Well that should help the people who were getting over excited about us beating Southampton's third team get a bit of perspective.

More unimaginative hoof ball somehow resulted in us getting a point we didn't deserve.

These are Warnock's players. That is how he believes football should be played: kick the opposition; hoof it long. Good to see I'm no longer the only one on this site who thinks he should go.

As I've been saying since last season..

Going nowhere under Warnock...

Warnock played this kind of football where ever he's been and has 7 promotions. It's not the way we play its the quality of players. We have no one fast . No one to pick out a good pass. No one to make space and create chances. Warnock will get us up with better quality players but it probably won't be this season. Lets face if bates doesn't go we're going no where. We desperately need money and this takeover takes the p*ss

Warnock likes to play a direct style of play which means lots of long passes but you need class players to do long passes otherwise it just turns into a hoof downfield.

6 promotions actually - I see you fail to mention his 9 relegations though - which would have been much higher if he hadn't been sacked a few times.

6 in league football - 1 non-league. Most around 20 years ago back when hoof ball often worked. It's 2012, it doesn't work that well these days although Pulis seems to have managed.

How can they tell us that the takeover is close then not say a word for a week. It's no closer than the last time they said it was close.

I have lost the faith, we are appalling! I don't care what the results are and what we manage to gloss over but we are a bottom half team! No pace, no creativity, defence is woeful again and we look like a league 1 side! I admire Brightons football and can only wish and pray we could play like them. How they didn't win is beyond me! Has Kenny ever thrown the ball out of defence......can we string more than 3 passes going forward?? We are clumsy and awkward with the ball and nearly gift the team 3 goals!! Im embarrassed and depressed that my beloved football club has come to this! I can't go to any more games if this is the style of football we play. Im sorry Neil but this dross is not what im going to pay to see. I had friend text me saying they can;t believe how bad leeds are this season! Where do we go from here...i can't see us winning many games. Please no one quote the Capital one cup that no on cares about...the league is what matters. Im leaving the ground tonight feeling like we have lost

Its not Warnock out and Bates out,its supporters like you out,hit a poor run of form and it all starts again,al the gloom and doom merchants are out in force,were doing the best with what weve got at the minute,if we beat a team were world beaters,and when we lose its sack everybody,you lot need to get out more,or F--K OFF and pretend to support someone else.

So you would put bates before a fellow leeds fan who cares about his club? Seems to me you need to get things into perspective and not tell Leeds fans to **** off? maybe have some respect for their opinions as they want what's best for leeds, they just believe this will happen quicker without bates in charge...... Agree if you should not tell people to **** off

Typical Warnick display, dogged performance, against creativity. We desperately need pace in our attack. We are slow all over the pitch. Brighton & Hove Albion bring on Dobbie from Swansea, what a quality player never mind Buckley and Mckail-Smith, how is it possible a club like that can have players like that and we bring on Pugh?...Answer a board that invests in football players. Time for Bates to go, so we can start to re-build. We are two or three players shirt of a top six side.

I agree but i dint think warnock should be in charge. Cant stand watching any more of these really poor performances

Just at the game now, sat behind dugouts in Brighton end.Sounds loud in away end lol. After Smith hit Leeds post, a fan next to me told Warnock to sign him up. He turned round and told him to wait until Jan. He had a smirk on his face. {Ed003's Note - Could have been wind}

Why have we got brown playing week in week out because he has one good game, he shocking. Whem youve got norris in the bench theres only on winner! Norris should be back playing ! JDS

Brown had a decent game a few dodgy tackles but that's normal with brown....is anyone forgetting that he gained us a point?

Either way no one even the people involve can seem to put a date to it. It's ridiculous how long it can go on for. There's absolutely no consolidation of anything at this club. Except the position of ken bates that will stay with us for far too long. How can gfh expect us fans to be patient anymore. After months and months I'm starting to doubt gfh! To tell us it's close then spread out and extra week or two or three. It's not fair and we don't deserve to be left hanging on the edge waiting on the fate of dear club. We the fans make this club what it is and I know some of you will say its not gfh fault which is isn't. It's just going on and on and were told a timescale and that fails then another timescale...
GFH and ken say that the deal is almost done. Takeovers of nottsforest and Cardiff didn't take this long. To think its this week next week the week after. We should be promised a date and that date should be the final date.

Not saying that its gfh stalling but the first thing you want as a owner i think is solidarity within the communication between the owner and the fans. So far communication has been limited (probley because of the confidentially clause) and so many of us have been built up to be let down.

It's not right and not fair to the many fans that make leeds united leeds united through thick and thin.

If this isn't finished by next week I will lose full confidence in the takeover actually happening. I know they confirmed its close and going to happen but if they were realy that close don't u think it would be done by now? Whatever your view u just have to admit that this thing has to come to a conclusion sooner rarer than later.

KEN and GFH it's time to end this terrible winding road of ups and downs once and for all . We are leeds and we make this club. US the fans. GET IT DONE!

From what I have heard from a couple of acquaintences who's company is involved in the due diligence the reason the takeover is taking so long is that LUFC comprises about 20 different companies. The club, the ground, the training facility, the catering, the programmes, the matchday staff, etc. Each ones value to be assessed and acquired. Only what I have heard. JD

if the take over is confirmed the cash
will be given to neil warnock to spend.
neil will be streghntening the areas that
needs cover. in my opinion the areas still
needs to streghnten is the defence and
forward.another centre back with
versatility that can play in any of the
defence area is required.also the area
that is lacking is another forward.if
possible max gradel is brought back it
will really helps the team.a class player
and to make dioufy permanent is also
neil's first priorty.it all depends on the
players neil will be bringing in.another
attacking midfielder would really improve
the team.a playmaker to partner austin.
norris is a good midfielder but rotation
of the squad is a must if leeds to mount
a challenge to the premier league.

I hope the takeover will happen soon but the owners wont realise what a great club theyve taken over until dec 19 . hopefully a full manic house at elland road will spur them on to back neil and bring the prices down to keep the momentum going win loose or draw . bates will walk away with his money but hopefully realise to us it was a crime just to let the club stagnate in the lower divisions . but he knew what he was doing and wont be the slightest bit bothered about us . the honour of being custodian of hour club will mean nothing , it was a money making excercise nothing more . all those leeds fans who say he done a good job despite 25 pts deducted relegation to division 1 , staying there for 3 years , prem prices , selling our best players , pricing out families whos kids are walking around leeds in man city and arsenal tops give your head a shake .

Everyone concerned about the Diouf situation - fear not.

From his perspective, why would you re-sign under Bates for a small wage increase now, when you can wait and re-sign under GFH for more more.

Diouf clearly loves it here and i genuinely believe he wants to get promoted with us.

If you take a step back and lok at the situation a minute it all seems very confusing. lets look at the facts. GHF funded a few of the transfers in the summer. So with Ryan Hall we have loaned him with a deal to sign him perminantly in January. I presume therefore that GHF will be funding this aswell. i then presume that this means that they are really confident of the takeover otherwise they wouldnt commit this money to the club. so based on that why cant we do a similar deal with say george boyd? he's transfer listed and wants to leave plus hes the kind of player we are looking for. Obviosuly no one really knows whats happening with the takeover but im sure it will be resolved sooner rather than later. in the meantime lets hope for a big three points tonight....much needed!

GFH did not finance any player acquisitions, the money they gave is in effect a down payment on the sale price, that money will be in Mr Bates account.
