i believe ken bates has single handed drained the life out of the club.
to start with he removed the one thing thousands relied on 'radio coverage' many people can't afford to go to games or buy dab radios or computers so the many fans who listen to the match now do other things, or worse still follow other teams, the younger end have no idea whats happening at e.r. so have no interest. the fans of the future are lost.
he priced thousands out of attending games with two relegation's and two price hikes in the cost of season tickets and justified this by saying 'if you want prem. football you pay prem prices.'
early renewal dates with the hope of buying players that never happened.
he sold our best players on a regular basis while building his folly of a stand.
he made following the club so expensive that many simply could not affordto keep going.
he regularly insults fans and credits those who voice an opinion as trouble makers.
he has the fans at each others throats while he sits back and milks the club dry.
he has no affiliation or love of l.u.
he bullies anybody and everybody who he feels fit to.
he made the financial side of the club so tied up it is almost impossible to follow.
he mortgaged our assets (players and future income from season tickets)
mark my words he will sell the club because he has to and will make a final gesture ( v ) to us all by walking away with £52m for doing nothing for our club.

Who ever disagrees with this post is insane . if your happy with relegation to the first division , 25 points deducted and the soul ripped out of the club you cant be a leeds fan

A tip for anyone who thinks DAB radios are expensive get down to your four letter Leeds supermarket you can get one for £8.

I would have gone the line of he's wasted millions on creating Yorkshire Radio because he wanted too much for the rights.

Thats how bad he was, Sheff wed didn't want and they were the first club he tryed to buy. If he came to save us and not leech off us. Then why wasn't we his first choice because he was looking fior a meal ticket and they saw him coming. He's done nothing but squeeze the life out of are once great club. 4-5 million wasted on court actions. Just imagine what sort of team we would of had, had that money been put towards the playing end of LUFC. The man has the cheek to call all the fans who voice an appinion, "MORONS". The truth is, the grimreeper never took so much from one spot.

Lufc-bob i am the original poster.
i have shopped at a**a for many years and i can assure you when bates created yorks. radio the cheapest dab radio i could find either in shops or on line was £95 i also bought my mother who is now in her eighties one so she could keep in touch with l.u.
i still to this day have never seen a dab for £8
sorry pal. i think we have the same views on bates ? but i can't accept that his radio station is affordable by all.

Did warnock only sign a 1 season/year contract? If so it might be because bates knew he was gonna sell. Warnock needs at least another season to get players and mould a strong consistent team. Cum on warnock you know u want to! {Ed013's Note - He has a rolling contract}

The date we play Leicester City at home. But also the first anniversary of Gary Speeds passing.

Im sure it will be another emotional night - be fantastic if we could top 30,000 for this one, but not sure given its a midweek game. Hopefully Bates will have left us by then and the masses will return.

Becchio scores which I can't complain about but he has the worst touch ever. He tries to hold it up and doesn't seem to be strong enough then under pressure he losses it.. Not slating him and saying he's the problem. I wasn't there last night but do you think if Varney was becchio he would have had many chances or would we as a team played as well. Not trying to say he's bad just wanna know if what becchio does sometimes hinders us as a team?

I cant help thinking warnock is putting more emphasis on this cup run than he is on the league form. His interview after the match quote, "we were well up for it tonight." and all this win it for my daughter nonsense.Should'nt he be getting the "team up for it" against charlton,birmingham etcc... instead. At the end of the season will we all be happy with a last eight of the cup and a mid table finish. No we wont.

Have to agree with this. Was a great night last night but why didn't we have the same tempo against Charlton and Birmingham....hopefully we can carry if forward to Brighton. I like Warnock but he loves the spot light and all the hype that a cup run brings.

Just for once can you stop moaning and enjoy the win! What the hell is wrong with
some of the people who post on here.

A winning streak is great for morale. Knocking out supposedly superior opponents in the process doubly so. And don't forget how our time of ascendancy started; League Cup final 1968 v Arsenal. 1-0. Terry Cooper.

For all you who continue to stay away for whatever your reasons are, I respect that this is your opinion and everyone has a right to it. However, 17,000 turning up to a leeds game especially a cup game where the tickets have been reduced to £20 and were playing a premiership side, is just damn right embarrassing. I cant help but feel that the only person your opinion is effecting is you! You are missing out, and because your not there the atmosphere isnt as good from fewer people. I stand (never sit) in the kop every home game without fail, and I wouldnt have missed tonight for anything. Like I SAID YOUVE MADE YOUR POINT, stop hurting yourself and the rest of the crowd, and no im not that piece of sxxte Bates Im just someone who loves his club.

Its a tuesday night so crowds are expected to be small .not everyone can afford to go to every home game its not just the price of a ticket theres travel costs aswell .alot of ppl will be at work .and then christmas is coming up and then bates is still at the club for others.

Won't set foot in Elland road again until bates is gone and certainly won't change my mind because you don't like the poor atmosphere. There are approx ten to fifteen thousand other Leeds fans doing this so stop moaning at us and direct your wimpering at the man who has caused this, bates.

I love this club and have done for 48yrs so i dont need you telling me what a should be doing. Once the leech Bates is gone i will be back along with my kids and so will a lot of other supporters.

I too have supported Leeds for well over 40 years but I won't be back untill Bates has gone OR he changes his habit of a lifetime and INVESTS some of MY (and YOUR!) money into the team that he is ripping the proverbial out of?

Much as I hate taking this stance it is quite obvious that Bates has started to realise the golden goose is slowly laying less and less, and I believe this is the ONLY reason he is prepared to sell.

To be honest I also don't think he cares whether the current alleged 'buyers' have the money to sustain Leeds (what a joke - he obviously can't!) as long as he gets the money for his shares.

So you keep going if you want to line Bates pocket at the expense of our team, but don't expect everybody else to. We'll be back the minute he's gone, believe me......

It makes me laugh when ppl say you cant tell me what to do Im not going to a game until bates has gone. I dont see how encouraging more fans to attend games is so terrible. I'd love to go to more games but live too far away. It just sounds patheic to say Im not giving bates any more of my money. He will be pocketing £50m he isnt intrested in to £25-£30. ER better sell out the games after bates has gone cus if not its going to make all the bates moaners look like right persons! {Ed013's Note - People need to realise that money from ticket sales pays the players wages and not Ken Bates! Alot of people just use this as an excuse and once he goes they will find another excuse not to go}
