Is it me or has it all gone really quiet
Nothings happening, no investment or takeover talk, no sign AT ALL of any players coming in or even LEAVING.
Apart from Ben Parker.
We normally hear something, but his is getting really disconserting. You have clubs like Palace & Posh, signing players left, right & centre, and you've got us, doing f*** all!!!!

Chill out mate all will start moving again when Warnock is back from his hols, investment, takeover and transfers and of course new away shirt so just hold in just a few more days

Ben parkers contract was terminated by mutual consent weeks ago along with mika vayrynen

Ed, when do you think we can realistically expect to hear something about the takeover? as I don't think Warnock will want it dragging on for too long {Ed013's Note - My opinion is early next week once he has all the up to date details after his hols}

Let's hope next week things start to happen at ER as in takeover/investment news.

just been up at lisburn city and seen the olympic torch and it inspired everyone who was there even tho it was raining heavy and i thought im lookin forward to the new season ahead just wish all th e talk about this takeover was sorted so all leeds fans can be inspired and look forward to the big season in front off us leeds fans weve waited long enough for success mot

Just to inform everyone, earlier when 'Warnock whites' posted about the takeover had 'fallen through', this is utter lies and I am 'WARnock's Whites' so please don't mistake me for him as he is trying to ruin my reputation on this site.

Niel Warnock had to go on holiday just as the investment talks started to catch in the news. We need him back just for him to tell us Wat the hell is going off in captain birdseyes world and at ellend road. We need to know. Come back niel quick!! MOT!!!

Investment or not, NW will have money to spend. Soon as he got here he said that we needed new players so he would of walked by now. I really hope KB sells up to some mega rich invester but either way the quality of our football cant be much worse than last season. Jason Pearce on his own improves us by about 25%. I am looking forward to the lees pearce partnership. New striker and two new mids we will be set. MOT. VINNY.

But the sale of clayton , mccormack probably snodgrass and with white more than likely to move on we are now worse than we ever have been in the whole of the history of leeds united . pearce doesn't make up for all these players . if we dont get taken over there will be only half of the money from the sales of these players re invested into the team in the summer and the rest will be kept in case we need it in January .

We probably lost better players in the last pre-season (Johnson, Kilkenny) than we will this year. The problem is that we didn't replace those 2 last year(hence the dismal season) and so to lose another 2 or 3 decent players becomes a massive problem in that we are now looking for 4or5 good players to improve the team without the funds to do it with.

If we lose the 11 freed or transfer listed plus those who haven't signed their new contract offer we will need about 15. How long will that take to gel?

The under-19's don't need time to gel.

Yea everyone is rushing to buy tickets are'nt they. NOT. Do you think fans are thick or something.

Well Bates are called us mindless and ignorant in the past so why not try this ploy to make us thickos buy season tickets ...

Watt a silly post,It's like saying I have a feeling I'm gona win the lottery,and then spending all my life savings.No way is it a smoke screen.with Ticket sales down bates has realised the pot is running dry.The worst think bates did,(the best for us) was appoint Warnock a man with balls.He will tell all if he lies and cuts him short.Where will bates be then? Mass protests boycotts riots even.something has to give and accepting watts been going on for a while now,best players sold no money spent on team,and we just keep paying our money.no way them days are over,the person fight back is on bates out!!

investment! dont make me laugh. this is a classic smokescreen, 2 month of rumour, no quality signings,better players leave then club blame uncertainty. and we return to league one

I concure with your way of thinking. We need a date drawn in blood of when this Deal will be concluded or not...If it is a deal at all. I suspect KB will say 30th June!!!

Why do people enter such tosh. just stop wasting your own time, we are only 6th June, I am fed up of saying this but we are very early everyone is on holiday, wan rock isn't going anywhere, not sure about all this takeover talk (investment)but i think we are in good hands, bates will give warnock money. warnock is not the type of person to take his crap, and ward not signing i personally think warnock didn't want him enough.

People will be saying its only the 26th of july if they dont take there heads out of there arses . we will sign the pants players that are left over at the last minute .we are going to become the worst team in our league if something doesnt happen soon. you don't sell the best players first or you end up with crap all the way through the squad instead of quality . i hope im wrong and we start to bring players in of good quality but cant see it without a good takeover.i will give the benefit of the doubt to bates and his merry band until the beginning of the season . i predict more Bates out marching .

i know this is a rumour site so we cant stop some of the rubbish on here.fact is,nobody really knows what is going on,who is investing or buying.what money it will or will not generate.one things for sure without either a major investment or a takeover leeds will not be where they belong for many years to come.no im not saying we need huge millions to get up and buy the championship.just enough to invest in decent players that warnock thinks will give us a great chance.if we cant afford ward then without money we are going to struggle whoever the manager is.the good news is that everyone at leeds is quiet.snodgrass is quiet,warnock is quiet.these people will know the truth.im optimistic we will be ok,keep snodgrass,get the likes of dj campbell and beckford and give it a damn good go.
you have to give bates a bit of credit,he came up with the money when we were in dire need,but he let himself down with constant promises of finances for the team that he clearly never had..shrew leeds

You know what Bates & Co are like - secrecy all the way, every transfer in and out has allways been for an undisclosed fee, thought to be in the region of...' There will be nowt but drivel on the OS;,half price in Flamingo Land and Tom Lees excitement about this and that next year. But the exciting thing is, soon we will get an announcement and then things start rolling ! England, Euros, Takeover, Transfer Funds, Quality Purchases ! At last my patient friends, we've waited so long, we're very close to getting everything we want !
