If someone at start of season would have said there'll be a team which makes it to the playoffs with a negative goal difference, fails to win a leg in those playoffs or even score a goal but secures promotion to the PL every one of us would have sent for the men in the white coats and given them Ausman address. However, it's precisely what has occurred. Funny old game.

I go away for a couple of weeks and look what happens. New board, no manager, knew something like this would happen when George came back on the site lol. Not surprised Monk went, signs were there after Jan. Blaming players for results, spat with Pontus [you don't drop your best player to prove a point] then no plan b even though the decent teams had sussed us out.

I touted Ranieri back then because he had turned down 2 good management offers and Radz knows him. Whoever we get will be decent as i do have faith in the new management. Team wise we need quite a few changes imo. Sylvestri deserves first team action so would let him go and promote Farrel to bench. Right back we are sorted no problems there. Need two good CBs, Cooper not good enough so release him, the young Irish lad looks promising so 2 should do.

Need another left back even if Taylor stays as Denton needs to bulk up a bit yet. Midfield. Grimes and Dallas can go for me from midfield. Still think we need a box to box player in there but depends on how we use the talent we have. Phillips is a lot better than he showed last season, Viera is class O'Kane and hernandez can be top class on the day in an attacking team.

Wood up front was phenomenal with goal tally but only 4 assists show how we were playing, no support in and around box, which also did not help Sackos game as a lot of time he had to find Wood or go it alone. Wood reminded me a bit of sniffer, if he gets it in penalty area its a goal but he could go past players and was more skillful.

Think if Wood had a partner, ie Roofe, playing just behind him it would help him and Pablo. Thought Pablo was the one to get in box but did not happen much. If we keep Alf fine but if not still need a left winger. Ant should be let go as he is too good to be sat on bench or playing U23s.

Having said all that our new manager may come in with a new style and decide you can all go lol. Still renewed for next season as there is only one Leeds United. MOT.

yes congrats Hudds. Justice was done as I believe they were the longest residents of the playoff places (you statos out there will now prove me wrong? ) Not much in it over 120 minutes but Hope they stay up for our derby games 18/19

Patrick vieira linked to Leeds as manager with odds at 8/1. What would your opinion be on this? Currently managing a very good team in New York City in the US. Not too much experience in management or of the league but a huge personality and seems to be successful in a play off based league over in America, worth a shot or would you rather see a high profile like spaletti from inter?

We need someone with clear contacts to premier league or higher standard of sources. A good pre-season and team development like Huddersfield have had this year. With some money thrown on the right heads, we'll be up there fighting. who do you make that man though?

Patrick Vieria, would be a great sign of intent, as it would be his first job in management in England. He would not want to fail, so would only join us if he had been guaranteed funds to bring in players. Think about it, if he was the coach, how much would we be looking forward to next season, as opposed to the start of Cellino's reign with Hockaday!
