Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Very reliably source has told me that Leeds United are to offer Leicester Adam Clayton + £700k for the services of Jermaine Beckford.

Im a Leicester fan btw and personally i would welcome that move. Clayton looks a decent player and would deffinatly improve our squad.

Believable11 Unbelievable5

They wont pay his wages...simple.

Agree3 Disagree3

Its not the size of the transfer fee that will scupper the deal, its the wages ,will surely earn much more than we can pay him, great if we can but unlikely.

Agree3 Disagree3

Can only earn 20k a week max - new league rules

Michel salgado told by blackburn to find a new club. Warnock likes old heads, and bates likes free's. Match made in heaven would solve right back position.

Believable2 Unbelievable10

Salgado wouldn't get in a decent pub team he cost Blackburn so many goals this season.

Agree6 Disagree2

As much as i agree with the finacial side i feel we need pace in the fullback areas at 36 hes only getting slower maybe as a squad player as sime kind of player/coach

Heard that Wolves have enquired about Adam Clayton and NW has offered a swap plus cash for Matt Jarvis.... Rumour Jarvis is keen

Believable7 Unbelievable6

Jarvis has played for England, he'll stay in the prem

Agree3 Disagree0

Can't see it but if it is true bring it on

Agree3 Disagree0

Swap him for Karl Henry.

Agree2 Disagree2

If this is true great signing mr warnock....however jarvis has been attracting interest from villa west brom and wigan so ive heard

Anyone feel the same as me that the OS is turning the Pearce signing in to a bit of a saga??

Believable16 Unbelievable6

I hope hes as good as there making him out to be

Agree11 Disagree1

Could we not moan about everything? FFS! We have a class player be happy!

Agree7 Disagree0

I wish these bleeding moaners would go on holiday from May to August. Boring me to tears already.

We've signed a cracking young defender at a snip of his true value due to Portsmouth's financial mess. Just be glad we're not on the receiving end of this type of scenario for a change.

Agree2 Disagree1

08 May 2012 21:11:47
Possible team with rumoured players, i know it will probably look nothing like this but from whats being said now i thought i'd do one MOT

Lonergan

LB Papac CB Pearce CB Lees/Whitbread RB Lichaj/Halford

LW-George Boyd CM-Green CM-Ambrose/snodgrass RW-Rogers

ST-Diouf/Becchio , Somma/beckford but very doubtfull

Would be interested for peoples opinions?
Aidy white, clayton and mccormack will go

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Aidy is over rated quick player but needs to build everything else in his game, if he wants the big bucks let him go, but he definitely won't do jack in the premier yet needs much more experience yet, Clayton will go, Ross just needs to get on a diet seriously, not been mean but his fitness let's him down, would be more sharp if he lost some timber, hope they all stay Inc snoddy but what ever happens happens, they are all replacable it's just thing of actually replacing them unlike Grayson did or could.

Looks like the boy Pearce can really play judging Vince Hilaire's comments on the O/S. We need another at the back just like him to give Lees some competition. As well as a couple of new and decent full-backs. Midfield worries me. Since it's his agent being greedy, think we'll see Clayts stay this coming season and leave on a Bosman next June. Wouldn't mind seeing Clingan arrive. Who else is decent in midfield at this level?

Been told by paddy kenny's dad who lives in Halifax ,pellon were I live that he is fed up ov traveling 2 and from London and warnock is signing him

What about McCleary from forest? ( he is the guy that scored 4 on the 7-3 win fot forest) He is 24 a pacey winger and is out of contract in the summer.

Come on uncle Ken, no transfer fee so get your hand in your pocket for his wages....he is leaving forest this summer and has refused there contract offer, only Celtic are sniffing and they arent worth bothering with as rangers will be in Div 3 when the SPL vote next week.

Come to Leeds and enjoy the footy

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Hes only played well against our defence,we make all strikers look good, remember Paynter?,need to shell out on a quality striker.

Agree6 Disagree0

Hes played well in a lot of games its not like he scored 4 against us and went back into the shadows. he scored a wonder goal dribbling from inside his own half (against blackpool i think). good technical player with pace.

Source: Sly Sports

Sly Sports sources understand Leeds are in talks with El-Hadji Diouf with a view to signing the controversial forward in the summer.

The former Liverpool, Bolton, Sunderland and Rangers player will be a free agent at the end of the season, when he will leave relegated Championship outfit Doncaster.

And Neil Warnock's Leeds, who are expected to make changes to their squad, are ready to offer Diouf a move to Elland Road.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Thats old school news

Agree8 Disagree1

There have been hundreds of names listed here as potential signings and I can't think of any of them who would be less welcome than the sewer rat ... please let this deal fall through

Agree1 Disagree3

Sly sports? Sounds a bit dodgy to me!

Love it that now bates coughs up what half a million for a player hes going to fund multi million pound targets lets face facts you may get one more signing all be it about 1 million but every other
player signed by colin will have to be free and only want a pack of aunt bessie's yorkshire puds and
fit this criteria

£6.08 - the main rate for workers aged 21 and over
£4.98 - the 18-20 rate
£3.68 - the 16-17 rate for workers above school leaving age but under 18
£2.60 - the apprentice rate, for apprentices under 19 or 19 or over and in the first year of their apprenticeship

but Master Bates has promised time and a half on saturdays!

Believable5 Unbelievable4

And that's only 6am till 12 noon.

The deal is swapping Clayton for Beckford and Mills
Plus Leeds will give a 1-1.5 million on top

Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream on!

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Pregnant fish. Look for it on urban dictionary. Describes you.

Agree5 Disagree1

Why would we swap a proven striker all be it he was carp and potentially one of the best cb in the championship for an over rated cm and if leeds can not meet his wage demands they have no hope with mills 25k pw and bet beckford is around that 2

Agree2 Disagree1

08 May 2012 18:35:44
If we're looking for finisher to get us goals again, how about fryatt? Manager just been sacked. May not be in new managers plans, not too expensive wages surely. Just a thought.

Departures look set to pick up at ER.

McCormack
Snodgrass
White
Clayton

...will all be giving the club a decision to make about their futures, as all four look set to reject their new contracts. I don't think I need to substantiate this too much - they would have signed by now had they have decided to stay.

Agree if you think we should re - sign gk paul robinson disagree if you think we shouldnt sign him and i wanna here your views on it?

Believable12 Unbelievable5

Lonergan not good enough. Would prefer Alex McCarthy but Paul Robinson would do.

Agree9 Disagree1

If he's building for the future, he wont sign Paul Robinson.

Agree2 Disagree3

Out of all the past players Paul Robinson is the one I would love Leeds to re-sign. Brilliant keeper.

Agree8 Disagree2

Robinson's the only one still playing from the O'Leary era who I would entertain. Still doing the business in the Premiership. I don't think it will happen though, because I'd be amazed if we don't sign Paddy Kenny.

Agree6 Disagree1

I felt rob green was doin the buisness in the PL but he stuck with west ham. I think he'll stay with blackburn or go to leeds

Gk lee camp from forest in his final year of his contract one of the best in the championship anyone think we should make a bid for him would get him on the cheap aswell?

Believable8 Unbelievable3

I don't think we should bid for him because there are some good keepers going to be available for free.
Having said that he is a very good keeper and is a good shout,

Shola Ameobi is set to leave Newcastle after being told he is surplus to requirements at the Sports Direct stadium. He is expected to complete a trial at Leeds in the next two weeks

Believable2 Unbelievable11

This is rubbish, no players will be going on trial untill pre-season. what do you think he is going to train on his own.

Agree8 Disagree0

No offence but I don't think we'd insult Ameobi by making him trial also I think we'd be in a rush to sign him before somebody else did.

Agree5 Disagree0

08 May 2012 13:30:35
i hope that becchio is back to his best with a good pre season with somma coming back

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Becchio will be gone soon.... {Ed037's Note - I can't see that, Warnock seems to think of him as a vital player, plus he's been a new player under Warnock}

So heskey has been told he isnt going to be offered a new contract from villa, watching him play recently though ot appears he's hitting goos form, great player for strength and build up play maybe what leeds have been missing, he seems pretty desperate to sign for a new club so i doubt he will ask for high wages.

maybe he could do what jason roberts did for reading?

agree?
disagree?

Believable7 Unbelievable10

He is a useless lump, he is always on the floor, he struggles to score even if it's an open goal, he is terrible, most over rated English player ever, just let Leicester have him

Agree10 Disagree4

Nah, Heskey hasn't got the pace or finishing ability that Roberts has.

He's a decent link up player but there are definately better options already at the club.

Agree6 Disagree3

I prefer my forwards to at least score enough goals per season that I can count on two hands. Heskey can jog on.

Agree6 Disagree2

How this guy played for england is beyond me. So bad.

Agree7 Disagree2

Well said post 2, could not have put it better my self. alto i would .. didn't NW say he wants to add pace to the team...mmm jog on Hesky not good enough

Agree6 Disagree1

I have a feeling Heskey could be amazing in this league.
Far too much of a risk though having justified all the negative comments ever said about him.
Any manager aiming for promotion would have big brasses to sign Heskey.
Would like to see Bradley Wright Phillips myself.
