Be nice to get six points from home games but would be happy with four as both could be banana skins mot

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes 4 not a disaster. Less than 3 would be though!

Looking forward to tomorrows game, hope we can get a win to give Milanic a confidence boost, had enough of the Manager ( coach) revolving door,
Be great to get some stability at the club.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Need to start well, if we can get in front then I'll feel confident. Sloth needs to start behind the strikers for me, been impressed with him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree Sloth an automatic starter for me

Ha ha, love it Berm!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I like Andy MOT, and I like Bermondsey White. But which is best?
Theres only one way to find out .

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed003's Note - Naked arm wrestling ? }

I am up for that I never arm wreslte when dressed anyway so that's all good with me, would like to play the broken arm card though. maybe we could have a hock off any mot would love that

Agree0 Disagree0

OK, but it's going to have to be on the pitch at half time. Do we need to tell the crowd to bring binoculars BW?

Agree0 Disagree0

Speedy/Degsy i'm ok (i think) was on a mad holiday with the boys in Benalmadena and in recovery mode ATM
BW hope you had a good holiday bud?

Andy MOT & BW would be a tough contest and mind games will play a big big part, I wouldn't like to call it but with BW throwing the old arm injury in I think he's a TAD worried deep down!! ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Very bad arm injury (covering myself now) never fully recovered (although still plays like a ledg in goal). Best bring binoculars as ER is often cold (making excuses again) agree mind games might have a big part to play. look up the paddy power advert which I am in as a football thug and you will see me at my menacing best just to get you worried :)

Agree0 Disagree0

BW, will bring my microscope!

Agree0 Disagree0

Oi speedy ok with binocolars but microscope is bit too far it is not that cold. is it? :S

Cant help but think the Milanic seems to be providing excuses before games have even been played. We all know he needs time, but he doesn't need to harp on about it.

"This is a real experience for me. I know that it's a very difficult league"

"But I can't only know generally - I have to learn better every team, every player. I need time"

"We have to get better, "

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Think he is only talking sense ds, he needs to know all our players inside out to get the best from them, that only takes time and it is a big step up for him. He also needs to know the league, which again is going to take time. I think if you look at the games under Redders, the results were good, but Bolton, Birmingham and Bournemouth all battered us for a while, it was only against Huddersfield that we were in total control, so yes, I would say we need to improve!

Just to add to eds poll of the day. I feel if a player is injured and is deemed a foul by the ref and the injured player leaves the field for treatment then the player who commits the foul should also leave for the same amount of time, because the team who commits a foul and injures the player gain an extra man advantage for the amount of time the player is off

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think players need to man up and (outside of head injuries) if a player is injured and playing for time (and if his team is winning) all time wasted should be trebled as that would cut it out. I snapped my arm in two and shattered my elbow on the football pitch. I didn't go to the ground nor did I waste time I just got on with it like a man. these are big strong players if you knocked them in a pub they wouldn't go down yet on a pitch roll around for ages. trelbing the time would stop it. also think any form of cheating (diving, handballing or any bad cheating) needs to be retospectivly banned and really heavy to msake players know it is not worth their time. only way to make our great game better

Sounds fair doos to me 👍

Following Milanic's comments as to why Sharp was not in the squad for the Brentford game I would not be suprised if either/or Murphy and Tonge find their way into the starting 11 against Reading. The comments regarding the youthful Leeds midfield requiring experienced backup on the bench suggests to me that Milanic is not entirely comfortable with the current ethos. In part I agree that a sprinkling of experience would help this team however I do not think he should be relying on players who consistently failed for us last year

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So what were his exact comments. Sharp is experienced so surely should have been in the squad on Saturday.

Or have misunderstood

Agree0 Disagree0

Stated on radio ‘It was a technical decision’. ‘I knew if we play this game with so many young players in the middle – with three – there will be a lot of dirty work to do and I knew that it will be necessary to change them’.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ahh, so dropped in order to make space for the "experienced" centre mids.

the bench was,

Murphy Taylor Wootton Tonge Morison Cooper Sloth

We started with Cook, Mowatt Austin and Bianchi and all but Austin were changed.

Sharp should have been on the bench instead of Morison and to me Cook is the only "young player". Mowatt is, but has been playing a season. Bianchi hardly young and Austin experienced. To me that's a good mix.

IMHO opinion, The Brentford game should have been Redders last in temp charge. This would have allowed the new guy to see the players, formation and tactics and plan for the home game.

I know he needs time and eventually will get to grips with the job. but we were on a good run (doesn't matter if through performances or from luck) and for continuity purposes should have watched from the stands. He should have been phased in with the 2 home games in mind. Maybe not practical, but still, that my opinion and hind sight is a wonderful thing.

One point I do want to add is, he has also stated publically that he doesn't like young players progressing to early because of contracts, money and other things. Its a shame as the signings MC has made are all quite young

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree hence it would not suprise if some of the "experienced" players find their way into the starting 11

The young players do need some protection. Last thing we want is Cook out for a few months. I think milanic made a meal of his interview. It boils down to squad rotation. That said, murphy tonge are not good enough. This is still a transitional season for us. I expect even better recruits next summer but I guess we can kiss goodbye to further incomings in january.

Agree0 Disagree0

I still think murphy will come good has shown flashes of class just needs to do more and do it more often but still holding out hope for him, tounge has been one of our better players in early games of this season. I think darko was bit overwhelmed by everything think and hope he will settle. I always say managers records for me say how much of a chance they should get and I will give darko a good few games before I get on his back

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry BM but I don't agree. Murphy has little pace to bypass his opponent, passing is at best inconsistent and tackling can be reckless. Tonge's legs have gone and although has shown glimpes early on he cannot sustain it for 90 mins never mind a season

Agree0 Disagree0

No I will take your opinion on board Nott's as I have not seen much and can understand what you are saying. Think my post is more hopeful than expecting or said from knowledge to be honest

Agree0 Disagree0

No probs BW, nothing wrong in seeing the best in others

Agree0 Disagree0

Yh but in some players I see it even when it is not there
