Spaniard He can but will need a run of games before he's match tight. Doubt we can afford to carry him as a passenger for 4 or 5 games to make that happen. Long-term he could do with a gruelling pre-season and remain injury free of course. I still wish to see us acquire him permanently. £5m should do the trick.

George, good point. Bielsa appears not to be convinced that he is ready now and he has Roberts ahead of him now and Roofe again soon. I wonder if Bielsa has seen enough to want him. Carlos might have an input on this one as well, having experienced his involvement with the under 23s. The lad still has a few years left on his Chelsea career ntract so he might sit it out and see what comes up or perhaps another loan?

George. Dammit. I agree. Would be a great signing permanently. Really think he will be class in time, but doubt he’s going to get any game time for Chelski. Same goes for Harrison IMO.

Think Brown will be a great buy and has bags of talent. Saying that i doubt he will make the starting 11 this season. Not sure Bielsa will risk it, he can be a bit selfish with the ball and is a laid back kind of player. Guessing he will get a run out at some point but hard to say who you would drop for him to start.

I would be concerned about his injury record particularly in recent seasons.

I think even as a Sub he can make a significant contribution for us.

At the start of the season the 10 seemed an area of risk and little cover where we were very dependent on Saiz. By Christmas he had gone and if Brown was the pre season plan, it hasn’t materialized and we have found ways of coping. Roberts has an opportunity now, if Bamford keeps scoring Roofe is a back up and if we bring in younger pace on the wings then Hernadez can contribute there as well. Then you have Bogusz and the other 23s who have tried that position as more backup. Given Izzies wages and the contract he has with Chelsea not sure that Bielsa will want him enough!

Agree Spanish. and I go further as to say that if we don't go up Izzy will probably be looking for a higher profile club, now that we have rehabilitated him
Mind you, if we do go up (I never count my chickens) I would prefer to see Milner taking up one of the midfield berths and give us proper Premiership experience
Oh, and if Delph wanted a reunion I would be all for that
Oh oh, and after a couple of seasons of Milner-magic couldn't we bring Cook home after he has got up to speed with the Cherries.

Milner is in his early 30s. About the same age as Henandez. Delph a little bit younger. Both playing for teams that are at the top end of Europe, and getting game time
So rather than a fatuous comment just say you don't agree. I can take it. A couple of my close friends think I am daydreaming yet I still stand them a pint on a Friday night.
