well I will be one of first to say billy scored but his effort in first half was a joke in area but no power that should of been a goal but over all great . Charlie looked good out wide pity it's all a little to late we should be in top six but should have good finish to season wigan Saturday they beat Norwich but I think we'll win 2-1
well done LEEDS

It seems like Redfern is learning. This time his substitution changed the game. Maybe he does have a plan B.
Now we are definitely not going down hopefully Redfern will tell the players to go out and play for fun for the rest of the season and also give some of the other youngsters a go to see if they've got what it takes.
On a sour note what was Mowatt doing kicking the ball straight into the net. Very bad technique not playing for his usual deflection off an opposition player to score. Very poor! :)

Now Cooper is playing tonight I for one am delighted I'm not wasting my time tonight.
Wish the team all the best but I can't see it happening.

Just got home from the game, Cooper played his part tonight in a solid back four, as a whole the team played very well against a well organised Ipswich. MOT.

Confident about tonight, Bellusci in holding role strengthens midfield and defence. Sharp up front an improvement. Wooton not a full back though. Would realy like to see Adryan on linking with Sharp or even Montenegro who I think would score goals if given a run. Look solid enough though so no excuses if we don't win Reckon 2-1 to us Sharp and Mowatt

For Heavens sake Do Not Recruit when in a corner.
Lets not start dreaming even if we win tonight and/or Saturday. We have a big enough squad to ensure a safe mid table finish. To go up this year by any fluke would be a kamikaze mission and doomed to failure ( yes I appreciate the para payment).
Trudging home from ER on the back of another wupping. It would make me suicidal what would it do to the young lads in the team? Much rather consolidate, buy wisely, regroup and give it a go next year. Taking the league by storm.
This scenario would also make (or break) Redders I personally hope it makes him.

Don't think anyone still thinks top 6 is a possibility. let's just stay well clear of relegation and aim for 10th to 12th, and then start planning and trying some variations

Just a thought. At saturdays game in second half I saw Redders write two notes and pass these onto the pitch to be read by Murphy. No kidding. I have never ever seen this before. What next carrier pigeons?

Anyone know why the Leeds Fan Group LLP are so desperate to seek talks with Russel Crowe?
For once in ten years we have some stability, we are not in the news this week (I don't think so anyway), we are not for sale, we have an owner that is worth 12 times more than Crowe. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy and what he has done for his rugby team, but small fry rugby league and Leeds United in the Championship are two different things.
This Dylan Thwaites needs to wind his neck in and run a fans group that nobody I know is a member of.
It ain't broken at the moment, so don't try and fix it! Unless you are after Galdiator Cheerleaders?????

It ain't broke! Are you joking?
Cellino will never be an effective and long term owner.

I don't give a stuff if Russell Crowe invests or not, but if the fans can get a small foothold in the boardroom by buying some of GFH's stake, then I am all for that.

I cannot see see getting a win tonight although I will be there.Bellusci back instead of Cooper will be a plus but Austin out is a big minus. The young lads are doing well but that many in a team against Ipswich will be a bridge too far particularly if they score first or start putting pressure on. Without Austin we have no power, drive or strength in the middle and because the lads want to push forward there is often space between the midfield and back four and that where we are vulnerable. Add to that Wooton is very ponderous. Getting in the way and slowing down opposition attacks is the best he can so defensively at one level ok but clearly he is an average at best centre back playing at full back. Not one for the future although for whatever reason he has been given a contract extension. We will see. I still don't think relegation is out of the question. Would like us to beat Wigan on Saturday but that's no gimme either.

You may be right Hessian, but I feel quite positive about tonight. I think they will be trying extra hard after the debacle last Saturday. I do think Wigan will be very tricky. But I think we need another 10 points or so to relax

We struggle against pace, both Brighton and Watford have it and we lost, Ipswich don't have natural pace so I think we ill fair better and good for something out of the game.

Austin is a loss for sure, Sloth will come in you would think but so far for me he hasn't done anything much and he has had a few games now. Same applies to Adryan, want him to do well but I can't see it in him.

Wootton has done a decent job since coming back from rotherham, not the long term answer I agree but can do a job so worth in the squad.

I think the Umbers comment shows us that MC ain't going to sign off anything now until he closes his case with the FL one way or the other, if not sorted by summer then for sure it will hurt us moving forward, I can see that.

I just looking forward to my pie tonight, feel a bit nervous bout game and I'm a positive type, team selection will be interesting!

I'm going for 2-1 to us but we could lose 2-0 as well, god i'm turning into smitch

Of course I'm dreaming. But OK, I'll hold up my hands - I LOVE Billy Sharp, love his attitude, love that he's desperate to play every game and love that he sulks when he isn't picked. We have 12 games left and if it was me, I would start him in every one of those to see what he can do. Because so far he has been judged on a few minutes here and there, and games when he has had no service.
I realise I'm probably a lone voice on this topic.

Agree1 Disagree1

04 Mar 2015 12:38:18
I'm happy Sharp is going to be given a chance. People moan that he doesn't score but he's only started 10 games & I would question how many of those he was played out wide.
I spoke with a mate a couple of weeks back who watched him a lot at Doncaster & he insisted Sharp did & can play up front on his own.
Give him his chance I say.

P.S. Course I love you Smitch :)
