It like we will be getting Cameron Stewart! Haven't reAlly seen him so what are people's views? Also we have made an offer for luke freeman along with 3 or 4 other championship sides, so could be a fight for him! BMCD met with Connor wickham today but he confirmed he is on his way to a premiership rubbish side. Looks unlikely to get Nakhi wells which is a shame because Bradford are asking for too much money, and club don't feel he is worth there valuation of him. Also max gradel is not coming back to elland road!

Cameron Stewart, I thought he was very good against us. Was at Charlton match and he scored a great goal and tied Peltier and Lees in knots a few times, not that, that is difficult. Did post a little while ago that he was worth considering. At 22 is worth it, another one as part of the building process that is progressing, onwards and upwards.

For fans to still think that building for next season is acceptable is just ridiculous. Fans of our club need to demand more instead of putting up with the consistently inconsistent performances, lack of communication from the owners to the fans and the lack lustre responses from the manager during interviews. I highly doubt we will get anyone promising. But if we do we should be looking at going up this season. It has been 10 years nearly and for us to keep accepting defeat this time round and building for the next will get us nowhere!

There has been so much more openness from these new owners in one year than we ever saw from Bates.

What are you expecting to see? the contents of their personal bank accounts for instance?

Well if stamping your feet and shouting was going to get us promoted then you're obviously the man for the job. The management and players can just have a rest while you take to the the field and singlehandedly refuse to lose a game.

Understand the frustration but good times are on the way back. Good owners who have already proved they're no Bates. We tried the Warnock back in the premiership in a year target; didn't work.

Any true supporter know the Team isn't good enough yet. We lack real creative quality in midfield and only have 1 good striker. We have nil wingers so BM has limited options.

The new owners are no mugs. They know that promotion will only come from investment. Better players to supplement what we have will reap its reward.

Before we all get negative let's see who we've bought by the end of January. Also remember we are a Championship club so a Premiership players will not come to us!

Real supporters support the cause. Let's be 12th man again at ER. Time to support!

According to Warnock 'McD only need to put the icing on the cake with the squad he left'. McD's reply 'I'm not sure that's correct'.

i think he left the club with an ok team but it was way off needing just the icing on the cake . we are still a bit away from needing just the icing now .
grayson came up from league 1 with a team that just needed the icing on the cake.
if we had of added austin and byram to that team we would already be in prem league

I wouldn't agree with warnock, realistically we were never going to go down but brian had to change a lot of things in very little time just to make us a playoffs contender. The style of play was changed in a matter of weeks and he got players back on form and on side. Mccormack, Pugh, Austin, lees, peltier, varney and tonge have all improved massively since the almost pointless reign of warnock

Y on earth would we want wells he is not even top scorer in league 1 . We are aiming for premiership quilalty players and he is no wer good enough. Watched him play a few times and would rather have hunt up front and that's saying something

No doubt you would of said the same about lambert and grant holt both have played in league two and made the step up to the prem so what makes you think wells cant

Beckford was from the ithsmian league and look what he achieved. By the way that is barely semi professional football

I'm all for us having wingers and think they would make the team better, if they are the right ones, not Gradel as I think there are better out there. However, our central midfield struggles in games at the moment and that is when there are three of them, how bad would it be if there were only two? To make use of wingers you need to have the ball to give to them, our central midfield is so poor on many occasions that it would be a struggle.

Please name the wingers out there who iyo are better than gradel? This goes for all u people who post like this! Please name the names don't hide behind "there is better out there"!

Thing is by asking that you will get persons posting unrealistic targets.I entirely agree with you and I think gradel would be excellent.

Folks; Max was wonderful for us, but I agree with what BMD has been saying. It was 2 years ago. What's his form like now? He's been injured. Has anybody seen much of him in the last couple of years? Also, he'll be pricey. I would welcome the Gradel that left us with open arms, though. PK

Does anyone know why lees is playing so poorly? Seems to me like he's signed a new contract and just sat back, but just speculating, vinny.

Lees is not bad in the air but he is a slow thinker and not so good with the ball on the ground. Therefore when the ball gets to him when we are trying to move the ball around its either played back or 'hoofed' up front because he takes too much time and options get closed down. He is not a bad player just average with some bad days from time to time.

Purely by my powers of deduction, the four target players are: Chris Burke (if low bid is accepted); Hal Robson-Kanu (big money, long-shot); Billy Sharp (another big money signing, much more likely) and finally Samir Carruthers. Wells, Gradel & Becchio are smoke screens. Think I'm wrong? Let's see in a couple of weeks. Berty

How did you work this out by powers of deduction? Please explain, considering we approached Norwich about the availability of Becchio on loan I don't think it's a smoke screen.
