Normally I'm really pleased when Leeds players get called up for International squads, but I don't feel very normal at the moment! Glad Spain doesn't need Hernadez but wouldn't mind a few of the others sitting out these games and Paddy O Bamford questioning his Irish heritage for a few more weeks. I don't know about the players but I need a break!

Don t want to be negative after last night's result, but how does Roberts get a call up, and the pundits were saying what a brilliant game he was having last night, I think I'm missing something! He's had one excellent game via his old employers. Having watched the 23s i'd give Kun or Bogusz ago in his place.
I'm just worried against blunts on Saturday he'll cost us. Hope I'm wrong.

Yes its nice to have international players in your squad but when they have to play, especially at this end of season. its just another worry i can live without.

I don’t think any of the players, apart from Pablo, hit the heady heights and there were a few passes and moves that didn’t come off. The danger always is that you see a 3-0 win as a great performance and a 0-1 loss against QPR as a crap one. Pablo makes an enormous difference, if his magic comes off, he creates or scores, if it doesn’t we find it harder. Sheffield will be at him from the start on Saturday, he should wear American football style protection on his legs, because they will get some attention! Referee needs to be alert and strict at the beginning of the game.
The position Roberts plays means that his errors stand out, and when you lose the ball in that position it can look awful and cause real problems, the same with Saiz. I thought he had an ok game.
I like Kun and Bogusz, but Bielsa picking them to play in that position before the end of the season! Just not in his DNA.

Spot on Spanish. I too would be sorely tempted to play Bogurz or Kun or even McCalmont. I cannot see them as being a drop down from Roberts but as you say It's just not the Bielsa way.

Al is that about Ireland, if so great news! Bamford looked a little tired towards the end of the game! I did think he had a good game for his movement and effort but slightly amusing that his most effective contribution was when he stepped over the ball rather than when he actually tried to hit it goal bound himself! But it was a stunningly beautiful step over!

roberts was not amazing but great energy and pace, always driving forward always happy and availible to take the ball. I think he is very good player.

I'm sure that I read somewhere that his first meeting with the Ireland squad is sometime in June Spanish. And, although I'm pleased that super duper Cooper hasn't been called up for Scotland, I don't understand the thinking behind it from the Scottish manager, I mean, Mulgrew or Cooper? no contest really 🙂.
