I know it's early days and should not judge so early but I'm going to anyway.
Marshy not good enough.
Although we have let less goals in our performances have been worse.
There is absolute no game plan except kick em.
The players don't seem to know where they should be or what they should be doing.
We have zero goal threat so unless we get an own goal winning games is difficult.
He has players all over the place when he has players all he it youngsters that can play that position.
I have my doubts if he is even good enough for the championship.
If 49ers had anything to do with him coming then it seriously concerns me they even know what they are doing.
We need to change manager.
The line up against a poor Chelsea was atrocious.
As somebody on here said. Philips didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing.

I honestly believe he needs 2-3 windows Aus before we cast him .

Be honest now Klipp couldn't Roberts to improve or Dan to score regularly.

We as fans also need to be realistic in our aspirations . No top manager would come near us, as we currently stand .

At least we know Jesse knows the game so let's give him a chance to design his own squad 1st.

According to the Athletic at the time
Orta watched over 40 clips of different managers, and after doing the groundwork, he decided Marsch was the standout candidate.

A poor Chelsea? Not sure about that Aus?

13 May 2022 17:29:24
We had a top manager who worked miracles with substandard players. We binned him. Now I don't know what we have. Too early to judge certainly and may come good but looking 100% like the wrong decision for time that it was made. Knee jerk response for sure and like a lot of other decisions and stories coming out of the club it was done for the wrong reasons - i. e. to cover up the boards incompetence and poor decision making rather than addressing the real problem which is the lack of quality in the squad.

13 May 2022 18:06:00
The fact that he is American, with American money on the board, may well have influenced the decision?

Nailed it Alf, spot on pal.

13 May 2022 20:04:19
100% Alf, an excellent summary and my thoughts entirely.

100% not nailed it for me Alf, but that’s called opinions. Can’t really conclude on whether March was the right answer but I am 100% convinced sticking with Bielsa was the wrong answer. He was wonderful in his time but anybody who watched Leeds in that last 5 or 6 games could see the play was shot to pieces. Watching Tottenham destroy the man for man marking by pulling defenders out of position and then rolling through the holes was the final straw for me. Love Marcelo, legend for what he did, but no doubt in my mind we would be relegated with him in charge. Whether March (or anybody with this st of players) would fare any better I am not sure but I don’t think we should idolise Bielsa when he fared appallingly throughout the season - playing three wingers, no centre forward ayling at centre back where’s Dramah when you need him etc etc.

Top class spot on post Matt.

Bielsa was taking Leeds down, but I am equally dismayed by his replacement the useless JM.

13 May 2022 23:48:13
And Radz doesn’t even get a mention.
It’s bad enough when you have just two key players out of the squad with long term injuries such as Bam and KP, but we’ve had up to six out at the same time. With a small squad Bielsa’s options were severely limited, inexperienced youth players are not going to save the day, only in you dreams.
Bielsa may have preferred a small squad but Radz is the boss, he chooses how many squad players he wants in his football team.
Gross negligence of the highest order then blame it on the best thing that happened to Leeds United in about three decades.
Unforgivable.

Baz
U got tonights lottery numbers please,
No 1 knows whether Bielsa would of taken us down or not, but he has gone and we have who we have, and we are were we are, and if we go down so be it, heartbreaking yes but reality.
This chairman is/ was always trying to do things on the cheap,
Remember Bielsa 1st season, mid Jan we lost at QPR and everyone said we need 1 or 2 players for the promotion push, Radz stuck and we slipped into playoffs, same again this season, finished 9th (over achieved) board thought we have a mid table team, wrong, but January was a disgrace, when they knew we had players injured and still no investment
70% Radz fault, orta too and yes Bielsa for his stubbornness, and even the players need to look at themselves.
Borenly to get thumped tomorrow, we nick a point
All IMO.

14 May 2022 09:45:12
Yes OP and Richie. PR Radz definitely at the top of the culpability blame list

Richie; Lottery numbers on their way

Yes Leeds possibly may pick up a point against Brighton and yes Spuds will beat Burnley BUT the problem is that Burnley will definitely beat the Saudi Barcodes last game of season so LUFC will need 4 points ; say hi to the EFL.
