Berm, don't think anyone really doesn't see that Bamford hasn't got talent or isn't a good player. I think in my opinion that he just needs to be more clinical at times with the chances. It's more that we are chasing promotion and the teams around us seem to have a striker that scores for fun but our team doesnt. I think that the two goals that Bamford scored last night will hopefully give him a bit more confidence.

Not doubting Bamfords ability or talent i have always rated him but we do need him on the scoresheet every game now. He came to the team late and a lot of us were hoping he would come out guns blazing but he did not. let's hope that double gives him the confidence to let rip. That first goal is what he is all about. Certainly i was thinking right player at the wrong time but he may kick on now.

I know right? I mean 8 goals in 7 starts is a pathetic return isn't it he should have at least 40 so far this season plus he has had another 4 games from the bench so that should be, what, another 10?
if he can just get a bit more consistency he will be amazing but he seems to be more of a 'streak' player and do well for a handful of games then not score for a few. well, hopefully this will be the start of a streak that will last until the end of the season.

Or you could say he has had 20 appearances in the white shirt and scored 9 goals, you can do anything with stats. Fact is imo he is a top striker in this division and we need him to carry on where he left off against Preston.

year we went down i put 50 quid on rickets to be top scorer in the league. think odds were 100-1 should of been 5000,0000000 he was not our best.
