Decent first half against Villa, Roca looks to be a find.
A little disjointed up top but that will come as the lads get to know each other etc.
meslier! Wow great penalty save and the rebound then a great save from Watkins when through 1 on 1.
Their keeper has had a few decent saves too.
Villa probably just shading it but we look decent in spells and look better defensively esp at set pieces.

Spot on with that assessment for me. Just a bit disappointing in the final third.

To me it shows how far we are from competing. Desperately need a LB and a leader at CB. Don’t really see what our tactics are either, no clear plan. I know it’s pre-season so there’s time to get things sorted.
Also, ref is a clown.
