Going back to my topic on naming rights wouldn't mind " the red bull stadium " with a big fat cheque!! Mot

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Like the big fat check idea. Couldn't cope with the word red.
Has to have White in it methinks

Agree0 Disagree0

How quickly would it be named
RED rubbish ARENA by opposing fans??!!

Agree0 Disagree0

DAZ, I can see the censor has been at work in your post, but we get the idea. Maybe bull waste would have got through

Agree0 Disagree0

SpeedygRIP - You are correct!!
I should have used sh1t.
The ground might now be named YORKSHIRE RADIO STADIUM after a certain Mr bates bought the radio broadcasting rights for LUFC games!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye Daz
Prob a small price to pay to keep the creep out of court. I doubt many people listen to it- they aren't exclusive rights I don't think. Don't know why he just doesn't do one and go back to where he belongs

Well having watched most of the first team and development squad games this season the team I would be eager to see after the two week break is, Sylvestri, Berardi, Bellusci, Cooper. Warnock. Adryan, Bianchi, Montenegro, Cook, Antennuci and Doukara, subs Taylor, Pierce, Mowatt, Sloth, Byram, Sharp. I base this on the form they have been showing and future progression. Would alternate Sloth and Cook as Cook is young and in my opinion can't play three games a week. Sloth is not physical enough yet so would have them subbing one another. Benedicic is not there simply because he is injured and not been playing last few games. Would put Cooper in simply because he is younger than Pierce and needs to play first team if he will progress. If shown lacking Pierce is there on bench. In my opinion Mowatt needs to read the game better but is class and think he would soon be pushing for a starting place. Byram needs to get his act together, Berardi only in front of him because of commitment but no doubt Byram will get on plenty of times with Berardis cavalier tackling. Left Austin out simply as I do not see him as the way forward, does a lot of running but end result is lacking, that telling pass ain't in him. Players to be blooded in cup matches for me would be TaylorLB, Del Fabro, Phillips and Mulhern and Dawson. A bit disappointed with Mcdaid came with a rep but not impressing me yet. Be a shame if Dawson goes but with the midfielders we have and maybe another one coming can't see him getting much first team play. For me the future is bright and white MOT

You have watched more games than me so I guess this is a question rather than criticism but do you really think Adryan is fit enough for 90 mins in the first team at the moment?

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Oct 2014 14:22:02
Not really but 60 mins of him would be good, think a few of them need to get fitter and stronger, including sloth and cook. but really think we should be looking to the future now and ssorting out who is good enough for the next level we can't get to premiership then change all team again so while we got them on loan need to see as much as possible time passes quick, wish all our midfield did

Agree0 Disagree0

Good post mate. Bige
Just shows we have enough quality now
Just got to find or fall on the best 14!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like a great team to me Bige and if your seeing most games I will take your word on it.
MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

So that would look like this?

------------Silvestri

Berardi-Bellusci-Cooper-Warnock

--------Bianchi----Cook

Montenegro---Adyran-----Doukara

-------------Antenucci

Agree0 Disagree0

Now that is a team capable of winning our division MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Smitchell looks a good team, with good bench as well

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep, love that team
Bellusci captain?

Agree0 Disagree0

Also meant to say, great idea to alternate Cook and Sloth. Both potentially great imo, but Cook does need a rest now and again, and Caspar needs to get used to championship

Nice one again YEP.
Stirring it up for Warnock
Putting Redders and Dawson in the shop window
Can we have some constructive reporting please

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Oct 2014 11:41:16
YEP don't do journalism only print what they have read elsewhere or just speculate. If they were truly behind Leeds as a club and a city they would have someone looking into GFH and Bates and Harvey over their past dealings with the club

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - I disagree with that, Phil Hay puts a lot of work into Leeds United}

Well as with all newspapers, they prefer to print bad or controversial stories. Good news does not sell newspapers. The printed versions are fit for only one thing - tear them into small squares first works best

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Oct 2014 16:44:57
OK Ed I meant investigative journalism am sure Hay has a good working relationship with the club but I think most of what is written is common knowledge or speculative

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - I agree that some of the articles written have been old news, but a lot of the stuff heard first comes from either Phil Hay or BBC's Adam Pope as they are at all of the press conferences and constantly digging for information}

BIGE
Excellent assessment, I agree with you re most players. However I think someone needs to take Antennuci and Doukara on one side and explain the off side rule!
I would also like to see Sharp and Morison given more time rather than last 10mins and let's see what Adryan and Montenegro are like

Now that David Haigh is suing GFH for fraud it appears they really aren't fit and proper. The FL must be corrupt themselves now because if they find Cellino unfit Cellino's lawyers will run riot.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Oct 2014 11:53:58
This is a quandary for the FL because they know any action they take against Cellino will end up in a court of law and all their dirty laundry will be on public show, even YEP might have a reporter there, In the past the FL have imposed sanctions on clubs and the clubs have been happy to accept them because then its the end of the matter no one no wiser. With Cellino its his past they are concerned about, were they concerned about Yeungs past, Tans past even GFH past no. They set their own precedents and most of the board members have pasts that are more than dubious. They ar walking a tightrope with Massimo do they make an excuse and leave him be for a quiet life or take him to court and risk their whole credibility. If they thought it would be plain sailing they would have a court order out now for the court papers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant help thinking that the FL is flawed in that we have chairmen of clubs ruling on other clubs they are in direct competition with, surely it has to be independant or the rulings are wide open to abuse or being challenged

New topic if the price was right should we sell naming rights to highest bidder and if so give us so names for it good or bad? Personely I wouldn't want it changed but if we had to " the white rose stadium " your thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

For me it will always be Elland RD but reality is most top clubs have changed stadium name so it probably is for the best. The name of course will not be a name like rose white stadium but a brand name like emeriate or etidhad. Under bates it would of probably been something like m@rm*te spreadable but hopefully something Italian under MC, maybe Sp@ggit* hoops or every day is a Leeds united stadium day

Agree0 Disagree0

I rather like ' The Bermondsey Whites Tribute Stadium'

Agree0 Disagree0

Wat about a mix of you both
Er
Spermdye whites??

Agree0 Disagree0

As much as part of me would love that I don't want anything to do with Millwall on Leeds. My mates and family would roast me for it. I think the new den should be called, the tin pot Sh@T hole that wishes it was Elland Road

Agree0 Disagree0

I still want "The chief stand"

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure harte sounds like a dodgy adult film to me, how about the we're not famous anymore stand? or the Ken Bates stand with a statue of david c@ckaday outside?

Agree0 Disagree0

Good idea for once BW, I like the Ken Bates idea
We need to have some sort of recognition for all he did for the club

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe just do a collection at the end of each game as he didn't make enough out of us

Agree0 Disagree0

Whatever the situation is can't see warnock going to pfa over nt being picked there's got to be more to it and yes he has played well so far this season lacks pace but also saved our a. s a few times with his clearances

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Oct 2014 09:13:30
He earns a high salary,I think Cellino will want him off the wages bill, like McCormack,it's wrong,he is a good player, the football comes first!

those who know me know I love to moan so thinking of ed's post, which three players have least impressed this season? mine would have to be Ajose, bardi and Bryam, Bryam because I think he has been bit poor but also becuase I expect a lot more from him and he has not delievered. I was going to say hunt but he has not done enough to P@@s me off and of course the Hock but that is too obvious from me

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Only three I've seen that have been disappointing are
Byram. He is just not focused. Has talent but ain't on his game by a mile
Murphy. Consistently bad play and slow and he cost money too!
Sharp. I missed his goal but from what I've seen is not fully committed, plays like he wants out!

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair Ajose never really given a chance but must admit didn't look the part when he did play. Byram a big let down for past year or so. Not sure why as he is a talented player. Austin was useless until Redfearn took charge and then somehow looked like a new player, most probably because he wasnt used as a holding midfielder and was given licence to atttack.

Agree0 Disagree0

Byram
Needs a size 11 up the backside, 2yrs ago he was touted as going to the premiership for £10mill+ you wouldn't get £10 for him now.

VERY DISSAPOINTING!

Agree0 Disagree0

Too right
I saw byram play brilliant last year but this year he is crip! Too slow. Get rid I say. He has mccormack £££ in his eyes. No good to us anymore!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bryam needs a good few months on the bench and turning out for Redders side. let him know he is not too big to be dropped then I think he would come back like a different player or rather come back like the old player. My only thing with Bryam when he shone he shone in a very dour and poor Warnock team, was he ever that good? (not saying he wasnt but would certainly question it)
