I think premier league rejects are the ideal targets. Phillips lime you say, Ince albeit we won't get him now, Sinclair was an option but now Villa have him. Knockeart is another.
Not Woolfood surely :/

Pearce is like most footballers these days they dnt have any loyalty to anyone club yes while their playing for a club they kiss badge vow there un dying devotion etc but they dnt have a spiritual home disapointed with his comments but not shocked we move on and upwards now mot

The way the world's going you don't get many people in any profession remaining totally committed to one place of work. I get along with everyone where I work and I'm proud that I've got a half decent job but if I could move onto something better, that suited me more, then I wouldn't hesitate to go and not pay any attention to my old job. It's just the way things are.

or was he told he was not needed he was sold but not for money as £300k if coach says you won't play then you go
Pearce let himself down with his parting shot after being sold to Wigan. He did not justify being selected in the past 5 games on the back of a poor season so far. I like the fact that Pearce gave 100% in games however this does not detract from the fact that he is slow, poor in possession and has poor positional sense. Centre back partners cannot concentrate on their own game when playing with Pearce as they have to also cover for his deficiencies. Good luck in your career Jason (although not too much for the rest of the season) but as for your outburst learn some humility #Noclass
Why are we all disappointed in Pearce's comments, if the club are prepared to sell a player & accept an offer for him what is he supposed to do, stay & take the unwarranted criticism that has been so often directed at him from the majority of Leeds fans or join a club that wants him. I haven't seen any comments from Pearce where he is bad mouthing the club or fans.

Spot on NottsWhite. Nice to meet someone of a like mind.

I no it might be fairly un realistic but I think matt phillips from QPR would be a great loan deal adding much needed pace and creativity and he has Championship expience
He would be a great signing, pace, power and an eye for goal. Sadly not on our radar

Just seen Pearce's comments about us, why did he have to do that I don't know. Apparently Wigan are a more 'stable' club than us, despite selling their best players, having two racists in charge and being 8 points off safety. Apparently he also deserved to play in the last 5 games, despite the fact we've improved defensively without him. Just makes his 'professionalism' look phoney.
Yes, he's let him self down with those comments. Good luck to him. We move onwards and hopefully upwards!!

Sour grapes. Redders said yesterday he wants to keep the better players then Pearce is sold the following day. Says it all really.
30 Jan 2015 19:25:31
His interview proves his sale was the right decision.
Well we visit Wigan early March, so let's go make him eat his words. Knowing our luck he will have his best game ever.

So Pearce has gone. Last season he was my player of the year based just on his blood and guts performances. However, he was prone to the odd mistake and when pressed did panic a little. I think selling him is the right idea, but I would have thought at the end of the season and not to a team who we are in a relegation battle with. Still I thought selling Warnock at the time we did was a bad idea, but look at Charlie Taylor! Stephen who?
30 Jan 2015 12:42:24
Pearce gone. Why is it that every time we sell a player ( McBadgekisser excepted) - it is for "an undisclosed fee"? Why isn't there more transparency?
. now reported to be £300k. I can't say I was one of his biggest fans due to his infuriating habit of constantly backing off from attackers, but £300k? On a par with the paltry £500k for Matt Smith. Can only be to offload him from the wage bill I guess.
Probably got an added clause in case he gets called up for England, or if Wigan are promoted. We should be quids in!

Disturbing reports about Cellino and a Range Rover. What is it with this guy?
30 Jan 2015 13:34:07
Not to mention his other boat, he could be barred for quite some time if it all goes against him.
What it is with Cellino is arrogence. Just pay you're tax. Why think I've been convicted on 1 charge and called disonest by the judge. I'll contest all the other charges? Settle out of court before trial. He could put the club at risk by his actions.

I know - Range Rover - I ask you! Grand Cherokee for me every time!

Sol Bamba wants to make he's loan deal a permanent deal
30 Jan 2015 08:51:41
Bamba to start on Saturday I reckon
Hope sloth starts too
Ant up front for a change
Poss other newby in midfield with Austin mowatt murphy Cook
Adryan on bench
No chance of all that happening but 3 out of 5 be good!?
It will be the same team that played against Bournemouth with the exception of Bamba for Bellusci and possibly Berardi for Wootton
30 Jan 2015 11:21:49
Agree with NottsWhite
It's common sense init.
Aussie
I reckon you will get 1/5 max
That's your first one
Ausman why would you want to change a team that has done pretty well in the last 3 games? As the saying goes if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Sure depending how game goes you can always go 2 up front then if needed, or change midfield personal etc but start with same team apart from Bamba in for suspended Bell end.
At some stage I would be tempted to play a two up front morrison/sharpe or ant but midfield at the moment looks good.
I'm going for a 2-1 for us (more in hope really as they don't lose at home often) I would take a draw and then a win over Brentford and if we do that then that is progress as would be unbeaten in 5 and the shape/format of team looking much better with a good looking bench as well.
We were did well against Sunderland and Bolton with Antenucci, Sloth, Adryan. Yet redfearn brought his kids back in. Hope NGoyi plays

Maybe the reason we're selling all these captains, is because they weren't good enough to captain in the first place. Pearce was a poor choice, meaning he was a guaranteed starter every game and costing us points. We've gained more points without Pearce in the team, than with him. The last true captain we had was Naylor.
