Is there a reason we haven't had a sub goalie since NW took over? Can any1 enlighten me please
Chorley white {Ed013's Note - He doesn't feel like we need one as he felt Bromby could step in for the worse case scenario. Also it gives him a wider variety to choose from as there is only 5 spaces}

Thanks ed. Who will cover now bromby injured? Can u see us getting any1 on loan before boro game?
Chorley white {Ed013's Note - The Mills situation is still in the air, but now West Ham want him I would expect him to go there. I would expect Taylor back on the bench if Bromby doesn't recover fast enough. Also Mr Warnock stated today that Connolly is his right back for now}

Not read that. Were is that story? {Ed013's Note - It was on one of his interviews post Hull game}

Cheers. Nice to see not moaning sh17e for a change things are looking up. No matter what I can't wait for the summer sales. Think bates will back him or why come here. Onwards and upwards {Ed013's Note - He is backing him, he said so today}

Neil hasn't had a keeper on the bench for years at other clubs either, believe the % of a keeper getting injured is slim, he has always trained an outfield player to play keeper just in case

Neil Warnock to get rid of all the players out of contract this summer so he can bring in his own players. So expect Brown, Obrien, Forsell, Valayan White (transfer fee as he is under 24) and Bruce. Odea loan finished. This is 7 players at the very least. I'd like White to stay but it's up to NW as were all behind him 100%.

Warnock's a big fan of Brown - and he looks like a player transformed in the last few games - not so sure he'll be going.

Can't see brown leaving . white may still get a new contract .it will be more likely lloyd sam ,billy paynter ,leaving along with o'brien and the others you mentioned .

Parker will be gone.

Varynen, once recovered, deserves a run and to be given a chance, he has been unlucky with injuries since he arrived! Cannot write him off just yet!
Agree5

Varynen is another Parker his career has been ruined by injuries he will never play 15+ games a season!
Agree0
Disagree1
Vayrynen played for PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League, Parker will never be anything other than a League One player, even when fit.

Was he good last night? i didnt see him, saw him in the first game and he looked sharp. lots of pace, couldnt understand why he was a free agent

Agreed, but not being negative but Keogh came in and did a similar job...
Just saying, but got a good feeling about him and obviously different style players. He's slotted into the team nicely though, deffo promising!

Best signing for ages? HAHA!
He's looked sharp, but what has he done? 2 apps, 0 goals, 0 assists
Webber for England!

Manager or player?

Played well against Saints but missed a few. Thought he was OK last night - one of the least poor players in a very lacklustre performance. Nothing to get excited about though.

Webber looks like he has prem ability at times but i think its going to take a few more games for him to get fully match fit

Hope you all had a superb day at work today pity your boss does not come on here and slate you!
We all have good and bad days at work we are looking a far better team solid at the back goals will come NW is sorting out.

To the guy slagging off his apprences, he creates chances which is more than i can say for some players out there

It's great to be able to read more positive posts on this site over the last week after months of slagging of Bates, SG, NR, players etc.. My only question is why did the board decide to give NR those three 'winnable' games, which ironically will have cost us a play-off spot, rather than get Warnock in straight away? The upturn in form, confidence and defensive solidity that has been instilled in the squad is amazing in just 'three' games with Warnock in charge. A golden opportunity missed I feel.

I agree, and posted something similar at the time. Apparently we had to wait till compensation was sorted with QPR. Also, it appears that Warnock was a whisker away from joining Wolves, but preferred us. Something about the passion of the Leeds fans convinced him to drop down a division.
I really like everything i' ve seen and heard about Warnock. He s got good old fashioned football principles. He lives and breathes football.
I think Leeds and Warnock suit each other....got a good feeling about this, a bit like when Wilko arrived mid season ( was it 88?)

There may be a more positive mood but the fact is, since NW became the manager properly, we haven't actually scored a single goal (NR was in charge for Donny). We won't go up with 0-0 draws and 1-0 defeats no matter how heroic the performance.
We were great against Saints without delivering where it mattered but last night we were woeful in the first half and not much better in the second. We were saved from a humiliation by Lonergan who made 2 or 3 good saves and took a few balls from their feet. On another day we could deservedly have been 4 down by half time.
Reality check needed. I expect a clear out in the summer but if Bates still insists on frees & loans I think we'll be just as frustrated this time next year. {Ed013's Note - Bates has come out today and said that he will back NW and that he agrees with getting rid of the loan players, so that is good news}

In all fairness, we were robbed of a win at Portsmouth - McCormack's shot was a metre over the line for crying out loud.
Against Southampton we were just mugged!
So, with a battling draw at Dull the other night, we really should, and deserved to be, reflecting on 7 points out of 9.
Agree3

And Portsmouth should have had a penalty for Lees's blatant handball...
Should have beaten Boro, Ipswich and others early season. Fact is we didn't.
We took 6 points of Burnley though after being outplayed both games (and I was at all those games and most others).
The bottom line is the number of points we actually have and the goals we actually score and concede. We are now potentially 11 points off the playoffs if other teams win their games in hand, 8 points worse off than when Larry left. Not exactly brilliant is it.
We need a new squad. Warnock's the best man to get it because he doesn't want another job in the future and doesn't care what Bates thinks.
I'll wait until the summer to pass judgement but gut instinct is that I can't see Bates coming up with the readies...

It's nice to read some positive comments on this site and the outlook looks much more encouraging thanks to Warnock... let's face it he has only brought 1 player in so far (not including Robinson yet as he hasn't contributed) so the turn around in performances, if not results, must be down to him and his coaching staff.
I don't think he will get us up this year (hope I'm wrong) but, for me his biggest challenge is going to be persuading Snoddy, Clayton et al to stay for next season. If he can do this, add a bit more quality and get rid of some of the deadwood on the payroll, I think we'll have a real chance of automatic promotion.

If we get a good offer for snoddy i would take it .hes been poor in the last 3 games i don't know if its to do with change of management or what but he is snatching at shots ,losing the ball everytime hes got it . just maybe he already knows he doesn't want to be at leeds after this season and knows he will be moving on . {Ed020's Note - did'nt see the game last night, but he was awesome at soton, he gave 200%}

To be honest, turning round the performances and setting us off in the right direction at the back end of this season will work wonders with those players and persuading them to stay. For me, the improvement to the team is far more important than getting us promoted this term.

If you re just interested in winning, go support man city.
Give it time, remember when Wilko too over, it took half a season for him to bed on systems and get the players he wanted.
We just need to a Gordan Strachan and a Chrissy Fairclough and we ll be sorted.

One goal conceded(good one at that too)
You build a good team from the back,something we have been unable to do in about 10 yrs now.
I am happy. Rome wasnt..........

It's nice not to see a defeat away from home for a change, take a look at Hull City's form, at least Warnock appears to have stopped the rot at the back.....

Yes it is a great start,beat Donny,totally outplayed Saints,good point at Hull.NW influence is already massive,can see us being red hot favourites next season,trim the squad,few quality signings not loanees and were on the up,so stop moaning and back NW and the boys.
Agree11

Way i see it these 0-0 draws are good as we are not conceding . goals will come but they do need to start coming soon. if we do somehow find ourselves in the playoffs at end of season our defence needs to be able to get clean sheets. warnock as already slowed the goals at our end .well done warnock . {Ed020's Note - draw with a clean sheet is better than a loss anyday!!!}
Agree8
Disagree0
Before Warnock took over, we hadn't had a 0-0 all season, now we've conceded only 1 goal in 3 games. Would rather be drawing 0-0 with Hull than losing 6-1 to Barnsley... {Ed013's Note - Exactly, you can't please everyone mate}
Agree6

2 clean sheets in 3 games....and your complaining? we went through a spell in december were we didnt score for 3 games or so and we were still conceding...NW is addressing the most important problem (the defence) first. next the attack or midfield will be sorted out give him time

I think if you look at how many agrees and disagrees you have youl know your facts are correct but your comments are unwelcome.
we deserved better out of the games especially the league leaders.the improvement is massive and i for one am impressed with warnocks contribution.give him a chance..shrew leeds

As anyone who was at the game and sober will tell you, last night's 0-0 was down to Lonergan. It was a shambolic first half performance and we could easily have lost by a hatful.
