Not exactly the landmark signing we were all hoping for, the imminent signing of Lee Erwin eh? Please forgive me if I'm wrong but did we not already have a 6ft plus striker in Matt Smith and did he not have a better goal to game ratio than this fella? Strange choice gents I think, I think the Championship is out of his depth, we need to make signings that are going to make our competitors think wow they mean business this season, at the moment it looks like we are happy with mid table mediocrity. As George says below about Anthony Lockhart rumour, let's go out and get him!! Come on MC let's make people sit up and take notice for the right reasons for a change!!

Leeds Utd vs a team that makes the Champions League(Standard Liege) every year.
Although I would like Knockaert at the club, I don't think MC has it in him to make that signing.

I have faith in Uwe too, just not MC. He will screen every signing and ultimately it will be his decision if someone joins. we could have Ings, Richards and Milner lined up and if they want too much money or the their attitude isn't "compatible" then they will not come.
Just recently read an article on how MC though Uwe's signings at Wigan were wrong with Delort and another. He is already undermining the chap and unless he (MC) changes his attitude to the transfer market here no of consequence will be signed.

Why oh why are we even contemplating a striker with a record of played 36 scored 6? and that against the porous Scottish defences. I am sure if Antenucci (or even Morrison) played for Motherwell, 20 plus every season. Besides do we need a 6'2 head on a stick? I thought the mentality was fast, sharp, forward passing. Shooting on sight not hopefull balls into the box for a knock down. The only thing getting knocked down against Championship defenders is this skinny Scots lad

Looks like Mr Sylvestri is trying to win the fans back after refusing to paly in the last 3 or 4 games personally him & the others who claimed to be injured should never be allowed to pull on the shirt of our great club again. They are a disgrace not only to Leeds United fans but football in general & are everything that is bad about football. too many inflated egos.

Totally agree all players who say they are injured should be sacked. No player should get injured, not in their contracts. Cook and the rest should be ashamed of themselves

The Vest did take a bad knock at the Norwich midweek game and struggled through the remainder of the match, those at the game would have seen this. His kicking was even more garbage than usual, which is saying a lot. I don't know but think his injury seemed genuine.
I do hope so because I don't condone the players who think they can refuse to play and agree they should never play for Leeds again but The Silver Vest could be the best keeper in this league this season. He had a fantastic debut season IMO and I for one would give him another chance. He's a young lad and probably got bullied into it by that nasty Bellusci Fonzarelli character. As for the rest of them, off with their heads I say!

Your right it was sarcasm, not my best though. Just don't see why we are still going on about it. We don't know if injured or not and I am sure Rosler will make his own mind up if they are any use or not. Cani never played anyway and Berlusci and Ant were not going to get a game, Sylvestri I think proved his injury. Was Doukara the other one, not picked since last year. Do not think we missed them, half may be on their way home soon anyway

Great news that Phillips is signing on for two years. Watched him come through academy and he is a massive talent. Fully commited, full of energy and scores goals. He is a big star of the future and think he will be Roslers type of player.
