Theres a 16 year old called Kubo with fc Tokyo who spent 4 years learning his trade at Barcelona. But then again Asia is massive so it could a player from anywhere, Australia, Iran who knows. Thought of Kubo as he was in Spain and now back in Asia and supposed to be talented.

Ekuban out until November. that's pretty much his season over imo. when players are out for that long they never seem to get back up to speed in the same season.

Should be back and fit by the end of Jan in my opinion, but his challenge will be to get back near the squad. Big shame, because he looked promising.

Surprisingly Ledley is still a free agent. Would definitely work wonders in our midfield. Also what about Guisseppe Rossi. He is still a free agent and I read somewhere that he is training with Leeds United. Also what about Jan Kirchhoff. He was Sunderlands only bright spark last year and was released in the summer.

After the recent Orta Q&A, he said something interesting about our new boy Lasogga, he said he is premier league quality, if this is true, can anyone shed light on who he is matched with from the premiership in ability.

I don't know enough about Lasogga to be able to make any comparisons, Del, but based on transfers so far, I do believe what Orta says! He obviously knows a lot more than me!

He's a similar player to Wilfred bony, just not as skilful, more eye for goal kind of player and willing to do the dirty work

Ditto. I normally do but haven't after last season being blamed by people on here. They've shamed me into steering well clear. Had Leeds to finish top 6, this year I think it's a given but not tempting fate

Well boys and girls, this time last season we were all left wondering how long Monk would keep his job after a not to good start under MC! Well how times change, now look at us, great start, great recruitment and a back room team to die for! So where do we see ourselves by the next international bore! Me personally and everyone's opinion differs, I think that Wolves will be up there but will be struggling if one of their big signings gets injured. Sunderland I fancy will be up there and Leeds will be to, I can't see Cardiff and Sheff Utd lasting. I feel Sheff Wed and Fulham have got play off hang overs and Hull and Boro although spending a lot will find it harder with the weight of expectation on their shoulders, but the most pleasing bit is Leeds haven't even got going yet, TC doesn't know his best 11 and that's because of all the competition for places! We now have plan A, B, and C, so for me we can move on and maybe just maybe like we have all been dreaming, we become the runaway leaders! MOT

I don't think Wolves will be up there, from what I've seen and heard they're a "Plan A" only team. They even lost, at home, to Cardiff ! !
