It feels like a Yoke has been lifted off the shoulders of every devoted Leeds supporter and we are now prepared for a bright future. With 100% ownership, the big question is are we now 100% behind MC or 100% against him.

And the answer, without a shadow of a doubt, is 'yes'.

Wow massimo has worked wonders getting rid of GFH! He deserves massive credit for this piece of business, all eyes now turn to his next move, it could well be he has had an offer he can't refuse depending on full ownership or he may well be looking to buy ER back as promised better late than never but hey his hands have been well and truly tied up with GFH, if he buys the ground he wants to get us to the premier league himself if not someone is loitering like MM outside his sister in laws bedroom window to buy us out. Either way I'm OK with it depends on whether massimo has the enthusiasm to go for it, he has his family to think about, as a minority have abused him and his family and despite some of it being justified and brought on by himself, we really do have a lot to thank him for, looking forward to my long weekend in Yorkshire, see you in the peacock people mot 😎 Dj.

Have to say, I think we will now see Cellino's true colours, whether it is full investment of a full sale, either way this has to be a positive move and a kick up the proverbial for the knockers.?

The Great man Massimo Cellino has saved Leeds United from administration and now our saviour has rid us of the parasites that that terrible person Bates let into our midst a truly momentous day for Leeds United long live Massimo. Marching on together. I am so happy. If Massimo does nothing else he deserves our eternal gratitude for this one act.

Great news Wex. GFH were the cancer within and you're right, even if he does nothing else he deserves our gratitude. It may mean he is selling which, if he does, will be at least to someone with cash or he may now decide to go for it alone and get us to the Premier League where his investment will be repaid tenfold. Either way, happy days without GFH. Sod it, I'm off down 'Spoons to celebrate. Down those pints and on your bikes GFH!

This is absolutely fantastic news imo. Cellino is far from perfect but he is so much better than the GFH parasites. This could be a prelude to a sale or hopefully buying the ground either way I feel it can only benefit the club and for this one Cellino deserves massive praise.

Yup great news and it will be interesting whether we see the ground purchased next. I just hope there are no hidden clauses (unless it's this oneπŸŽ…πŸΌ) roll on Saturday MOT.

Well rumours of a takeover have been flying around all day. This is a suprise, we still owe GFH a lot of money but they now cannot profit from any future development of the club. Does this mean that the GFH board member will stand down? People will put 2+2 together and get 5 and think a big turnover is coming but this must mean Cellino is here for the long haul.

Totally agree wex
Didn't see this post before I posted something similar.
Good riddance GFH. Close the door on your way out.

It's a very noble gesture Wex and I now believe investment is a strong possibility. I do think Celinio has done this so he can now sell us and as some media centres report with a view to keeping a minority share himself so he can make a tidy profit. According to an HITC article this week he has made a profit of over 6 million pounds in transfers since arriving, but I don't know how much of that has been used to settle numerous court cases. Still all positive.

"we still owe GFH a lot of money"

Correction, we owe GFH nothing but scorn and hatred.

. money grabbing parasites!

Maybe the TTG group will acknowledge the positive side of this, or just keep shtummm.

JT, I think you'll find the club were in the red and some of the money will have gone to balance the books in addition to paying wages and yes probably pay off the line a sacked managers and court cases. At the minute I am just happy that we have a club and managed to get GFH out of the picture. Let's hope they have cut their losses and are completely out of the frame for when we promote πŸ‘πŸ».

We still owe GFH 17m PP, but I agree pal we are now in a position to push on. If I'm completely honest I know off the field is very, very important, but for me it's on the pitch that counts. I wouldn't care who was in charge if we were winning on the pitch.

They were owed in the region of 17 million quid. Now the Club is owned outright I wonder if Cellino has a buyer lined up?

Looking ahead to the weekend and reading a recent article on Roofe. I think its time to put him upfront with one of the big men.

Hernandez and Mowatt on the wings. With Sacko and Dallas covering.

The rest is pretty much as everyone else will probably say. But my main concern is the 2 up top and absence of goals. Roofe can be the striker we all expected to sign in the dying hours of the window I just think Monk needs to have faith in himself and him to put him there.

Agree with Roofe up front with Ant.
Midfield, Bridcutt is a must.

Hernandez and Mowatt are out of position on the wings and virtually ineffective so that is a no from me. Mowatt has done nothing in 12 months to justify his place possibly because he is continually played out of position. Hernandez should be behind the front 2 in a free role if he plays. Dallas and Sacko first choice and Roofe with Ant.

Huddersfield? 'Kane might make a difference but not with dead ball situations. We are still weak there.
Cooper has improved but not in dead ball situations. Only real chance is if Berkley and Jonnson play at CH and if it works. If Cooper and Wood play we will do exceptionally well to draw. I won't say that since Belusci left matters at the back have got much worse. They have but it must be just a coincidence! It always surprises me when Wood scores but then again I don't get many surprises.

Oh that's a bit harsh on wood. Lol
Agree about belusci though. Glad Bambara gone but bel.

Hope than Jansen plays however he has been away with Sweden for the past 2 weeks and will not have had time on the training pitch with Gary and the team therefore he may continue with Bartley and Cooper (hope not) . How often Jansen will be used will be intriguing baring in mind he has a purchase clause activated after playing 20 games (circa Β£3m I believe)

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Sep 2016 22:03:23
I thought if he played 20 games it just triggered an option to buy rather than an obligation. What would happen if he plays 20 games and breaks a leg, would that mean we have to stump up Β£3 million. Cannot be true, surely.
