Ha ha love it, think you missed Alan smith out for £2,000,000

I thought smithy would be free as his contract is expiring in the summer.

the players have given upif a mirracle did happen and they got promoted they no they will be sold for better quality if they dont reach the play offs which is very likely they will be out anyway the best thing is to bring in lots of new blood for next year and get the possitive vibes around the club starting with the fans players must read these forums so the must be right down every body telling them how carp they are they have given up end of

Believable1 Unbelievable0

They know the manager has all but written off this season and has no plans for the majority of them next year, so you can kind of understand why they have given up. not that i agree with it.

Agree1 Disagree1

Few years back the firm I worked for was closing down, I gave 100% until day it closed. Another company, that we dealt with, offered me a job based (my new boss told me) on the fact that I was positive through bad times & kept doing my job to the best I could.

Moral - if you had such a high profile shop window to display your work ethic & skills why not use it?

Based on Saturday our ball boys could see some good offers coming their way :-p

Agree4 Disagree0

Its obvious that 80% of the players are just not capable of finishing up near the top, can't make them do something that their just not good enough to do, players like maxi, Johnson, Kilkenny, howson, beckford, Doyle (some might not agree but i thought a good anchor man)and even a tough CB like naylor have all been replaced with average players, I honestly believe if we kept these players and offered them the correct money at the time we would be atleast in the playoffs by now, but that's my opinion

Can't wait for post season. So that NW starts showing people the door and starts to tell us what's really been happening inside the camp. I suspect it'll be a case of some thinking they are better than the club, some gobsh***s, some diva's and some just not up to the job. Also can't wait for Somma to come back.
One things for certain NW has got a massive job ahead of him & will need funds.
It'll be time to put up or shut up for the not so cuddly one.

Calmed down since Saturday at 5 pm although it's taken 48 hours of fuming. Here's the positive better NW finds out now who can cope with the obvious heavy weight of the White shirt and just who isn't up to it. I thought that every professional footballer would have given their high teeth to play in front of a crowd like ours obviously I was wrong. The positive is that those that stay will be left in no doubt what's is expected of them and they have between now and the end of the season to prove it. So how much do u want it lads?

Everyone just needs to calm down and take a deep breathe, The facts are we have an average team that punched above there weight last season and have been found out this...... But there is a silver lining and it's name is Neil Warnock the guy knows this league better than the back of his hand he knows who we need and who we don't to get out of it he knows what this club is about and he won't accept anything less from the players he keeps and brings in he also will be no push over to the likes of Harvey and Williams and most importantly Bates, and Bates knows the sort of guy he hired in Warnock so surely there will be funds available to him. Let's stay behind the team and management Let's show potential targets how great it would be to play for this once giant of the game.

How nice to hear NW giving honest assessment of the players and not giving a toss about hurting their 'feelings'. The true hurts and we can see the same play on the field. Sad that this brutal truth is only being delivered and displayed by NW. He voices my opinion and I love him for doing what I cant do...Giving them a kick up the arse and reality check until they deliver. 'Well done my man'

I think Darren O'dea is massively underrated. He is our best defender.

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Thank you for your comments mrs odear hopefully warnock has taken your views on board and totally disregard them. on the plus side there is a pub side which has been recently taken over by our ex manager hes always on the look out for players nobody wants. good luck.

Under the circumstancies I feel sorry for Grayson, just look at the facts.. We have had 3 players playing their first full season in Clayton, Lees & White. The so called experience of O'Brien, Vayrnen and Forrsell have all either been injured or not enough so it's been a frustrating year. I bet Neil Warnock cant wait until the season is over so he can have a massive shake up of who is going and bringing in players who are up for the challenge of playing for Leeds United.

As a reward for putting the fans through 9 home defeats this season, and seeing some of the worst football played in a season at ER, KEN BATES puts the LECEISTER game CAT 'A'.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

To be honest I am surprised he has thought of a A* category. So he can charge even more.

Agree1 Disagree0

No game from now til end of season should be CAT 'A' as were not going no where. My uncle fell asleep saturday lol. Which was the highlight of the game for me, All you need after a 3 hour journey to watch your team is the players not turning up.

Agree2 Disagree0

It will become clearly obvious to see when the stands are empty. Nowt to play for and KB having a laugh at our expense. Saving my dosh for next season. Team seems to be doing same by saving their energy and focusing on attendance only. 'Having a laugh'

Agree1 Disagree0

Sums up Bates to a tee. Why not do CAT C and get more people in and create a decent atmosphere for last game of season. sorry that would be doing something to thank the fans, cant be having that can we?

Some Leeds on here are clueless critising Neil warnock the thing u have to understand is they aren't his players he signed he is tryin to do best possible if anyone listened to his post match interview he fully understands what's goin on and how he can sort it taking nothing away from Grayson he never used to come out and say how he could sort it or what was going on with warnock in charge we have to feel comfortable with manager joint highest in taking clubs up he is proven and experienced he is only going to do well it's all about next season now MOT!!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I just love NW brutal assessment and comments. He's telling them what we are seeing from the stands. I'm backing him 100% win or lose cus he wants blood, guts and thunder and I ask no less than seeing a bit of sweat and effort for the price of a ticket. I applaud and support a team showing their hungry and have the desire to win, not simply walking out to simply attend and pass a Saturday afternoon

Clayton 9 or 10 yellows?
The OS says 10 and he misses the Reading game, Vital Leeds says 9 and he will be walking a tightrope in the Reading game. I assume the OS is right? Anyone know for sure?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They both make sense.

Agree0 Disagree1

Warnock saying 3 out for reading game o'dea Connelly and clayton so am guessing from that he is out

Agree1 Disagree0

No choice but to put kids in now. Put Thompson could do RB or MF, Taylor at LB, what abt this Monty Gimpel everyone raves about? Give Rogers a try on the wing - if not start with Webber, upfront Becchio looks like could do with a rest but noone else to bring in his place - apart from Billy P

Neil Warnock has said on the OS that the squad will need 'major surgery'. He has obviously realised something that grayson couldnt, and that is that the squad isnt good enough for playoffs let alone automatic promotion. You could see that on saturday when the only way we played was hoof it to Becchio to flick on or hold up, but it doesnt work. The few times we did get it down it looked more promising going forward, but the defence was poor. Warnock will strengthen the team and i believe we will be real contenders next year! MOT In Warnock I Trust

Believable5 Unbelievable0

What was it, "you can't compete in a league like the Championship with a squad like ours" or something of that ilk? damning verdict.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its taken warnock just a few weeks to work this out where as grayson in his 3 years kept stating the squad of players he was assembling was improving. its nice to have a honest manager who comes out and admits that the squad of players he has at his disposal is substandard. here to better times ahead. {Ed003's Note - had Grayson not improved you year on year? or have I missed something? }

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock's said he's retiring in 2013 so he has nothing to lose - Grayson wanted a long term career at Leeds so was forced to read from the official Bates hymn sheet. Different forces applied. And yes, Ed, he did. Shame he's not getting the credit for doing so well with a poor squad and no investment from some of the blinkered 'we're a massive club still' fans on here.

Just read comments from Neil Warnock on the OS. I must say he is so refreshing. Tells it how it is and has apologised for the performance we saw on Saturday. Thank you NW for apologising, but to be honest the players should.

Another bad result and shocking performance. The whole team looks bereft of ideas (and talent). There is no pace in the team in defence, midfield or attack. Aidy White is quick but he seems to get a nose bleed when he gets near the opponents penalty area.

Pace is the one thing defenders hate and we leave Rogers on the bench cant work that one out. Our play is predictable and seemingly easy to defend against. I like Becchio a lot but hes not the same player this year since his injury and gives in too easily at the moment. we have missed Somma but we need a proven goal scorer who is quick and has a brain.

Neil Warnock will be in no doubt now about the size of his task to improve the squad to make us genuine contenders for promotion next season. I wish him well cos it aint going to be easy. All we can do is keep the faith. MOT

I've seen robbie rogers a lot this season for the reserves and he's terrible not good enough at all

I think that is warknock wants to use the 4-2-3-1 formation (which I thinks suits our players) I think we need more defensive minded players like now. Clayton being out for the next two games this leaves only brown as a holding midfielder. Most other central players are more suited to attacking like Nunez and Robbie Rodgers.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Clayton is not out needs to avoid a booking saturday to avoid a 2 game ban, after reading cards start again

My reply but os says he's out sorry

7-3 doesnt suit our players lol
