I would think trying to recoup some if not all of the money paid would help to swell the transfer pot. James hasn't impressed even when playing in his preferred position. He didn't fit the bill at Man U. and seems a player who saves his best for playing for his country. We have wingers although it looks odds on we will lose Raphinia. we have Harrison and Summerville both are better for the team than James in my opinion. We certainly looked better when he wasn't on the pitch against Brentford.

Hess, all the talk is that Jesse doesn’t want wingers but wants attacking midfielders ala Aaronson .
For me I’d sign Aaronson and minamino and also try get de Paul on a loan to buy from athletico if possible.

Ffs Whitey, we’ve only just secured our place in the Prem - Villa had no such concerns so we’re in a better position to conclude the transfer immediately the season ended. All indications are that Aaronson will sign for us shortly - and if so, that won’t be much after Villa’s first signing.

Clueless you seem to forget the past windows came and went without signing let’s not waste time get the job done it will som come round to pre-season training best to get at the start of that and we will need 5 or six.
