Question? If we get rid of Evans, who would want this job? With Cellino and gfh in control we can't tempt decent players anymore due to our track record? So I'm going to get shot down here but I say, stick with Evans let's have some continuity for once in our lives let him get players in if he can either from lower leagues who want to play or good pro's who know how to get us out of this league because the way we are going we are going to end up being a has been side and that hurts me badly?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

09 Apr 2016 22:33:17
I won't be shooting you down I don't know if Evans is the man to take us up but if we don't give someone a shot and take a gamble we will never find out.

Agree0 Disagree1

09 Apr 2016 22:42:25
I thought I saw Evans possible successor in the crowd watching today's game a certain Dougie Freeman who is presently unemployed and will. come cheap. He fits all the criteria for Cellino to employ him unsuccessful at his last too clubs what more could we ask for.

09 Apr 2016 22:52:16
come on pete, what players what manager would come to leeds, who would want his job. please see post before. BORED BORED BORED BORED BORED. any player/ manager at a lesser team/ no club will come to leeds, same rules apply to any manager. Pearson is very good, if villa or no one else goes for him will he come to leeds. of course he would. would any player playing at a lesser club come to leeds of course they will. what about higher up would ranier or procchicno come to leeds, no but they would go baracalona.

i don't think keeping evans would be worse thing in world but we should aim higher and can get better. these same negitive posts saying the same stuff which logic has answered is starting to really wear me down, maybe it is because I have low standards and accpect mediocore, maybe it is because I am mad, maybe it is due to my love for leeds, maybe it is because I am drunk. maybe it is becuase I'm a londoner. going to stop posting now but carry on drinking and singing.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 23:52:47
Good managers want control of signings and a say in how the club is run i. e. they manage. Of course players and managers would want to come to Leeds from lower divisions as it is a step up but why would players and managers in a higher standard step down for a significantly lower wage. BORED BORED BORED at contradictory statements.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 11:31:19
no notts you are all missing my point, of course we will not get a manager in a higher standdard set up. no club would get a manager in a higher standard set up as players and managers do not step down.

my point is and I am getting really angry about it. leeds fans make posts like we are a one off club. who would come to leeds etc.

we are no different to any other club, we will cherry pick from lower clubs and get picked by higher clubs. Who would come to leeds. answer anyone is a worse position. so any manager from league one or lower or any manager out of work and not being courted by better teams. this is the same for all the football world so why are some bitter and sometimes dillisional leeds fans typing the same old rubbish about who would come to leeds as if leeds is a one off? I do not understand the negivitiy as if leeds is the only club that sack managers or have a powerful and bossy chairman, most clubs in the world have this set up so we are looking at suitable managers and players just like the rest of the world.

so we have had about 100 posts who would come to leeds. like it is some kind of death camp, who would go notts forest, who would go chealsea, who would go man city, who would go to any club. I find this post so so boring it is untrue.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 12:33:46
Berm you are bang on look at blackpool . Bolton and villa .
M C has sacked less than other clubs yet it will be headline when he does let S E go.
His son got headline news for replying to an offensive e-mail ok he to was out of order but don't give it if you can't take it , and gfh held and imprisoned D H without a trial .
If we think Cook taylor would still be at the club if Bates was in charge then I'm afraid I believe not .
We have a good history of buying players from lower lgs as Berm has mentioned, also picking players from the Scottish lg has proven to be fruitful .

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 13:38:31
thanks dog this is all I have been saying, forest as well are another great example. MC's managerial merry go round is not really any different to most clubs yet some leeds fan and media make it sound like we are only club to ever sack a manager.

Yes we are not looking at top managers or players but who really thinks we should be? we are looking at where most clubs in our position should be looking and coming to leeds is not different to coming to any other club, you will do it if you haven't got a better offer.

some people have short memories yet long memories, they forget our relegations, our admin and nearly going out of business yet remember Reive and champs league.

Sad thing is leeds are where we should be and where we should be aiming to be mid-lower championship. This is the state of play and state of the club, this is not mc's fault and give it time.

Leeds where nearly not a club and lots of prem and big clubs are worse off than us, look at sheff utd, wigan, blackpool, Villa soon I reckon, bradford. all have been in prem since us and all are doing worse.

Things at leeds are not that bad and we have no right complaining IMO but the negitive people will ingore this and put same old boring rubbish posts, after all if you just won the world cup would you come to leeds?

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 15:36:53
think part of the problem is, that we Leeds were a massive club but so were others these days clubs are going up and down you would not expect Newcastle springs to mind who would put them to go down but chances are they will .
I don't think M C should be banned for the reasons given, the media seem to focus on him in negative terms they just can't wait.
I'm still on the fence with him but we have to except as fans that he walked into a mess .
I think his problem is with people as he works so hard he thinks everybody should do as he, unfortunately it does not work like that .
At the end of the day I pay the gas bill so I will choose who provides the gas!
All these protests have been wrong and instead we should lobby the F L to ban GFH and make them sell the stake they own, just my opinion .

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 19:37:53
agree 100% let mc run club without GFH and things will be better all this hate towards MC is very short sighted and misguided IMO.

I totally agree with Wex

Crikey boys!
Who needs other fans having a dig when we can assess losing away at top of the league Burnley as some of the posts have?

Not sure expectations are realistic anymore BUT OF COURSE I respect everyone's views just frustrates me a little when we do not start with the fact that we totally outplayed the likely winners of this league.

Of course I also want better players in the team but any team we put out us OUR team it's LEEDS.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

09 Apr 2016 21:11:40
I think we need to give a manager time to bring in his own players. at the moment we have a mixture of players brought in by a variety of managers and if we as fans keep calling for management to be sacked we will never build a coherent team.

Agree3 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 20:13:01
I have replayed the game a couple of times and I agree with Whelan and Popey it was definitely Belusci's fault for Burnley's goal. He was also at fault for our failure to score. It had nothing at all to do with Wood being our worst striker since Billy Payntor managed to play a full game without realising he had put both feet into one leg of his shorts.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Apr 2016 21:54:19
ok are you bell or do you have a man crush? we were far more solid today, bamba while still not great looks far better next to cooper than bell, cooper was our best player, part for playing well, part for making bamba better but mainly for not being bell.

huddesfield not as good as burley they score 4
brighton not as good as burley they score 4
rotherham beat us, qpr score. burley kept to 1 goal. no bell

i do not find this a shock in any way

also SE comments of his head are not right. I first thought sell bell, then I thought sack bell now after hearing his head ain't right. shoot bell as today shown we are far better when he is sat on bench.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2016 06:37:12
Just what is your obsession with Belusci, he's. Are you his agent? We didn't miss him yesterday.

I dnt want to tingle on our parade for next season but? Does anyone really think it's going to be any diffrent from this one? If anything and we lose Evans we will have a new manager with new ideas and no money to spend on new players and if we did spend and change a lot it will take another season for them to gel then another wasted season then new manager . Etc etc my optimism is fading fast after the last three years! Lol.

Pete
Exactly hence why I have repeatedly called this summer last chance saloon. Attendances will dwindle, youth products will sign for other teams and established young stars will depart for top half of table PL clubs. We own no assets and with GFH still a shareholder it would to me signal the end of the club as a force of any kind.

Agree3 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 19:59:13
It's going to be another season of building a new team and being in a transitional period, I can see it coming now. Each season I wish for stability to build on for future seasons. I don't expect miracles, just a team that plays with passion and pride for the famous white shirt.
My optimism is fading fast after the past 15 years or so.

09 Apr 2016 21:42:12
Evans needs to see what we all see, wood is a 1 goal in 5 chance man . Antenucci must start, whether wood starts or not . Think Leicester mugged us for 3 million. Stop persisting with him man . He has a touch as far as I can kick it.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 21:43:45
Agree Lucas and George I said to bw the other day that perhaps we would of been better going down, re grouping with youth and passion and become United again! As we did under wise and then Larry at least we enjoyed our football and felt we were a club against the world? Now I dnt see what we are anymore?

Agree0 Disagree3

09 Apr 2016 21:58:23
you all say stability another season the same as this would be stability. no admin. no relegation. no real crisis. if next season is the same as this it will be better than what recent history would dictate.

leeds has been going since 1919, last chance saloon is the season we go bust every other season is another season, good or bad. we sold youth products under risdale, we sold youth products under bates. if we sell youth under MC so be it will we find youth again.

some people need to remember we nearly lost our club. I would rather a poor leeds than a great other team. as long as we are playing I for one will be singing MOT even if we do finish bottom half of champ. many teams in country are in a worse place and it could well of been us.

chins up.

Today we missed the Douk's lethal finishing. Lol. We had to make do with the unleashing of the leaner meaner fitter sharper Wood. I wonder how many he scores in training?
Play Stokes or Mulhern next game.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Apr 2016 18:34:17
thats evans problem, he changes all around woods but keeps leaving him on.
we needto buy a couple of goal machines in the summer/.

09 Apr 2016 19:26:51
Woods never was, and never will be a real Leeds player.

. he is here for the money and that alone.

Not surprising we have never seen any comments from the guy on his 'love for Leeds' or wahtever.

Hopefully he will shut the door on the way out after he and Evans depart.

£3 MILLION. total joke!

Note for Evans and Cellino: MK Dons are almost certainly dead and buried but they could still end up with more points than us the way we are squandering points?

Agree1 Disagree1

09 Apr 2016 15:56:29
A typical performance from an Evans team and if MC gives him another year what we have to look forward to next season. Unthreatening possession football, no pace, no creativity, percentage football hoping for a wonder goal or a present from the opposition.
Carayol and Dave lauded as Evans signings a good example Dave tidy and uninspiring, Carayol disinterested and dire and just emphasising why he is not wearing a Boro or Huddersfield shirt.
It is not all doom and gloom and with our season again drifting to the inevitable lower mid table finish can we at least give some kids ago and play this side for the rest of the year

Who is deciding on the system, tactics, working on set pieces at training, picking the team, making substitutions and coaching then?

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 17:06:44
I would say given stats from the last few games where we are on top in most areas show Evans is setting team out well and individual errors at the back and strikers not finishing show it's players letting us down not the manager.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 17:13:56
And unthreatening possession football we created plenty of chances wood should have scored at least twice.

Agree2 Disagree1

09 Apr 2016 17:17:41
And wood and bamba in your team for rest of season your having a laugh.

Agree1 Disagree1

09 Apr 2016 18:07:17
Wex are you Steve Evans?

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 18:23:51
No but your post was just ranting with no sense whatsoever we created plenty of chances and wood and bamba who you want playing for rest of season were biggest culprits in today's defeat bamba at fault for goal and wood missing sitters would you like to explain how they make your team.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 18:45:19
Because if not Bamba its Wootton or Bellusci

Duke is out, Erwin not yet good enough.

Plenty of chances? 11 corners and just 3 on target attempts. Surely they practice corner routines in training.
Wex if you are happy with that today then you will be a happy man for many years to come.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 19:01:01
Didn't say I was happy with it I just pointed out that it's not Evans team and as you've just pointed out the squad is not good enough and it's hard to blame Evans for that your last post proves that.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 20:41:07
No point in creating chances unless we have someone who will put them away.

. Wood is not the player we need as he continually demonstrates!

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 20:47:48
It will never be Evans team Wexleeds because Cellino signs the players he believes are right for the team. It is the head coaches job to work with what he is given. Unfortunately, I don't think he is capable to coach players to achieve a promotion challenge.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

09 Apr 2016 14:31:01
I have never seen someone mistime a jump as much as Wood. He is on his way down when the ball comes half the time. When he does connect cannot even hit the target. 3 million?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Apr 2016 13:24:59
i normally agree with you and certainly can see where you are coming from but I do think we have to aim slightly higher, his signings have improved the sqaud and he has not been a bad manager by any means so you have a point.

my only thing would be some of his team selections have been erratic, he has made the same mistake same times and patterns of play have not been good, we are too negitive and I think he fails to get the best out of the squad I think we are slgihtly under aciveing with the team we have so I hope we get better, but change has to be a good change and not just for the sake of change as SE is far from a bad manager.
