Both GFH and Ken Bates have stated it would be a clean slate and Ken would not be involved post takeover.

Personally I think with the squad we have now, the current league position is a fair if not generous position for us.

The next 10 games will shape our season and it could easily go either way seeing as anyone is capable of beating anyone in the Championship.

So far this season we have played a terrible style of football but if it was effective I wouldn't care but so far it's not been anywhere near it. The fact that Warnock keeps saying we're playing well and have been unlucky in games is a load of complete and utter rubbish.

I find it very worrying that this is Warnocks last season and the way things have panned out (no money, no takeover yet and poor results) I think he has nothing to lose and isn't going to listen to anyone and keep playing the way we are and he then has loads of excuses to say it's not his fault.

At the end of the day this is the squad he assembled and also claimed would compete so I'm afraid the buck stops with him. I'd love to be totally wrong.

Broken promises. Investment pulled. Just ask Pearce and the others lied to. Bates rapacious movement of monies to Monaco from team is the reason. Blame Bates no manager would succeed with the prevailing atmosphere.

Agree3 Disagree5

Bates is the problem and always has been. LUFC will not be the club they can be until he has left the building. Building a full squad with 2 million more or less and fight for promotion, is a tall order in anyones book. There was money from snoddy and the money that LUFC supposedly turns over every year, where has this all gone. If snoddy had stayed and not been sold, where would the transfer kitty of come from then. Don't forget GFH have give Bates money already. So where has this money gone?

Kenwyne Jones is the player I wud bring in, do a great job for us up front, works hard, is strong, knows where goal is, and doesn't disappear during games as he wants to get involved.

I thought Keogh was a grafter, he worked hard and you couldn't criticise his effort during his time with us. If only he found the net, pity.

PS
If TO does not happen b4 chrimbo I think Leeds new owners may not be GFHC, but .... If they drag their heels !

LUFC always

Believable4 Unbelievable1

We dont need a striker unless hes very fast . we have no real wingers in our team , white ,byram are defenders
tonge is a c mid ,varney is an attacking mid .
bring in a new gradel and snoddy and we will score for fun again . maybe hall is good enough to play down the right and if takeover doesn't happen we should bring rogers back for rest of season .

Agree1 Disagree0

Jones would suit our hump it up field play, hes been used to it at Stoke so would work wonders for us and would be a fantastic loan signing seeing as they payed a lot of money for him

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive been saying kenwynne for a while.but also we need pace,so kenwynne and s w phillips would do me and show we actually mean business and actually want to go up,would be even greater if max came back.one on each flank feeding kenwynne and ross when back,,ooh we can dream...shrew leeds

Agree1 Disagree0

Surely all players know where the goal is. no?

NW on sky we need other loan player for this w/end,the last 1 we got aint played first team for us yet R Hall.why have him if u aint going to play him.he's fresh and young, like the player your going to bring in.

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Because hes not match fit , do you go on the os

Agree2 Disagree5

Just like the other eleven then, should fit in well in that case.

Agree3 Disagree1

4 goals and not fit!?can't be no worse than what were not doing now!and for that reason why not give him a start!

Agree5 Disagree0

He's got to be fitter than the likes of Brown

Stop with all these rubbish 'another season written off' posts, there's still 30 games left and we are 4 points off the play offs. Give your head a shake and see that every team is capable of beating any other, hopefully, the TO will happen and we'll be able to get some momentum behind us and get climbing. Anything is possible in this league.

Also, did anyone watch Celtic Barca game? We as Leeds fans could have that atmosphere, if not better! It just shows the team IS affected by the atmosphere. 17-18000 at elland road, they are bound to play rubbish seeing half the seats empty.

Believable6 Unbelievable10

We could have that atmosphere if Bates and the takeover saga hadn't drained all the enthusiasm from us fans.

LU squad is weak, I would say a few more years b4 we can think of PL

Agree8 Disagree2

We dont need much to push for promotion really , just a proper left winger and either a right winger or right back depending on where warnock prefers byram to play ,its best to get him playing 1 position for the season rather than moving him around each game .

I know evry1 is sick of hearing about this takeover, but this does really look like it could be coming to an end its all over twitter and from pretty credible sources and GFH have retweeted there statement from september it includes elland rd aswell also looks like GFH have put more money in than the original 2million thought

Bates has lost the fan base more and more are now staying away.

He is caused so much unrest at ER and I believe he has enjoyed doing it.

Ken, you've had your fun , take the money and do one .. we don't want you anymore, you have outstayed your welcome.

HTFC have signed SC from Reading today ... and we desperately need a striker, what's going on ?

NW is put players out on loan that we need and is now short so playing people out of position.

The players are currently well under par ..... if you had to price the tickets on the quality we are seeing and the commitment from the boardroom, tickets should be £3.00 this weekend.

The TO is taking forever, its turned into a complete joke .. have your fun and do what want, unit you have left ER I will never return.

Our club is slowly being ruined ... vote with feet and stay away !

Simon church is average at best! I think the dog fiddlers need another striker because they sold the only decent 1 they had to that massive club...Blackburn!! Another loan SIMON!!??LOL

Loan man Ryan Hall scored four goals at Derby County on Tuesday as Leeds United's Development Squad romped to a 5-0 victory against the Rams.

Please start Hall on saturday mr warnock we are begging you !

Simon Church won't be coming in on loan then then as he's gone to Huddersfield! We're running out of strikers that could actually be signed! There's a kid at Bury, Poleon I think his name is, maybe we should get him in! ;-) - JamesC

To all you Leeds fans who don't seem to have a brain is warnock the best man 4 the job. YES given time he will turn it around everything takes time Is it attractive football under warnock. NO very direct but that's his style. WILL we get promoted NO not this season but if given time should be pushing 4 playoffs next season may be more HAS warnock been in this position b4. YES Sheffield utd turned them around and promoted to premier league ISbates doing a good job HE'S turns it around and ok bent the rule book but were in a better position with him than with out him

Believable5 Unbelievable12

Warnock has a contract until the end of this season. The club should be looking now at who is best for the long term future. Let warnock see his contract out, but only allow long term loans not permanent signings. As soon as the season is over put in the new long term manager and back them for transfers etc. No point offering warnock more time, he's at the end of his career. Time to start looking long term.

Agree9 Disagree5

Toatally agree with the second poster, no point in letting warnock spend too much cash and tie players down to 2/3 year deals if he's not gonna be here next season,if this is his last season then give the money to the new manager so we can have a real go next season, cos as much as we all want it i don't think we are doing to do it this term,i know there's a long way to go but just don't think it's gonna happen, but hopefully i'm wrong,

The nightmare looks like it could
continue David Haigh has said what
a fantastic job bates has done, he
wants him on another year as a
consultancy at the club, not what
Leeds fans want to here could be
a junior bates thats why bates
wouldn't talk to anyone else, just
how much has bates manipulated
GFH into how to make money from
the club and fans?

Believable3 Unbelievable16

No, he hasn't said this.

Where has he said this

Would you risk giving anymore money to Warnock,on the evidence of his transfers so far I wouldn't,this is a man who was desperate to sign Nicky Maynard what a waste of money that would have been.

Believable4 Unbelievable19

Please be quite Warnock Hardly spent a penny, and maybe maynards injury was down to the way cardiff train might not have happened at leeds and could be scoring for fun !

Agree3 Disagree3

Warnock has spent around 2 mill - hardly class that as "a penny"

Agree2 Disagree1

Nicky maynard was class for us he injured himself playing against millwall due to the poor playing surface. If he had stayed fit he woud have been top scorer in the campionship with us(cardiff)

There are some real gormless gullible fools reading way too much into very little! We're being taken for fools and allowing it to happen, for 8+ months talks with GFH capital have been going on and yet all and sundry just blame Bates.. Never GFH for the delays etc and constant false hopes. Bates the only one seemingly making frank comment, like he does in his crass, in audible way.. But hey the old fart says he wants the get the investment into the club even sell! So what gives? Come on.. Walk the talon David Haigh, Salem Patel GFH Capital.. Or shut up and walk away! Let someone else do the deal!

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Honestly you'll never be happy bet you blamed bates for everything. Sorry your sad and need a life you rambling fool

Agree7 Disagree1

Totally agree with original poster I have heard statements made by bates and not once has he been contradicted GFH have not come out and said actually its bates that's holding it up so go on call me all the names under the sun Do your homework and prove me wrong

A mate of mine said today man utd wouldnt be top of PL if it wasnt for van p*ssy, i replied Leeds WOULD be top if wasnt for Michael Brown (jokingly) then i realised we narrowly beat Bristol City and Barnsley when he started but since Barnsley on Oct 6th we not won a league game since. What does that tell you NW.

I was overjoyed when warnock became manager. However, recently I'm beginning to question the man. Yes, he has great experience and all the know how but I feel he may be dated! If he had a fiver for every time the balk is lumped aimlessly to becchio id be a rich man. He insists on playing a rigid 4 4 2 with a slow tinge on the left and either a left back or right back right wing! I mean play white down the left, he is left footed after all! Peltier has played over 70% of the time left back or centre back! Wasn't he brought as a right bk? I feel warnock has appointment him as captain but with the emergence of byram who in my opinion is a better right bk than peltier he is frightened to drop him! Surely study is better at his specialised position than peltier! We desperately need pace, why have we loaned poleon out and not even given hall an opportunity! He scored 4 in the development squad today so hopefully he will get his chance soon! Him and byram could be electric down the right! White and poleon would have pace down the left as well, which could of freed tongue up to be more central and dictate the play rather than having the constant fouling michael brown in there, we already have Austin to break up the play! If only I was manager hey! Lol! I still believe in warnock and if this takeover really happens I feel he should be given funds and a chance to buy some flair players we should be ok! I just feel its a pity bates has probably cost us this season by being stubborn and as a result the squad, management and fans feel puzzled and annoyed! U can sense it with the atmosphere within elland rd this season! Let me know your thoughts!

Believable5 Unbelievable2

I would like to see the following team in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation.

Kenny
Byram Pearce Lees Drury
Austin
Hall Tonge
Diouf
McCormack Becchio

Obviously until we have our injured players back that isn't possible, so instead I'd swap Kisnorbo for Lees and Varney or Gray for McCormack until then.

Bench would be - Ashdown, Peltier (for Byram), White (for Tonge), Brown, Norris, Green, Somma

Surely playing the players in their preferred positions (or as close to as possible) would give us a better chance of playing some flowing football instead of hoof and hope.

Agree2 Disagree2

I was furious when warnock joined but hes brought in some good signings just a shame we couldn't of kept snoddy and that mccormack as been injured for a long period .i think things would be very different if them 2 had been playing or that we had the funds to replace them .

Why is Green not getting a chance? He was quality in the wolves game before getting injured.

Kenny, pelltier(unfortunately) lees,Pearce,
Green, Bryan Austin, tonge/norris, hall,
Ehd, becehio

Sorted where do I apply?
