I'm only a teenager, 15 tommorow and I do understand finances can make it very tough to get to Leeds (fortunately I've never had that issue) but the board is doing their very best to get us onside with numerous on and off field ventures but all I'm saying is that when ER has 30k packed in its a fantastic place. Obviously bills and family stuff must cost a fortune but make that extra effort to get there as it really counts. Anyway hope we win on my birthday tommorow would spoil it if not MOT

Always special attending Birthday at Elland Rd. On my 50th however we lost, the chippy was closed and they didn't sell Cider in the bars :( ain't going to forget that one for many years. 'Happy Birthday' You will have several thousand brothers with you on the day. that's the special part of the day

Another highly intelligent article by Danny Mills. I'm sure Mcd will take heed.

WOW. For a long time now it's been so hard, GFH you have made such a statement today about your intentions and I for one are over the moon, only a year ago ross would have been gone with the pressure put on by M/brough now c'mon lads let's do Redknapps lot and be top by 2 o clock. MOT.

what a massive statement from gfh we have kept hold of one of our star players, the days of selling are hopefully gone, this is a huge boost to leeds fans, with a couple of new players we could do it this season, MOT

The signing of the summer ROSS McCORMACK! The feel good factor and the little acorn continue to grow

I agree it is not user friendly and much more difficult to navigate to find news quickly. buying tickets as an existing season ticket holder wanting to buy extra is not easy either, and leaves you in doubt as to whthger the deal is done - could lead to buying them twice. {Ed013's Note - This is in regards to the new LUFC website}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree website isn't much good

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a website for god sake instead of moaning why not put your energy into singing your heart out for the team tomoz then need us fans

Note to all you boro fans mc cormack has put pen to paper he is staying put at leeds because he loves the club, fans and city. he also admires mcd as a manager and thinks things are on the up for the club and wants to be part of the resurgence, and also he wasnt empty his flat but is moving into a new place not moving to middlesborough keep dreaming. Leeds until I die MOT

Ross McCormack has signed a new four year contract with Leeds. He is going nowhere! MOT!

30 Aug 2013 18:47:25
Not a rumour but FACT, Ross has signed a new 4 year contract. now go get the winner tomorrow Ross

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It's great news, and shows good intent from the board in the fact that we don't have to sell are best players. Just wish we could shift a few players so we could get some quality along side him.

Quit with the Vaz Te rumour.

It's not and won't happen at all.

I am not in the know and most fans will already have realised it but unless 3 people are leaving before the deadline to free up enough wage space and also, the city of leeds suddenly appears next door to London we have no chance.

Leeds United striker Ross McCormack is set to sign a new four-year contract to end speculation about his future. McCormack has been the subject of several offers from Championship rivals Middlesbrough this summer, but Leeds have been determined to keep the 27-year-old.

Its all well and good the Chairman and the Manager asking the fans to turn out on mass for the QPR game. But when will the board learn that when a game is televised and particularly at 12.15 on a Saturday lunchtime fans will not travel and pay the prices charged by the club.

Any televised game should be classed as a Category C game to keep ticket prices to a minimum. The club are already benefitting from Sky money for the televised game so surely they should sell tickets as cheaply as possibly (Cat C prices), fill the ground and then reap the benefit from having 37,000 fans buying merchandise etc.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Spot on mate. No reason for a televised game to be top dollar unless there's a large demand for seats.

30 Aug 2013 13:17:55
Anyone know how ticket sales are going?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not very well looking at the OS. Loads of room left in east and South lower. If QPR don't bring many I would imagine attendance may be approx. 25,000.

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard about 25,000 sor far

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes!
Del Boy

Agree0 Disagree0

According to a few sources it could be a 30000 attendance. Harry rednapp and a few others said this

Get your tickets bought and let's get behind mcdermott and the lads come on you whites

got a feeling bmcd will pull off one more signing. and I don't think any of us will see it coming. I believe the club has money but are not showing it.
need a midfield player to support austin, green has played well but can't see him keeping it up get a winger and move murphy in field could work.

unbeaten in 6 lge and cup games, a very good start never saw it coming mostly impressed with kenny and the defenders keeping it tight.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Our cash signings will be 3 things: Young; Relatively low wages; Fee paid over time, with none up front. The current owners have no money, and are banking on Premier League or further investment in the future to pay for these players.

This is a message to all Leeds fans. Get your self down to the game Saturday with no excuses. Since leaving school 3 years ago I work with my Anty on the market I get paid £150pw and give my mum £50. I still get a ticket every time Leeds play at eland road and I walk 7miles each way to watch the boys.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good for you pal seems like you have it sorted. For me the walk is a tad to far but I will be cheering on from pub instead

Agree0 Disagree0

Try having a family to support, bills to pay, car which needs fuel, mortgage to pay and so on. I life 200 miles away and would love to go every week but simply cannot. I know you mean well but shut up

Agree0 Disagree0

Good for you mate, but you clearly don't have any other commitments i.e kids mortgage. times are tough for a lot of families mate not everyone can afford it.

MOT the mighty whites

Agree0 Disagree0

Not all of us can afford it though, I mean i'm not walking the 30 miles to ER there and back, and I know that other fans live thousands of miles away.

I understand both points of this argument. 1) People should make all efforts to get to ER. Even if the clash is on tv, its not the same as at ER. 2) Finances and homelife doesn't allow you to get there as much as you wish, you may be on a tight budget or can't always get to ER because of the other half.

I do try and get to each game as a can, but it comes at a price (the girlfriend comes along). So that's 2 x tickets £50/60, petrol £20, programme £3 (got one from everygame I have gone so not going to stop), drinks £20, food £10, and to say we live on a budget of £150 per week we can't justify it each week.

So instead of each fan saying your not a true fan you can't go, or you don't have to worry about money and can go unlike me etc, let's just stand united and realise that all of us are true fans!

PS I will be going Bolton away! (closer to home and don't have to bring the MRS!)

Peace out!

Agree0 Disagree0

You are a good lad

Agree0 Disagree0

Not everyone lives with their parents and can spend their money solely on luxuries my friend

Agree0 Disagree0

No more excusses, bates gone the management is sorted
bought a million pound player
its up to all leeds supports to come to the games as much as they can
i can't afford it so bought a season ticket and 5 of use share the car
everybody could do this
get to the games they have changed this season and support is brilliant and more optimistic
MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I flew back from our family holiday in Spain on tues, touched down at 1730 got our cases dropped the wife and son off at home and made my way to Donny, not going tomorrow as work and finance dictate not. It's a case of if you can do it go, but a good majority of fans have budgets and houses and families to keep.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice story
Did similar mate when I was a young lad from Huddersfield to ER for the grand total of £1.50 to stand on the kop
now living in Guildford in southern shandy drinking land but will be up tomorrow with my lad and can't wait
COME ON LEEDS MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha ha leave the lad alone! He just wants as many there as possible for the team . Its simple if ye can afford then thers only 1 place to be on a saturday and if ye can't then sly tv is just as good to roar away at . Mot.

attention to detail is marvellous here, ain't it. See that - a double fact. and bringing the man, ne omnipotent all seeing force that is Stixx into the equation! Phew. tantamount to genius. Get in there John boy. Britain's Got Talent is next, right?

Can anyone help with an Italian tv Channel that is showing match vs Qpr? Thank you grazi.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A site called wizwig has allsorts of streams, just click on LIVE SPORTS (In blue) then click football, choose Saturday and scroll down till u find it.
I just looked it is there and will stream from 1hr before the match.
hope this is what your after, MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I watched the game last weekend on streamhunter

Agree0 Disagree0

I watch most games that are either on sky or al jezzera which is quite frequent due to the takeover. On usagoals

Agree0 Disagree0

Just go to front row sports. Its best one. And they stream everything that's on tv. If U have adblocl. Don't get any adverts popping up. And depending on your pc doesn't stop or buffer.
Bob . Wakefield

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry. First row sports I meant

Sport lemon has a good link or u can type from football as a passage to the site
i watch the leeds v ipswich game through there and it was very clear

Really dislike the new Leeds website. Latest news is not obvious and a lot of simple but nice features are gone. Anyone in agreement? {Ed013's Note - I agree, but apparently its all modern and up to date now}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree - very boring now

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, it is total rubbish and not very user friendly

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, as a graphic designer myself, I must say it's not as good as the old one for functionality.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally disagree - looks great - large photos - and easy to navigate

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree. The previous web site was more user friendly. Frankly the new one is just a pain to use.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree, not at all intuitive, sack the designer. Poorly laid out and too many adverts.

Agree0 Disagree0

The old site was much better, this new site is step backwards

Agree0 Disagree0

Some people will complain about absolutely anything. Have a word with yourself. The owners have been absolutely brilliant, I take it many of you never get to games this season that you can complain about a website, because I for 1 love the spirit that is running through the squad at the minute, and if we win on Saturday, I'm going to write a letter of disgust about the amount of people at the bar in the Peacock, its a disgrace!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a graphic designer too and much better than reply number 3. so ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

I also am not impressed with the new web site, unfortunately can't make it to many games as I live 12000 miles away but I do hop on a plane every year to watch a few games at great expense. the web site is the main link to the club I love and it needs to be easier to understand

Agree0 Disagree0

Website looks great and just takes a bit of getting used to. I think most of the people complaing are just scared of change which explains a lot of our supporters comments on this website. just get behind the club and stop your bitching. it does not matter what leeds do if its positive I support it and so should the rest of you.mot smaca1

Agree0 Disagree0

What you on about scared of change? I live 2000 mile from Elland Road but I subscribe to LUTV and it is difficult to find the link for the service. The website is more concerned about adverts than imparting info about the club and compared to the old website the Match Day center is rubbish. The fixture list is rubbish. This is not knocking the club, you guys need to get over yourselves. Sometimes people just get things wrong. The website doesn't work, it's putting more people off visiting.

Agree0 Disagree0

I care more about the team than the bloody website!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I posed the above question and many of those who replied negatively to it have missed the point. I don't live in England but have followed Leeds for 41 Years. I visit ER three times a season bringing both my sons. The money I spend is much more than some season ticket holders - definitely not a gripe but an explanation. The website is my main source of information on Leeds and I also subscribe to LUTV. I check the website everyday (countless times every day during the summer checking for transfer news) and listen to virtually every match on LUTV. I am a true Leeds supporter but my only real source of information on Leeds is the website. Sorry, the website is dreadful. PS I will be roaring on Leeds today as I watch them beat QPR on TV. Come on Leeds!
