I reckon 3-1. After going 1-0 down
3 second half goals
1st goal on 54 min 21 sec or thereabouts to Dallas
2nd goal on 61 min 43 sec or thereabouts to murphy
3rd goal on 85 min 03 sec or thereabouts to ant
Someink like that

Read that it would have been Gary Speed's birthday today. Just a tragedy that he went so young and so needlessly. But definitely never forgotten Gary!

So let's see where we are going.
Last season we were outplayed by a rampant Brentford team who let's face it are nothing compared to the mighty whites.
This year so far they are struggling so I predict a win this weekend by 3-0 to United.
Let's hope the confidence flows through the whole side.
Must admit I'm shocked by the way we played against Derby and although I posted the wrong score I got the right result.

6-0 leeds not even joking or baised. Based on football knowledge I think the mighty leeds will smash the tin pot other team in yorkshire by so many goals they will have to extend the (really rubbish) new league hightlights show just to fit the goals in (said I wasn't biased)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - how long have Brentford been in Yarkshire? Your geography knowledge is nearly as bad as mine Berm.}

08 Sep 2015 16:51:24
whoops my georgaphy is fine however my dyliexia and football knowledge is questionable. I read it as bradford and forgot they are not in our league. anyway brentford. ummm I do think they will go down this year so sticking with 6-0 (why not). worrying as brentford is one the nearer teams to me so I should know it

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I was worried at the thought of someone having less geographical knowledge than me, I get lost in a lift!}

I was going to say that Ed as well, Bermondsey my friend you have been too long in the south, time to go home to your spiritual roots of Leeds ha ha.

I agree re the league highlights show, it is just pants, the two presenters have no natural chemistry, they don't gel and the dum ass footballers they have on, well it is painful to watch them. Last year was much better on the BBC even if it was on too late.

Got tickets for both games coming up, i'm with most people thinking we should beat Brentford 2-0 or better, Ipswich harder but I'm going for 2-1 as we have a good record against them at home I think.

my sense of direction is really bad as well, I got lost in bluewater (which is pretty much a circular shopping centre) and when I first met my wife I kept ending up outside her uncles house who lived three streets away. he must of thought I was casing the joint or secretly in love with him (to be fair he was a looker but bit too tall for me).

Highlights show is bad one good thing about it is it shows leeds playing well and millwall playing badly so that is a highlight althought wondering who picks the footballers. I know a lot of ex-footballers well and they are all very educated and know the game, why do they keep picking half brain dead neanderthals? think brentford will be a drumming and show class, ispsiwch is harder and they normally do ok against us so would be happy with draw although I think we will win 3-1

alright final one as bored but need to do some work.watching leeds videos and lots of them are great goals ect. what is everyones best five goals. either best in terms of how good they were or in terms of how important they were or fondly remembered mine are

1. strachan goal against sheff which got us back in first divions and started that breif glory era for us
2. yeboha goal against wimbledon, was at game and remember thinking how special it was to see it live
3. vidukas 4th against liverpool, was on holiday in bar with loads of random liverpool fans, I was only leeds fan and kept getting stick when they went in front everytime, when we got the winner I went mental (and got asked to leave for giving them stick)
4. whelaned goal against man utd. hated them at the time and best mate was a man utd fan that goal gave me lots of bragging rights in school that week
5. gayle own goal aginst sheff utd to give us league. remember dancing round the room for a good hour after that went in playing we are the champions

In no particular order.

1. John Sheridan's free kick where he flicked it up and volleyed it into the roof of the net - pure class.
2. Gary Mac's volley against Rangers - could have picked one from a dozen of Macca's goals, but this one was up there with the best of them.
3. Yeboah against Liverpool. I was at the game and the crossbar was still shaking a good five minutes later.
4. The Duke's goal against Arsenal to keep us up. Cool and composed so late on in the game. Probably the only player on the park other than Bergkamp capable of that.
5. David Batty - against Man City I think. For a player who liked to move sideways and never pass forward, he was left to run almost the entire length of the pitch with the whole crowd shouting 'Shoot' before he eventually did and score a very rare goal. Great occasion and he still kept looking up to see if he could pass the ball!
Honourable mention for Beckford's penalty against Spurs (under pressure) and his goal against S**m - just for the hell of it!

Strachan's goal against Liverpool in the Charity Shield. "Where's the ball? Oh there it is behind me. Oh I've scored"! lol. Probably be in a list for the worst goals of all time but still lives long in the memory!

I was proud to be at the game where Brian Dean took out Mark Hughes on the touch line. He went through his shin pads with a high studs up challenge and drew blood. He should have been sent off but they didn't even get a free kick. Deano became a legend that very moment

great call for bad goal MM, gary kelly scored a great diving header own goal as well think it was against a poor team like derby or bradford, would of been goal of the month if in the right net. And Aggro you are showing age there mate only goal I remember was strachan in 90 (and what a good goal it was)

Kebab. Would love to have seen that. That perm haired diver used to drive me mad. Throwing his weight about and then falling over as soon as you breathe on him. One of the worst cheaters the game has ever seen. And that bloody hair!

another post similar to last but wacthing a great programme called leeds, leeds, leeds looking over history of club and made just after we went down, made me proud to be leeds and gave good insight to the club with interviews etc. well worth a watch. Watching it did make me think reive was great but maybe should of won more and also made me think wilkinson was really great (our best manager ever IMO) and he was unlucky to be sacked just as the young team he was building was starting to come together. If we'd of kept him for another year to see bowyer, smith, kwelle, martyn, radebe, woodgate etc. come through properly it might of been a very different story still all what if's I guess. think club is finally on the upward crest of a wave again MOT

bored with no leeds at the moment so watching a lot of videos on internet. Saw last seasons goals in highlight and few things hit me, doukara is better than I gave him credit for and has pace power and purpose and is good finisher, murphy can hit them from range and the best finisher at the club might be bellisuch, his free kicks and finishing is class, if he could defend as well as he could shoot he would be worth £50 million, shame he can really defend ain't it?

So will we buy back our Ground before November when the rent gets increased again, waiting for Cellino to make an announcement

But I guess it will be . spent the money on players instead.

So come on let's "own our own house" unless it will be another GFH issue which stops him.

think we will get er back sooner or later. don't know what is going on behind scenes but think MC is a passionate man and likes to stay true to his word. Personally I would rather spend on squad and go up and stay up and get ground back later
