedness. He will now be refocusing, and doing everything possible to get the best possible player for the club, as he was trying to with the Dik from Brugge.
I know everyone is allowed opinions, but berating someone for not doing doing their job, which he has been all summer, clearly, without watching him every minute of the day, is a bit flawed.

Sweaty - as I’ve said before, it was always going to be quiet in terms of signing announcements for the two weeks Marsch and the squad were in Oz, but yes, this last week is frustrating. However, Orta and his team will have been very busy throughout the three weeks, working on other options at CF (while still hoping CDK saga might fall our way) and at LB - and maybe other positions too - as the Club has always been clear that it is open to making opportunistic signings of players they had not expected to be on the market yet. Much of their activity will be undertaken below the media radar media, so as to not alert rival clubs to our possible targets - so do not assume nothing is happening just because you’ve not seen some clickbait journo write about it - and conversely do not assume we’re in for some random player who once crossed paths with Orta or Marsch just because a story is all across the clickosphere.

Totally clueless! Additionally, I’m sure if he was just sat on his arse playing Solitaire or minesweeper, then he would be brutally sacked immediately, just like the rest of us plebs! The guy is a mad hatter, but he is clearly VERY passionate about his job and our club, and I for one (maybe only one of very few) like the guy!

Clu not sure Marsch and the team being away in Aus for 2 weeks is a valid reason for 'it was always going to be quiet in terms of signing announcements. " . this week too as well then Clu ; going into an EPL match with Wolves I just one weeks time without a recognised LB is foolhardy
