De ketlaere is on 14k a week at Brugge and around 34 million value I think we could afford him but if Milan and spurs are looking at him then I think it's going to be hard to turn down CL football.

Spurs would be a bad move for him, with their front 3 it would be difficult to get much game time.
Milan, we’ll they seem to after everyone we apparently are.
Still wouldn’t be sure the CDK rumours aren’t just smoke n mirrors, I mean this lad is one of the top prospects in Europe so realistically why would he seriously consider coming to us.

If he did come we would likely have to pay way more than 14k per week. We may be able to offer more gane time than the others otherwise it may be a tough sell.

Reports in Italy suggest that an attacking midfielder is AC Milan’s no. 1 priority this summer, with CDK supposedly their sole target for that position - with Hakim Ziyech said to be a target as a winger, though he’s actually played more often AM to date. It is suggested that Club Brugge’s asking price is higher than AC Milan can afford at the moment.
It will certainly be a hard sell to convince the lad to come here, and may slightly depend on the position he sees himself developing within. If he wants to play primarily as a striker, we may just have a faint chance, as Orta and Marsch apparently envisage him in a second striker or false 9 role - and would probably pitch that to him if given the chance - whereas AC want him as an AM.
CDK has previously suggested that he sees the Prem as the best league in terms of challenge and development, but of course Leicester continue to have an interest in him too, though thankfully they can’t offer European football either next season.
Apparently CDK is very keen that wherever he goes his girlfriend will be able to continue her dental studies ‘in a good way’. Of course Leeds Uni has a very good dental school - apparently ranked 91 in the world this year. Unfortunately, Milan ranks 26th - though that Uni sucks comparatively overall - and I’m guessing both CDK and his girlfriend will both have reasonable English but maybe not so strong on Italian.
Apparently his current teammate Simon Mignolet may have put him off going to the Saudi humbugs, having advised him there’s not much to do in Newcastle.
