I'm not claiming to be a tactical whizz kid but I would like to see Shaugnessy in a holding midfield position as he has impressed me. The defence is getting swamped away from home against physical teams as our mid fielders are not aggressive enough. He would add some steel and defensive cover which is badly needed. TC is learning about the Championship on the fly but I think he is smart enough to realise we need some bite in midfield. Hoping for some improvement in the next few fixtures MOT.

Would you not rather have viera, we know he can compete and won't shirk a tackle?

Vieria definitely gets stuck in but he needs to do a lot of work on his passing - his song is kind of ironic as he gives it away a lot!

Been reading the posts and see all the FIFA managers are putting things right. My CV is not that good but here goes my slant at things. Last few games defence has struggled. Felix typical continental punches everything and can't seem to catch a ball. Ayling excellent when we are on the front foot but i would prefer Berardi to start against more physical aggresive teams. Pontus seems to be not fully fit to me. Left back is still hobsons choice still say that position should have been priority in summer. Midfield is hit and miss at times. Phillips can't play 3 games a week, two day break no good for him so does need rotating with Viera regularly. Pablo goes missing too much so would use himm as sub and bring on later in game. Roofe not really a midfielder more a left sided attacker. Alioski and Klich a lot to learn yet. Good thing is its early days, Squad and coaches only 2 month in to what is a completely new experience for most of them. Think we have enough quality to stay at top of table, which 3 years ago was a pipe dream. If all CB are fit Nessy gives another option in midfield. Think TC will catch on quick but i think we still need to add to squad. Shame Ekuban got injured so early he looked promising.

Alioski would be better as a left back than wide right player, Would give us balance and he's played there for his country, beradi gives his all but is struggling a tad for me this season

My main complaint of Alioski is that he gets pushed off the ball too easily. Highly annoying attacking on the wing but downright dangerous in the full back role.

Think left wing is his best position but he needs to get a bit savvy because he won't get a free kick in this league unless he flies through the air and lands on his face. So he needs to add that bit of steel to his game.

Thing is we should not be playing people out of position this early. Berardi is a right back we should have signed a proper left back in summer.
