Our next manager? For me it can be only one. The only Leeds captin since Radebe who gave everything. His hair is red and fuzzy and he'd kick them black and blue for the sake off Leeds he would brake himself in 2, He knows this league better than most, as he has played in it most off his career Mr Richard Naylor. By the way did you see it when we played and Neville was pushing his birds nest out (Naylors face priceless )

Believable0 Unbelievable22

Leave naylor with the U18s he is doing a great job with them maybe in a couple of years time he might get on the shortlist for the managers job.

I am an occassional poster, but seeing this young 15 year old lad, has made me want to write this essay.

I am 18 years old from Brighton I make the round trip when I can, I remmeber when I was younger watching the likes of viduka, smith, martyn, radebe, harte, kelly running their arses off wearing the lily white colours, showing huge amounts of passion, and looking like they loved every minute of it.

We fell on hard times I was maybe too young to understand but when you grow up with this difficulty and not during the golden era it is easier for us youngsters to not recognise the full potential of this club, but I know I would give an arm and a leg to any person just to help fill that ground back up to 40,000 week in week out, we would be intimidating, but most of all how can the owners invest in the club, if we aren't helping with the gate receipts!

Now, I know you all think oh he is young he has no idea, but I do, I went on a stadium tour this year on the same day we beat crystal palace, first time I had been on the tour, I have to say walking out that tunnel sent shivers down my spine, if those players out there wering our great colours do not feel the same way, then I say release them, bring in chris dawson, bring in monty gimpel, bring in poleon lenighan and parkin, and let's see the new golden era arrive on the surface and let's all march on together!

COME ON YOU LEEDS!

Hi everyone I am a 15 year old boy who can't get to games but I subscribe to LUTV and I know you will all blame
the kid but I am going to say it.
Do you think Billy Bremner Gary Speed and Don Revie and many more cause I maybe was not around but what I heard was that the players were amazing the club amazing and the fans so what happen to the team I try and get to game and that all I dream of doing is going to the games and seeing 40,000
Again think about it

I will march on will you? {Ed016's Note - That's the spirit young man! But a lot of fans would say that dire lack of investment in recent years under chairman Ken bates, soon to be former chairman, has alienated alot of fans. This has been difficult for some of us older fans - speak for myself! who were used to Premier league and Europe in the nineties and 00's) But MOT.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

The world went bad after the Millennium. 2003-04 the worst season of my life. My club was relegated and
S Club 7 disbanded. If only this was the 90's or very early 2000's again. what I'd give for Nigel Martyn; a defence of Harte Radebe Matteo Kelly; a midfield quartet of Bowyer Dacourt Batty Bakke and strike force of Smith and Viduka. Even Jason Wilcox would be a supreme player in our team now.
Oh and S Club 7 to reform! : )

Can someone fix it please.

I am the 15 year old lad and I go by the name bluewolf

And believe it or not I hope to play for leeds united some day {Ed013's Note - Lets hope you have an apprenticeship already as this is the age you need to be looking at getting into the U18 squad}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi ed I hope to get apprenticeship but I have an eye problem and if any fans want to see me then come down to the lecister training dome for our inclusive tourment I play in light blue {Ed013's Note - Not Like George Boyd, as long as you can see the ball you will be fine}

i havnt got a problem with habibou but what I dnt understand is why let nunez go and bring this guy in surly nunez had more to offer? nickybee {Ed013's Note - Nunez was injured, probably wanted to go home and in my opinion he was too lightweight. Habibou was brought on in the wrong game and although looked out of his dept, can't be judged on the little time he had on the pitch}

Believable11 Unbelievable0

Think some team in america has signed nunez ed {Ed016's Note - He's a free agent now anyway I believe, but good luck to him though, he didn't really a get a real chance with us)

I really hope Habibou gets a good run out on Saturday and plays out of this world, and to top it all off gets a winner. .

Just so all you negative miserable boring Habibou haters who have evaluated him in 15-20 mins of scrappy footballing time suck on it and put a sock in it!

Go on Habibou lad show these Leeds "fans" what you're about and make them support you instead of just looking for someone to point the finger at to blame!

Just a few things for you to consider.

Positive = Marching All Together

Bates vs GFH

If Bates was still in charge byram, White + how many other would have been sold

GFH are trying to keep our good players, even becchio was offered an improved contract but he handed in a TR. So keep him for the short term and lose money or do a deal.

I would rather keep our young talented players and build the team.

I remember another young Leeds team under O'Leary when Graham left.

Give the team including new players, manager and GFH your support at least until they prove otherwise.

In my mind - Judge it on the end of the season.

Yes I am here again, Lust said on the radio this morning let's all start thinking positive and move forward together, well said that man, at last some positive attitudes from people who have talked ridiculous before before and during the takeover. I must admit we here at Leeds have got some real muppet's who post on this site, where do some of these people come from, if I thought negative like these people every day then I think I would jump off a M62 bridge on to a on coming crap wagon.
Come on you twits stop all these stupid comments and post good intelligent things like I do. Now for the sensible questions? is it so important that we go up this year ANSWER no, is it great to see new players signing contracts again ANSWER yes, are we moving forward and improving on the pitch ANSWER yes, is this squad coming together and is the bench starting to look strong ANSWER yes, are we now signing and paying a transfer fee for players ANSWER yes. Seriously though I am really excited at the prospect of how things are moving forward, NW and the new owners I believe have planned promotion for next year and if it happens this year its a bonus. let's not all forget that from August to 21st December NW had his hands tied and he kept saying with the squad he had we were not at that time able to contest for promotion, he was right of course he was, this guy has been there before he knows what is needed. Ask NW now in February if we have had this squad back in August what the promotion chances would have been. All you sensible people know the answer. Keep positive the football we have played in the last few games is as good for many months, we have got some good ball players who move, yes move, I posted a few weeks ago that Cardiff are very average team and I was proven right, Cardiff could not live with our passing and movement, it is just a mystery why we can not beat them, we were seriously hard done by. I now await the mob who jump into crap wagons to reply. Kevin Leeds 50 years

Believable12 Unbelievable6

I agree with some of your comments, but you let yourself down on the last few lines. Cardiff could not live with our passing movement? Were you there? The football is poor. If we win I can put up with the long ball and the fact players are out of position. If Warnock had played some of his current squad in the correct places or not at all in some of their cases, then we would be higher up the table. I ain't negative, just an avid follower of football and have played and watched all levels. What I'm watching from my seat every home game is like a Sunday morning kick and rush. Cardiff came to Elland Road parked the bus for a point and ended up stealing 3. We deserved a draw at best.

Right I think its time us Leeds fans became UNITED once again, no more negativity, no more player abuse (Habibou and Varney spring to mind), no more manager abuse, let them get on with it, support the team and maybe just maybe this will have a positive effect on the club both on and off the field. We don't need so called 'supporters of the club' who think they know best because back in 2010 they got Leeds promotoed on Footy Manager, no, we need the real fans to come back and support the club, how it was supported when we were back in the premier league. Another thing, if we bring in a player, please can we at least give them a chance? MOT SussexLeeds

Not prepared to settle
It's the same now as last week. Last monh and last year
Half team us crap
Manager is crap
I like good football, winning and success
Not boring same old same old same old
Under achievers. Never

Agree5 Disagree12

And you are probably a crap supporter, things won't happen over night, after the last decade of nothing but debt, selling off all our assets, it will take time to build that up again you do not get a tower to stand strong by building from the top down, be patient and the good times will eventually come back.

Op here. You settle for same old crap and think next week month year will be different
I prefer actions rather than expectations
I prefer reality rather than dreaming
I like to win. Not lose badly and regularly

Agree4 Disagree0

You are the one that's boring on and on and on negative negative negative all the while, six results at home out of the last seven and if decisions had gone our way would be seven out of seven unbeaten at home, if we are not good enough for you or you expect miracles to happen over night go support Manchester United it's took them 30 years to get where they are 750 million quid in debt to.

The only reason Habibou has some popularity is, and I don't quite understand it, because he has a funny catchy name. If Gary Megson was our manager and he was named Gary Wallywallydoodle and he signed a carthorse named Hali Brocolliballoonstar, all you people would be expecting promotion just on those names. Believe me, Habibou is nothing now, and will never be good enough to get in the Leeds reserves. Its just a catchy name FFS!!!!!!

did you watch england last night?. weell england of old and usual remind me of leeds now. pedestrian midfield, no pace, boring.
but roy woke up and played a pacy team. wiltshire runs forward all the time, johnson, rooney, walcott, welbeck.
england looked a diff team and actually decent to watch for once. and won. ok its a friendly.
but neil you know what we need, why didn't you get it?
i nkow you tried with burke but you would have got the 250k you wouldn't pay 1000 fold if it made the diff.
if we don't get at least 4 points from next 2 games then we must concentrate on next season. shrew leeds

Believable13 Unbelievable0

Absolute agree with your comparison, you hit it spot on. How refreshing was it to see England play like that and how refreshing would it be lot see Leeds play like that (albeit at a much lower level of skill). Nowadays I feel excited if we make a 4 or 5 pass move on the odd occasion during the game. Once a Leeds fan always a Leeds fan which is a good job because if it was not in the blood the 19,000 would be 9,000 nowadays.

Look on the bright side lads
There are lots of fans o. Here who admire gfh and the money they have Invested in the team, they particularly appreciate the communication between them and the fans. They see their judgement of warnock being the best man for the job as a sound footballing decision.
These fans love watching leeds play and enjoy all the goals they see. Regardless of what end it goes in. They just enjoy being in a crowd and pretend to have friends.
They are impressed with the signings that are made because warnock has signed them so they must be good.
They are baffled that warnock has lost more games than Grayson and put that down to darn bad luck all the time.
Finally. They expect things to get better next week. Without changing a thing. What a wonderful world you live in lads

Believable5 Unbelievable13

There are also them fans that cannot see past the next weekend and exspect GFH to come in wave a magic wand buy every big hitter at the first asking.
Produs a barcelona class team that will not only fire us into the prem but also be good enough to go on to win the league and also become European champions all with in two fecking months and if they don, t then there a pile of shxt and are not to be trusted

Agree5 Disagree0

Sorry to be negative here, but they haven't invested in the team, the money for new players came from the sale of Snodgrass and Becchio?

They may have invested in the club as such, but the money they paid for that has gone straight into Bate's pocket - somethings never change.

Agree2 Disagree5

Are fans need to start realising that bates sold snodgrass pocketed all the money and then gfh bought the club from him as for becchio we never really recieved that much for him as it was a swap deal
