We have a small squad with 4 or 5 good players. I feel for warnock to as this i meant to be a final farewell to the game and kb is messing him bout to.

Leeds are a joke.. I hate being a fan of them. Billy sharp gone on loan to Forest now, we miss every decent player! All we sign is FREE.. OLD.. AVERAGE players! Can't take it anymore.. Whole club is an embarassment. We should attract all the best players in that League!!!

I think we should protest outside ellend road at the game tomorrow . Bates out one and for all . The thing is we're to quiet we have suit back too long enough is enough.

Austin, Peltier, Pearce - Old & average?. If the club you "support" are a joke, we can do without you.

Macca you cannot be serious! 3 young players compared to all the 30+ year olds we have! Most are have beens! I travel from south coast all year round to watch Leeds.. N you could do without fans like me? Can you not see no1s happy! Need to know from you how it's not embarrassing getting beaten to good signings by small clubs!

We can't do without these fans , have you seen our attendances lately? They have a right to voice an opinion and to choose to protest.

Your dedication in travelling to support is commendable, but I don't understand why anyone would say a club they support is a joke and they hate supporting them, and that we are an embarrassment ?

A big problem at our club is the attitude of us fans at times, I'm as disappointed as the next person that we're not signing more players, but I can't see what good protesting and causing trouble will do. Look at Blackburn.

NW knows you need a mix of youth & experience to get out of this league, look at what he did with QPR. We have a solid side with 3-4 very good players and 2-3 class youngsters who will give 110% for the team.

It's a shame that we all can't do the same.

biggest club in yorkshire, yet we have spent little, just mainly freebies and can't believe other local clubs are signing bigger key players. wheres all the money from player sales and tickets gone?

Leeds wont sign anyone just same ols story back to the loan market with players no one else wants who just want some easy money no commitment and will go off end of the season to there footballers pad on the med with some easy money, I feel sorry for NW promissed the earth but ends up with nothing. We just have to keep our decent players and build on that.

How amazing would it be if Leeds are just lying about having no funds available this window, and then we pull out a huge money signing transfer, we never get anything like that surely one window something like that has to give, maybe Warnock is keeping his cards that close to his chest he's said there's no money so that nobody can get a sniff? I'm just dreaming but its Leeds, anything can happen! I'm not saying a £10M player to come in, just someone like Boyd and a very good loan or even permanent signing to take the number 9 shirt! We can't even afford any decent loan signings....all the good ones will be done today. No Maynard, no Beckford no chance for the season ahead even thought NW has done his hardest to create a decent squad. Fed up with the takeover bulls*it. The money has gone on day to day running of the club, wages, bills etc there is no money left the tight Chelsea person won't spend his own cash he's punishing us because he has LITTLE MAN syndrome, he surrounds himself with heavies and then insults people because he's pissed on power. Spoke briefly to one of the management team (some older guy with grey hair) and he said if a deal is done, more likely to be a season loan, but want it done ASAP so no-one comes in at the eleventh hour to sign him permanently !

No chance you can't sign and sell a player in the same month. Plus why sell you top scorer when you have no one else. Either expect takeover and new signings released later or will have to wait or loan winow o open and take over will keep going for months as neither party will be in a rush to sell

Like the earlier poster, I also have lost interest in the Take Over ...or more to the point, gave up on it about three or four weeks ago. It is unbelievable how much easier it has been to live without the expectation that it was going to happen any time soon. Now I concentrate on worrying about the squad....if by some miracle the TO does happen, well and good, but I think we will do ok this season. As for our strength in depth, If we do have injury problems we will have to look at our youth...this is what we should be doing. for all we know the replacements for the first team players could be stars of the future.....I ask that everyone put the TO to one side and get behind the team and NW. Don't do it to yourselves...lifes too short. Enjoy the team we have, We are Leeds...we will prevail.

After midnight today, there is no pressure from the new buyers/investors to complete before January.

So if we dont get taken over today then expect nothing till January, first sign of anything happening will be a bid from leeds for a player for CASH!, that will mean the takeover people are realising funds prior to all the signitures etc.

To the post from stuW, why would you think this is a investment, when you seem to spend alot of time reading between the lines. Bates has said. The people that have come forward will past the fit and propper test. Plus they have the finances to secure LUFC future, with which they have no doubt. If it was just your theory, then why do we need a fit and propper test? Why would we care about them being able to move LUFC forward with funds, when your theory is the money is for Bates. So to me , it all doesn't stack up. Now full scale takeover does.
If this was just investment, it would of been over month ago. Bates is goin and goin the sad old man should.

Howson did ok. And Walton back in the day. Oh, and McPhail managed ok in the Premiership. We've got a pretty good record of midfielders coming through the ranks and doing well.

I agree the squad is pretty thin, but saying people wont hack it is nonsense. They wont get the opportunity if they're not ready.
