Just a question- can Peltier play both sides?
The reason I ask is because if he can then Brian might play pelts there and play Green on the right as its know he has filled in at rb before and played on the right side of mid aswell so could possibly be an option!
Only a thought guys, not saying it's what I would necessarily do!

He played there for Warnock but IMO never looked comfortable. Was also one of the main causes of the criticism heaped on Warnock for playing players out of position. Personally, I think Drury (if fit) or Pugh offer better options.

Peltier on the right is a sure fire way for a disaster. Pugh is the only one who can do the job tomorrow.

bmcd made a big mistake letting white go, maybe more unlucky than anything really.
im not sure pugh can manage that position if we still play that formation as its the most in demand position on the field as they have to get forward and back very fast and i'm not sure he has the fitness or pace to do the job.
maybe tom lees could do a better job down the left . he has a better football brain than peltier and has more pace than pugh . he's young and should be able to adjust to that roll. play wooton, pearce and aliūkas in centre and pelts down right .

who knows?already seeing how week our squad is in places .

Pugh lwb, Green rwb for me. I see Peltier as more of a rcb.

Lees might have a footballing brain but, unfortunately, not footballing feet. Not bad in the air. Therefore left back, right back etc not sensible.

Byram and Warnock out for the clash against Charlton.

I know Peltier will be brought in to cover Byram, what what is the option with the LWB position. Makes me think it was a tad short sighted. I know a lot of fans don't rate him, but still.

Is Drury around?

Short sighted to send White out on loan, just realised I deleted some of the text

Drury isn't fit and hasn't played a first team game for over a year. With white and Taylor both out on loan the two options we have are Pearce or Pugh. With playing 3 in the middle I'm not sure we can afford to play Pearce out of position. That leaves Danny Pugh as the best choice, I have a feeling that mcd may turn to the academy for cover (not sure who there is though)

Has to be Pugh then. Has played well in the past (and badly: see the Leicester game last season). Doing well in training now apparently.

Ahhhh, Danny Pugh, forgot about him. I have a feeling it will be one of the CBs though

Really hope he does turn to the academy. It may surface another Gem

What about Peltier at Left back and Lees at right back? Downside - don't see Tom as a wing back therefore system would have to be changed. If recent system is kept in place Danny Pugh would have to play left wing back. Putting a centre back in that position wouldn't make any sense.

dury did play against donny in the cup and looked quite good getting some good crosses in .but unless he's somewhere near fit he won't be playing
