Would you be surprised to know that the Spanish daily newspaper SPORT - which was widely quoted a couple of weeks ago as ‘reporting’ that Raphinha had handed in a transfer request - and is today being again quoted as ‘reporting’ that Leeds have dropped the asking price, Raphinha will forgo some sell on percentage etc to help the price go down further - is based in Barcelona. Not only that, but it identifies itself ideologically as the newspaper of supporters of FC Barcelona - and has the motto ‘Sempre amb al Barca’ which means always with Barca.
Maybe the clickbait journos who gleefully quote this rubbish don’t realise SPORThas a totally proBarca editorial agenda - or perhaps they do and are happy to read this propaganda in the hope that it will help cause problems at Leeds.
