Im smudgers biggest fan i'd have him back in a heartbeat but its not going to happen. i was talking to someone today who works in uefa and used to cover leeds games on the radio and will interview smudge in a couple of weeks about a famous night in europe containing 7-1 win over Roma. But he said the night we were relagated he was in the pub trying to pull a few chicks and was saying hes sad for his mates but he new he was leaving in the janurary He took one for the team but i dont thing he has any desire to return to leeds because he will get alot of stick because of his decision to leave to the Scum Im sorry but i dont feel as though smudger will be back any time soon. Unfortunatly

I wouldn't worry too much I doubt he reads this page. I would be more worried about the geniuses on his facebook page, no there is a right bunch of c**ts. No wonder the lad dont have confidence.

Please let's put this alan smith s**t to bed, the mans not coming for starters, we don't need him, secondly he's not in the same league as jonny howson, there's only room for one mr leeds utd and its HOWSON by miles.smith did not have the bollocks to even turn up today the man's a no hoper goin nowhere, let's hope he never sets foot in elland rd again and his name is never mentioned on here again thanks.

decent game today considering it was a friendly, sod the smith business it made it more enjoyable that he wasn't there tbh
played on the floor, looked a bit more organised, goalie looked ok, feel a bit more positive than I expected at the close of pre season

well no new signings as bates said this week 2 by this weekend what a joke u are bates wish someone would bye the club from u a concerned fan think this season going to be a long hard struggle

I for one am totally ill with the lies and lack of transparency at ER.. since the 1st of July we have heard KB tell the fans two key signings before end of week.. its now end of month and all we have if 2 out of favour goalkeepers who were 2nd string.. its obvious the problem lies with the back four of Leeds and yet no concrete player to embed into the team before pre-season.. I hate to say this but Southampton away next week - 0 points

Absolutely agree - bates ( or NO KEN DO as we should call him) lied yet again - first he said there would be 4 new signings now the 2 he said we would have before the Newcastle game have not come true - I'm fed up of his bull s##t - I suppose at the end of the window we will get the "we tried so hard but" excuses
