Cellino has come in for a lot of flack recently but believe it or not, it could be much worse. We could have Karl Oyston as chairman. Calling a fan a retard, suing a fan for comments on social media, now it appears the statue of one of their hero's Stan Mortensen has been removed on the eve of the anniversary when he scored a hat trick in the FA cup final. Fans were due to mark the occasion with memorabilia and messages but the statue has just disappeared? Strange goings on and I'm not going to say anything about Mr Oyston (don't want him suing me) but I'm glad we have Mr Cellino!

MM

Look at Karl Oyston's wpedia page, it's laughable! Makes the goings on at ER look tame in comparison

{Ed003's Note - Thanks for bringing up my beloved Tangerine's Mick - The locals are fuming with the latest alleged actions of the club - They have also allegedly applied for a civil trespassing injunction for any protesters laying any symbolic memorabilia around the area where 'Morty' has gone missing.
Plenty of fans from around the country are travelling to the said protest on Saturday under the banner of 'Fans United' which is nice to know in our hour of need.
Anyway enough of me waffling. #OystonOut #Wewillnotbesilenced .}

Sorry for your plight Ed. I certainly wouldn't want to be lining the pockets of the Oyston's as they don't seem to give a stuff about the fans.

Good to hear fans from other clubs are joining in the protest. You have my full support (for what it's worth).

{Ed003's Note - cheers Mick I'm in the not a penny more brigade won't go to home games until they're gone.}

Why would anybody not want to recognise and respect a player like Stan mortising.

I am sure nobody who can do anything will do anything but let us spare a thought for David Haigh who is not a murderer, a rapist or a terrorist yet is locked up in a hell hole with no trial in sight. For a crime of fraud/theft commited in England working at an English club he should have some protection from the English Government but Mr Cameron would rather see UK - UAE relations unblemished than demand a basic tenet of Magna Carta.
I am not saying the Haigh should be pardonned but he must be given his day in court and until then be allowed some basic (UK) human rights. If they are scared of him fleeing the country then why not tag him and allow him to wait, under house arrest, at the British Embassy under their guarantee with regular visits to a local cop shop.

anyone ever owned a mangey cat and never really liked it, yet when the cat is no longer there you miss it? Bit how I feel about Millwall now they are gone from Championship. I am going to miss the tin pot club, going to miss calling everyone in yokrshire accent when we beat themat our gaff, going to miss abusing fans when they lose and going to miss the fact they take up one relgation place that could be filled by us

Really? Just think how cool it will be saying to your mates. How did millwall do at the weekend? I didn't see the lower league results. You can do that over 40 times! Awesome!
I reckon we should have given them morri as a going away present!

I know MC is not going to consider many home grown players, however with Wigan, Blackpool and Milwall which would you consider poaching.

My thoughts would be Carson (never thought he was given a proper chance), McLean (wing option) and O'Hara (not bad, albeit expensive).

Only player I'd go for is James McLean ,he's young,pacey,skillful and gives 100% ,all the rest are poo

millwall haan english african football with a very hard to pronoce name so they call him freddy (think that is his first name) plays in midfield so not a proirty but is a very good player. Briggs was also very good when I saw him play just never given a chance he is left back from fulham (and youngest ever prem player for a useless fac). They also have a winger/inside forward called n'doui or n'guye. use to play for everton. not sure about attitude but is real quality and very different to anything we have a leeds and is a good option if we had him. I would go from all three

Steve Evans interviewed last night (obviously a bit giddy still):

"A Millwall player (Lee Gregory) said we've not got bottle. I've got 12 bottles of pink Champagne and we'll be drinking them all night. Look forward to League One, son, and keep your trap shut."

haha love it, well said Evans.

I heard it on the radio this morning.
Fantastic interview, I am now a big fan of the big fella. I wanted them to go down as well as Millwall, but after that I am glad they have stayed up!
Well done Big Man

Hey
Bye millwall. Struggle on
Yes Good luck to you purple 17s at weekend
Reading through all the posts below, there are so many good points and logical conclusions. It baffles me why the men ( loosely used term, because men know how to admit they are wrong ) that matter don't see it!
Mc has a lot of admirable characteristics but adapting to your current environment and admiting failures aren't amongst them!
If he doesn't change we will go through this season again and again until he sells.
If and I mean if, he is only considering cheap unheard of foreigners and a no control coach. We are up the street without a paddle. The stubborn hit needs to change his ways or close the door on the way out!

I think Cellino sees 17 and purple together as a double negative and therefore a positive. So, just a purple shell suit for me (very chic)!

MM, that case let's balance it out with a third negative. How about telling the truth? Buy back the ground the following day after purchase. Yeah, right. Or how about a purple yacht on a purply tshirt with 17 on it. That oughta do it. If I were Morison, I'd wear such a tshirt under his leeds uniform so when he scores again on Saturday he can insult MC further. Wonder what the odds are for another goal from him?
