The one thing that this "Takeover" has allowed for is the following of Mr Bates movements. So far this season he has generally been back in the UK a few days before each home game. If this is true it's more likely a deal can happen with him here as his lawyers and GFH's are based in the UK. But who knows anymore, it just goes on and on.

Four matches unbeaten, played the hardest teams in the championship with a squad thread bare costing a fraction in comparison to others. I posted before determination can beat skill and the lads are proving exactly that. I'm looking forward to Saturday so glad I got my season ticket, it's a derby when the ground should be full, and if I had one wish other than the usual it would be that there wasn't one empty seat at Elland road and the place would be jumping......I can dream.

At last there seems to be a bit of belief about the team. now lets galvanise as 1 and unite and support the boys on sat forget whats going on behind the scenes. we might be getting took over, but that might not happen till new year, we need as many points in the bag by then, so when takeover happens we are in a position to push on.

Don't kid yourselves Leeds fans.

EHD is on his last contract of his career and we have no more money for a pay increase for him (unless TO goes through = unlikely)

His contract expires in January. Believe me, he will be on his way.

Lesson for Neil Warnock there is: don't big him up ridiculously, make him captain, and advertise the fact he is our lowest paid player when his contract expires in 3 months time.

I wouldn't dream of teaching any lessons to Neil Warnock. I think El Hadji Diouf will stay put - as I already posted his heart will rule his head :)

Maybe this was the deal he agreed with Diouf before he signed his contract. If you remember right when he offered Snodgrass the new contract he said "sign the contract and if we are not performing well enough to get promoted then I will get you your move to the Premiership in January"

Maybe Neil agreed with Diouf that because he had gone all preseaon without interest from Premier League teams, come play for Leeds on the most we can afford to pay (peanuts) we will tell everyone that you turned down big money contracts from abroad to get the fans on your side, I will make you captain to get you in the spot light, Then you go out and perform like we all know you can and they will come sniffing in January when you will be free to leave.

I just hope that EHD between now and January feels at home at Leeds and decides to stay and help us get promoted. The fans have been great with him, he is on top form and scoring goals - maybe the move to Prem will not work out and he has ruined his final few seasons before deciding to retire.

EHD or is agent has not said it is about money, it may be about the length of contract, whether or not anyone believes Leeds United is a big club anymore there are few places in the world where he can get to perform in front of the size of crowd and passion that he will at ER, i believe if the length of contract is right he will be happy to stay.

Diouf was only on about 3 k pw so we could offer him alot more than that . he is supposed to be happy at leeds .he took the low wage to get the chance to play and will now be looking for 8 k pw

GFH are to buy 100% of Leeds United and they are the buyers and not the front for a consortium. It's also said that Papa Smurf will not stay in a consultancy role, he will be severing all ties with the club if/when deal goes through.

They are buying 100% of leeds city which includes bates 72% but who as the other 28% surely they have to also buy there shares aswell so that could be slowing things down unless they buy 100% bates leaves and they get to keep there 28% in the club

Fellow fans, please! stop all the scare mongering over what GFH have or have not. If they did only have 5 million in the bank and that was it, then why would Bates be still in talks. This tells me theres a bigger picture going on behind the curtains. I've never thought for one minute GFH are the main buyers. I do think they are the ones that are going to run the show, once everything has gone through. There the type of company that will help LUFC grow on and off the pitch.
Once the takeover has gone through, we will know who is involved and how far they want to take us. People are forgetting that even the people that work GFH are mega rich. Just to name one, Salem Patel worth around 9.5 billion. So lets be positive and forward thinking. At the end of the day, we are fishing in the right river for a big catch.
Also remember we've got the one and only Sgt Warnock and with him anything is possible. It's the right manager at the right club. I would call that a match made in heaven.
Now my fellow fans, we've dealt with one revenge in the name of Forest. Now lets get behind the team for are second conquest. We really do need to put are Yorkshire side kick to the dogs.

yes we are playing pretty well but we are still threadbare in that area.

suppose forest aren't doing to well come January, Lewis McGugan (Forest) will be attracting a lot of attention from championship top 6 or premiership clubs. we should sign him up on our new wage budget we should have in place by then!

EHD may be on his way out if a prem club stumps up the money, would love to think he would turn it all down for LUFC as he wont find better support than ER... As a club we love a bad lad who leaves everthing out on the pitch for his teammates and fans, our respect has been earnt and he appreciates it as shown against Everton when he applauded our fans whilst he was still playing
