Spanish, BIGE, anyone. Just read Phil Hay saying that he thinks that Bielsa may not be convinced by Brown. How does he look for the under 23s? We have waited 2/ 3 of season for him to be fit, he was superb at Huddersfield, Roofe may be out for a while and now Hay is suggesting Bubs might not play him.

Tory, I’ve been posting a bit about Brown. In the last two games Bielsa has chosen Shackleton to come on not Brown. He sees the daily training sessions as well as the under 23 games! He’s not dominated the under 23 games although he has come up with some goals. I don’t know whether it’s his laid back style or that he is still building up his fitness rather than giving his all.
We need him to come on and show us what he can do at Championship level. Bielsa usually seems naturally cautious at bringing people in and changing the team. There is an under 23 game on Friday night . I would imagine Brown won’t feature there .

He is not what you would call an energetic player but his awareness and passing is very good and he can pop up with a goal. Not great in the tackle but when he has the ball he uses it well. Honestly do not think he is giving 100% in U23 games and sure he would be able to pick the pace up in first team. Think he would be good coming off the bench as different to what we have.

I must say in the few times I have seen Brown he has seemed okay but nothing exciting. Hopefully; he is not giving 100% (yet) or his style is just laid back, but whatever it is it does not appear as though he is the saviour that we have all been waiting for. Obviously I hope I am wrong and obviously he will be a usefull addition but as for a goal getter and a goal maker, I am not too sure.

You're right Al but the contra to that is; can you put someone in just to have a look in the hope that they may come good or, at the run in do you need 11 players you know can do a job and ones you can rely on, as every point counts. Is it the time to experiment?
