The absence of Redders worries me. Does anyone know why this is.

Absence from where? wasn't he at the game.

Where is he absent from?

Seemed to do a lot of passing but as soon as we got into the final third it fell apart,
Still no width or creativity up front for the last 2 games, yet the second half of the Bournemouth game did show some indication that we do have the capability to kill teams off.

Compact is how Milanic described us on the radio, which is one of the few positives in quite a turgid game. It was clear that we miss that transitional player that can move play quickly from midfield to attack. Mowatt had a few opportunities but lacks the pace to control the ball, turn, move away from opponents and play the destructive pass. Adryan and Montenegro may not be the answer but we will not known until they play but surely these players will offer more than Murphy!

I can believe in Father Christmas, The Tooth Fairy and The Easter Bunny but I can't believe Darko picked Cooper to play at left back and brought on Murphy as first sub. Does Cellino have the monopoly on the Muppets because he keeps employing them. Murphy only made one pass that went forward and had no influence on the game, Cooper - what can I say? A centre back, possibly - a left back don't think so. What is it it about Leeds? We buy central defenders and then play them at full back - Wooton, Lees and now Cooper. Why don't we bring in decent players in these positions and play them. However, on balance, the foreign imports did better than their English counterparts even if Antelucci and Sloth had their worst games. I like Biannci and Bellusci gets better every game. Even though he is a centre back, his passing and control is better than most of our mid field and forwards. Pearce was solid as ever and only one major mistake. Byron is not the player he was. Mowatt - jury is out. Still not convinced about Sharpe. Although many do not like him Austin again was the pick of the mid field even though his decision making is flawed and frustrating on occasions. His pass completion is better than most and he does shake up the opposition with his strength and running. Who else runs at the opponents defence?

You're right about the Warnock for Cooper swap as he has been our most consistant player so far this season. Think Darko may have done it to rest Warnock and get a bit of rotation going as we have a massive squad. Hopefully he gave Murphy a chance just to have a look at him. Now that he's seen Murphy and seen that he's not a game changer it could be Adryan's chance against Wedensday.
The team seems to be very inconsistant and we shouldn't expect performances like against Huddersfield every week!

Well done, keep slagging Sam Byram. He is quite clearly past his best. What must he be now? Clearly past his best. I'm sure I speak for all Leeds fans when I say that I shall be grateful when he goes to a new club. I wonder why so many talented young players leave us?

Agree0 Disagree0

I have seen sam bryam a few times this season. is he that talented? if so he clearly doesn't care as he has been average/innefective at best. love to see us get a decent fee for sam as think money would be far better than player

Agree0 Disagree0

Not slaggimg Byram off at all. Just pointing out the obvious. Didn't say he should be dropped either but he, for whatever reason, is not giving us the attacking edge that he did which is part of the team's current difficulty. It is the job of the coach to find out if there is a problem and put it right. Not sell him. He played a lot of games and did well. Was injured and this, together with the level of expectation and the selling of his team mates, can affect ayoung player. Needs sorting within the club.

at the game tonight, the 'passing' game seems to have fallen apart. continuously playing ourselves into trouble. no width, no strength in tackle. always second to the breakdown ball. no end product. players looked like they have had their confidence surgically removed. silvestri leeds best player by far, without him probs 2-0 defeat at least. no pressure on the opposition (unlike in recent games), opposition had +++ time on ball, picking their passes at will. unsure what has happened to the team that gave udders failed a good rogering. only shot on target was from billy sharp in last 10 mins. rudy added some bite in mf that was missing before he came on, unsure what murphy adds, maybe that means not a lot. always stands off players, must be better options than him on the bench, surely?! come on DM sort it now. don't want to lose to the wendigors after last season with our cast off cb.

Saw game last night as always, fair to say Reading better than Hudd and we don't do that well against Reading but.

Why do managers play people out of position? it never really works, history shows this so what was the manager doing? Liam C is a good CB but does not have the skill/pace/forward play to be a full back. Add that to the fact that Warnock has been one/if not best defender this season and can also get in a cross I just don't get it at all, makes no sense.

This worries me plus the fact he bought on Murphy who in all the home games I have seen him in does very little and is not going to change a game for you.

I don't mind a point against reading but what worries me is that I didn't see a plan, what is he working towards, only good thing is that unlike the bolton game they didn't have many chances to score really.

We still need more pace and width to create stuff, passing is better than under BM/Hock but need to get better here as well.

I have not been a fan of Mowett but the first half last night he was the only one who look like he knew what he was doing in midfield/up-front. If I was him I would be working flat out on my fitness which seems poor to me and pace (i.e. get the coaching staff to get the most out of him here cause he ain't quick but can improve).

Douk was poor last night, no ball control, for me Bianchi was OK but nothing special, Cook could be good but gives the ball away far to much again last night, sloth decent first half but ran out of gas, should have been subbed.

Pearce was solid, Bellusci again looked good as did our keeper and SB is still not the player he was.

Not all doom and gloom, much work to do but please Mr coach don't play people out of position, improve passing drills like Redders was doing, don't play likes of murphy etc who have had their chance, give others a chance and let's look at some of the new players we have bought (montenegro/adryan etc) or what was the point of buying them!
