Need to pick are game up now to get back on top, this will not be easy, MB will have to pick his game up to get the team playing better, needed investment in Januray Radz, just hope this don't come back a bit us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whitey It's all set for Billy Sharp to ruin us emotionally in the playoffs. As for Radz, the story is he apparently trusted an American owner to alter stance of Jenkins. We know how that worked out. I also believe we are going to lose Bielsa sooner than we want.

Everton interested as they On verge off sacking Marco silva! Be shocked to see Beisla go with us in top 2 after all the hard work. ⚽️😱.

{Ed025's Note - i cant see it matty..

Bielsa won’t go somewhere during the season. His methods work most effectively with a full preseason with his squad, both in terms of fitness, tactics and team ethic.

10 Feb 2019 16:02:20
Bielsa is going nowhere.
Not this season anyway!
I've got a feeling he'll get us up, stay one season, keep us up and then retire back to Argentina. Leaving Carlos Corberan to take over.

I'm not so sure lads. Money talks and No Socks No Hair Man lay in wait to do the dirty.

10 Feb 2019 18:19:35
I’m with danum on this 100%. He’s bought into the project, and even in the unlikely event of not going up this season, believe he would stay and give it another shot.

10 Feb 2019 18:35:24
Bielsa is not bothered about money

Only being allowed to work as he wants with no interference.

10 Feb 2019 18:36:57
George I do agree, I do hope that we don’t, but this FA thing will take its toll, I do believe that he would have like exter players in too, let’s hope brightwhite is right and he’s in foe the longhall.

10 Feb 2019 19:36:57
George and Whiteman United in pessimism! How times have changed!

Bright is right, Bielsa won’t go anywhere else mid season, not his style! Not impossible that he walks, but that could be more about any sanctions and Leeds reaction to it.

What happens beyond the summer is a different matter. If we are promoted, will he want to take on the premiership and will he be the right person to keep us up?

If we don’t go up, will he want to stay and go through it all again and depending on the analysis of why we didn’t go up, would we want him to stay and try to go through all of that again!

But none of that matters until the summer, the only thing that matters is getting as many points as possible from the remaining games.

10 Feb 2019 19:43:09
George one day a prediction of yours will come to pass. And I’m pretty sure you’ll gloat about it!

10 Feb 2019 19:52:47
I agree Danum sounds like a hopefully likely scenario but not too sure about the Corberon bit though.

10 Feb 2019 20:00:44
Spaniard You're not paying sufficient attention to the threat posed by the Football League.

10 Feb 2019 20:16:35
Spaniard, sorry mate I have to agree with George, Football League are the devils be aware.

10 Feb 2019 20:26:12
Not sure what you are saying George. If it’s that football league sanctions might make Bielsa walk, then I do think that’s possible, but it’s always possible that Bielsa can walk, that’s his style.

If you’re implying that the football league will deduct us points and that will stop us getting promoted, don’t think that will happen.

Or is it something else I’ve missed?

10 Feb 2019 20:31:02
Corky, I really do get the feeling That Corberan is being groomed as MB’s successor. Lots of time with the first team squad, taking what he learns to the 23’s, and a key position in the match day dugout. Marcelo could be creating our future gem of a manager. It’s the kind of succession planning that leads to long term success.

10 Feb 2019 20:39:05
Whiteman what do you mean? What do you think the football league will do?

10 Feb 2019 21:27:45
I get the impression that MB is the type of man, who if punished, would actually give them the rods, and say “you’re not stopping me. Now hold my pint! ”. He’s already said “This is what I’ve done, this is why I do It, if you don’t like it, then do what you want! ” The EFL will have no sway on his future at all.

Spaniard I have a theory which I won't print. I love my club too much to do that. I'd share it with you personally but the private message feature still eludes this site. The net effect of my theory is that we'll have a new manager by April. I don't want it to happen but Whiteman is again correct (5 consecutive times agreement) the Football League are the incarnate of a fallen angel. I trust them about as much as I could throw them.

11 Feb 2019 02:34:07
Brighty, I posted a while ago that it seemed like Bub was setting up the club properly, although I thought it might have been Pablo to step up but I'll be more than happy if Corberan is our next head coach, hopefully in around another 3 or 4 years :)

11 Feb 2019 07:54:41
George, thanks for the reply, much appreciated and very interested! Bielsa could always walk either due to FL actions or if by Late April there has been a disastrous fall off of results and the tide turns. I just don’t think he would go to another club this year.

Still interested in Whitemans theories!

Re Corberan, I like him very much and I think he has played an important role this year, but it may be that it’s more important to keep him doing that, if he’s happy, than in the number one job. let's see where we are by late April.

11 Feb 2019 15:36:12
Spanishleeds, I don’t know what they will do but you can bet if there is any chance to do us they will, they will fine MB which he may not like, as for players we needed them, we can play keep ball for 90 minutes but seem not to score, and unless I am mistaken that wins games which we haven’t.
