Center Half's? Well we don't have any anyway ha ha

See Bamber rated in the top 5 defenders so far in championship so we can't complain too much about him, Cooper OK so really we do need another back up here.

No point just bring in loan people (unless really really good and fit i.e Buckley needs a fair few games to get up to speed on his first showing) , won't make much difference until Uwe sorts out a home system of playing, we need confidence and a plan B for sure.

Im not in the sack the manager camp yet (if don't do much in next 3-4 games then hard to see him staying mind) but why would you start Buckley when it must have been clear in training the guy just wasn't ready, bit like the why start Bell end Bellusci the other week, he can't keep making these calls and getting them so wrong.

He has got 2 weeks now to sort it you would hope (pray?) cause the squad looks pretty good for the league, should be able to hold their own so he needs to make the most of what he has got, that is his job.

New poster over from the team talk page which is closed down! (would be nice to get the other posters from there on here as well). Lets not start panicking after a few defeats it is work in progress, we still need to move on a few players who are not up to it and bring in 4 or 5 quality players to the squad.

We will not achieve anything with continual upheaval and changing the manager when a few results don't go our way. We are trying to accommodate too many young players in the midfield and this is causing a problem with the balance in the team. 4-4-2 for me with one winger on the left side with Byram Adeyemi and cook the other 3 in midfield and let's get a settled first choice 11. Then we can give the others Philips Mowatt and Murphy a game.

Welcome PA! With regards to Rosler I agree that now is not the time to panic however he is running short of goodwill. It is important for Rosler to be flexible with his playing style, which in part, may mean going against his own footballing principles in order to win games. The slow build up with many sideways and backwards passes may need to revert to a more direct (not long ball) style. The rigid 4-3-3 system (which is really a 4-5-1) may have to change to a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 so that we are committing more players forward. The shackles may need to be released off Cook to allow him to express himself (as he did against Derby). Players who are not performing consistently need to be put under pressure by squad players who have a genuine chance of competing for a starting spot. Rosler made comments on the radio after the Birmingham game that things need to change, however that change must start with him. It takes a big man to admit that things are not right however actions now speak louder than words

We have wanted 2 3 4 or 5 new players every transfer window for 10 years. So. Yeah. Panic!

Agree with Notts our 4-3-3 is more like a 4-5-1. with the players being picked. Our midfield is not that young 18/19 is young, 22 is not young in football. Would play Botaka on right ahead of Byram Would put Phillips in Mowatts midfield slot. At some point we need to try Erwin out. If we are playing with 3 up front should imo be that, but at the moment two strikers? are in midfield most of time. My front 3 would be Wood Ant and Botaka, Erwin sub. Buckley/Dallas sub. Midfield Cook, Phillips, Ady, Mowatt sub, Murphy sub, Back four Byram/Berardi, Bamba, Cooper, Taylor,

Notts

Great post as usual from you. Here's the concern I have. I'm not even sure Rosler knows how to play a 442. That is the way to go but I'm not convinced Rosler knows what he is doing there either.

welcome PA, I am not sure about needing that many new players, I think we have a great 1st 11 and good bench. I think we need one good centre half a rb if sb goes and a good manager. I don't agree about constant upheaval it has not done watford too much harm. It is great to have stablity but only if the right guy is in charge. no point keeping a manager unless he can take a team forward. I don't think uwe is a bad manager but I don't think he can take us up either so why waste time? the right manager makes the difference. Pardew is the best exmaple of this at the moment. find the right manager then we need stablity and not before. I would happily have a new manager every three months if it means we got the right guy in the end and the right guy would get this sqaud up. Remember time is not something we have, we need to be up in this season or next otherwise our young gems will leave and we will be going backwards not forwards, espically if the wrong manager is replacing our gems with duds

Bring in 3 months probation into football. Let them live in the real world
UWE starts working for a notorious hatchet man
UWE is pleasantly surprised that said hatchet man has reformed
Said hatchet man spends more than ever before filling the gaps uwe has complained about
Said hatchet man is confused. UWE hasn't got the best out of his talented players or the players he asked for and hasn't delivered the type and style of football he promised.
Said hatchet man thinks. The goalkeeper is too comfortable as number 1 and not trying to improve.
The capable first choice defensive line are wary of dodgy number 1 and makes them nervous and they play negative keep ball football. The huge array of talented midfielders don't get the ball often and are afraid to commit to attack cause the dodgy defenders need help. They are a bit confused by uwes tactics and strange accent. They also generally only have one striker to pick out so run up and down the field chasing the ball half the time. The strikers have goals in them but are nervous cause they only ever get one or two decent passes per game and don't want to fluff their lines. Said hatchet man also thinks there are a number of players out of form that just keep getting picked. Said hatchet man is confused cause UWE hasn't delivered what he promised despite lots of help. The fans are getting impatient and are talking about maybe needing a new manager. Said hatchet man is reformed but is fighting inner demons! what should he do?

Now someone definitely has hacked your account.

That post is too good.

Things have improved though. Even though we were living in lala land before, at least reality has set in and at least Cellino acquired some better players. All that remains now are a few tweaks in management, formation, tactics and personnel and we good. Sounds a lot and people will think I'm sarcastic but I'm not. 442 and a better spine would take us a long way but I don't see those monies being spent til next summer. In the meantime what do we do with Rosler?

Sack him before it's too late!
IMO we have the best squad we have had for a while and I think the players either don't understand or don't want to play the way Rosler wants.

agree in any job you have to deliver, football management is full of presure but unlike real world you can do a bad job and be forgiven and forgotten (if steve mclaren was a admin manager he would never work again not be rewarded with massive jobs when he is clearly very very poor). some fans are blaming the players. I agree they could be playing better but everything always falls at the managers door. if we got pardew or someone like that fans would be confident of getting better results with the same players, that is why it is the managers fault he is resonsible for results and player perfomances. I was happy to give uwe a chance but things have stayed the same. the definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting different reults therefore keeping uwe is madness he has had long enough now to show us something different. my only fear is we end up with steve mcclown which will see me start up a genuine bring back the hock campagin. personally I would love grayson back let him finish what he started but don't think that would happen

Georgey boy with out wishing to sound sarcastic myself, you should apply for Pearson's old job. You seem to have convinced yourself what is needed. And according to your post above it is quite a lot.

I could do Pearson job. Cellino needs to be told what's up.
