More like Redders should have seen this coming and rested him for Del Fabro. As a rule of thumb, you rest a 30 year old after playing 7 consecutive matches. It also keeps fringe players interested so it's a win win. You are meant to use the squad.

Absolute bollox. Why would you rest a CB after playing seven games on the trot, even if he is 30 ys old? Bamba been playing excellent, and just imagine the uproar if NR had rested him for Del Fabro. Don, t tell me an experienced manager would of seen a poor game for Bamba was due, because he was so knackered after 7 games on the spin?!
As a rule of thumb, then John Terry must be due a couple of MONTHS off as he's played almost continuously for these past five years and he is what, 35 yrs old?!
Some people have got it right in for Redfearn and i'm not sure why. For the 1st time in years we have a team who look UNITED and are actually playing with passion. But I forgot, he does not make enough subs, he has left Ajose out on loan, he plays Morison and something about a plan B!

Bamaba hasn't played much so perhaps he's struggling with fitness. Give Del Fabro a game, did more than well against Sunderland

Spot on Corky
Just an off game, nobody can legislate for that. We have a United team and things are slowly on the up!

Corky, John Terry is one of the greatest defenders to play the game. He earns what 100k a week. While I wish we had a defender of his calibre, comparing my remarks concerning a decent championship defender (Bamba) to Terry is hardly like for like. You can overplay a professional soccer player. Terry will have his breaking point. Mourinho will know what it is but it won't be 7 games. Probably double. Bamba has not played competitively that much this season. All I am saying is it is of no surprise what happened and Redders had a good excuse before the game to rest him, preserve his form and give Del Fabro who has done nothing wrong a chance. Now Redders must consider whether to drop Bamba lowering his confidence still further. This is what good managers get paid to do. We need to use squad better than we currently do.

George mate I still can't agree. How can a player be overplayed at seven games?! And as for 100 grand a week, what has cash got to do with fitness levels? Personally I would of been astounded if NR had dropped Bamba and played DelFabro instead.
Jesus he's a CB, not a midfielder who runs about a lot and, even though I can see your point a little, there's no way Bamba should of been rested especaily not for an untried young Italian CB.

See where you coming from Cork. I guess my point about Terry's wage is that he is a superior athlete. Also he is better protected with Chelski's midfield whereas we have what we got. Guess I am little frustrated especially with Cellino. I feel we nust use the squad. It is only way to preserve what we have.

Well Satuday was a lesson to us all.
Watford 2-0 down but kept playing.
Ref was a pile of crap and let too much go.
Felt a bit sorry for Redfearn as he looked like a junior.
We actually played very well but still have difficulty with our finishing.
Watford cut our Defense to pieces time and again in the 2nd half.
Why are we playing Cooper as he hasn't got a clue.
Please can someone who has at least watched him answer me.

I have watched Cooper a number of times and I would say that he is still trying to find his feet in the Championship after playing the last couple of years in Leagues 2 and 1. The Centre backs should be a partnership in that one attacks the ball whilst the other covers. Unfortunately I think that both Bamba and Cooper wish to do the same role and therefore do not compliment each other. Bellusci and Bamba would be my choice for the next game

Sensible comments Notts. I think Cooper has the potential to make the grade as a good Champ defender, but he (and the rest of the defensive players in the squad) would benefit from some really top notch defensive coaching. We need somebody like George Graham to do this. not sure if Redders and Tommo have the required credentials.

Cooper is out of his depth at the moment, poor game and poor decision making on Saturday
Don't know why he is captain, didn't lead or motivate team, Bamba did the motivating at the start of each half, he even game Cooper a pep talk at the start of the second half!
He isn't good enough In my opinion
