I hate to bad mouth ex players but Ross has got on my nerves with his comments. Sick of some people thinking they are some kind of messiah, saying he was forced out and told to hand in a transfer request. It's utter nonsense, trying to get sympathy saying he was happy but in the same sentence saying he didn't like what was going on at the club. Who does he think he is? I for one appreciate the contribution but he gets paid enough money for it. Players get paid to play and that's it, whoever the manager or owner just play football and keep your mouth shut and count your lucky stars that you play for Leeds United. This player power nonsense needs to stop and in Cellino it's going to. And that's why he's in a hump because Cellino treat him like any other player. We got 11 million and he swapped clubs heading in opposite directions, rant over.

Well said Vinny
A true professional would keep his mouth shut, but that he aint. All sorts of stuff goes on behind closed doors and that's where it should stay. Just shown his true colour, and it isn't white 1

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice vinny well said if people only knew the REAL reason MCCormack left they would see a different Ross ;(

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice tackle Vinny. Its devious that he let's the dust settle then has the last word in a two page spread. Sticks and stones Ross, move on son, we all have, such vitriole only questions your character

Ross left because he was big headed one good season and though he was something special, which he was for last season. He knew he was not going to be cop idol this year and left for the money. He thought he was spokesman for the team and he was not. He had a new contract all he had to do was play football he did not want to.No one made him put in a transfer request, Fulham were interested and he was told if you want to go put in a request, he did. How many of us think he would be an automatic choice now we have Antenucci, Doukara, Sharp, Montenegro, because I think he would struggle to get in the team. let's see what he does at Fulham.

Agree0 Disagree0

Coulbn't agree with you more vinny. We are over moneybags ross, seems he's not over leeds though. He doesn't love leeds at all, i've seen video footage and photo's of him talking to hockaday durring training, so when he says he was told not to train, HE'S LYING

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers lads, in all honesty he lost my respect when he was live on tv. He said I would of gone if I knew Mcdermott would be sacked, what about your contract!

Agree0 Disagree0

Vinny
You ever thought McDermott might have been dumping Ross's rubbish for him lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to stick up for ross slightly (only sliightly) ross was at leeds and not doing great in come McD and ross lit up the league and was playing out of his skin. all jobs are about relationships but guess football maybe more so. if at a job you lose a boss you like and at a later point get in a boss you hate (hock) you might change compaines. also I believe ross wanted to get prem football with leeds, when that looked unlikey he took a more promising option which hasn't panned out. but can't blame him for leaving leeds it has been bit of a circus and when he did finally go we had worse manager in the league on paper in the hock he was clearly clueless. if ross I would of done the same. as for badge kissing I think he loved the club but as people do you fall out of love . I use to kiss my mrs now I try and avoid it

Agree0 Disagree0

B
Dont forget he tried to leave in Jan but it got blocked!
Ross had troubles mate and if you dig deep enough its NOT hard to find out what they were but I wish him well in his future career.
Pity he had to come out and say the things he did, no need for it IMO.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree it was not right for him to come out and say what he said, he has always been to vocal on twitter etc. not sure how certain we can be that he wanted out in jan he did say he didn't want to go and might of changed mind when mcd got sacked which again I can kind of understand. not saying he is right but I wish him no harm and grateful for his service to the club

Innit boring when there's no match on a Saturday?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Second that SpeedyG

Agree0 Disagree0

If I'm bored and you are bored, is anyone else bored

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course we do have the new 'coach' betting odds to amuse us. Both Gary McAllister and Steve Clarke have been hot favourites at different times today. Some people must have money to burn lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I would like to freeze myself monday to friday.

McBadgeKisser speak with forked tongue. It's a good sign though. Question the timing. Why is he speaking drivel now? Because he knows the recent acquisitions we made are good and he jealous. Enjoy league 1 with ladder boy.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Spot on George. It's not his fault that he refused to go to the training camp, it's not his fault that he has started the season extremely unfit, it's not his fault that he jumped ship when Fulham threw wedge at him. He had a great season last year but he was more than rewarded by getting a regular contract improvement and some fans thought he was a god. True colours shown McCormack, you can't buy class

Agree0 Disagree0

Well regardless how much of what he says is true, he was definitely inviting offers in his tv interview in the last couple of hours of the January transfer window. So we got 8 or 9 million more for him than we would have got then, and he kept us up probably. So thank you, and goodbye. Next!

His latest rant is intriguing, on one hand he says he was happy to spend the rest of his career at ER, then goes on to say that he was told he could leave if he wanted, but would have to put in a transfer request.which we all know he did. Hmmmm the contradiction that is Ross McCormack!

How old are you Jack Gaughan from the daily snail? 12? The 'car crash that is Leeds United'? Very original and very untrue.

Hunt has squad number 10 WTF

Believable0 Unbelievable0

White #11 as well.

Surely Antenucci should be 10, Billy Sharp 9, Adyran, 8 and Doukara 11

Why are people obsessed with shirt numbers? In these days of squad numbers it realy don't matter, most players like to keep the same number when they move clubs if possible. Don't think the No.10 will be making many appearances on our team sheet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Cockney, its just a number and means absolutely nothing .

Ross McCormack is a very bitter man. Was it Cellino who handed in a transfer request and put your house on the market while you were still at the club? We've moved on from you money grabber and I hope you enjoy League 1.

You took the words out of my mouth. He took the biscuit when he said he was happy and so was my missus and little boy. He forced a transfer! Who is he trying to get sympathy from?

You Have To Be This Tall To Ride
Well guys an gals, the rollercoaster continues at breakneck speed. The players didn't like The Hock, the players did like The Hock! I guess the younger players did not really get him, as rumoured with Sam, also our new recruits probably the same. Ross issues a braodside from his new penthouse on The Kings Road. The queue for the vacant coaching position is longer than those seen at a soup kitchen in the Great Depression, persons approaced/not approached have turned down/not been offered the job! Massimo has gone away leaving Leeds on Auto Redders Pilot. Man, it must be boring supportng a "normal" team. This plot is thicker than Benny from Crossroads. MOT siblings

First time poster, seems how everyone has been giving their two bobs worth on songs for the new recruits I thought I would give it a stab.

Sung in the tune of an Army marching cadence (we have been called the Leeds army by Massimo and our Keepers wear cammo so why not. )

"Massimo says that we're the Leeds Army. So Let us sing you a song or three."

"Adryan now that boy has class, leaves most defenders flat on their arse, When the came calling he did not care, so now he's at Leeds with Brazilian Flair."

"Soulymane Doukara is a flier from France, when he passes defenders he makes them look pants, He's strong, fleet & skillful to boot & now all he needs is more chances to shoot."

"Billy Sharp was more often our foe, but against Middleborough he was the star of the show. When he lifted his shirt to celebrate the score, the fat lad from Sheffield was not fat no more."

I haven't thought about any others yet just thought I would put them out there and see how these went.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Was meant to be when Man U came calling for the Adryan verse.
