To people having a moan and bitch a Larry please remember it is our first season back in the Championship and our aim was consolidation. Yes we over achieved massively. What Leeds need to do is clear out the deadwood (get some cash if we can for them) and buy some very good players up for the job. I'm thinking of a whole new back line and a few holding midfield players. Let's see what the future holds for Leeds.

Bates caring about the club ha ha ha, if he cared he would find a new buyer and leave like he did at Chelsea .

If Larry did get the push, who, apart from Gus would be the best manager to take the team forward and push for promotion next season? discuss.

I am fed up with fellow Leeds United fans(LIKE GUY AT 19.25 ON 28.4.11) who seem to love taking the so called moral ground about this year being a consolidating season - being polite I can only say - NONSENSE! !
I care not about Norwich or any other team than Leeds United and would just like to take my chances in the Premiership next season AND who does he think brought in the deadwood players in the first place???However, even if by a miracle we do make the play offs - we have no chance due to the inept side to Mr Grayson - he cannot/ willnot solve a defence that cannot cope with the best of the Championship. Mr Grayson has his plus points but his negitives far outweigh them and will never make a decent premiership manager and must be removed - Poyet is top of my wish list. As for trying to work out who the right players are for next season it is far too early to work that one out!

Left backs I think would be good loan signings for next season

Keiran Gibbs (Arsenal)
Matt Phillips (Blackpool)
Jlloyd Samuel (Bolton)
Samuel Ricketts (Bolton)
Patrick van Aanholt (Chelsea)
Dedryc Boyata (Left Back/ Centre Back - Manchester City)
James Perch (Newcastle United)
Danny Collins (Stoke City)
Kyle Naughton (Tottenham Hotspur)
Sebastion Bassong (Centre Back - Tottenham Hotspur) {Ed001's Note - Phillips is a right winger, I don't think he would be a good signing for left back!}

Why is every one so stuck on gus poyet being our new manager, he was here once and buggered off when his buddy left for a pay day at Newcastle, if he really deserved the job why was he not offered it when wise left, stick with grayson it does not help any club to constantly change managers to try to gain instant success, given the money and the backing of the board Grayson will get us to the premiership. After what was really a successful season even with the poor loan players the club have brought time to build up the squad ready for a real chalange next season.

Simon Grayson says in tonight local paper that he "Has Delivered", granted we will not get relegated but surely the whole point is to get promoted into the Premier League, on this he certainly hasn't delivered. Instead of buying/ loaning quality players especially in defence, he brought in players who are not up to the job, conceding 70+ goals and not doing anything about it is a disgrace, 12 points from a possible 30 is very very poor and losing to teams in the bottom half of the division should simply not have happen. When the new season begins i for one would like to see Larry depart and Mr Poyet take over and move the club forward, however, with Brighton now in the Championship and with a new ground it seems very unlikely - we can all dream.

Hi Ed, regardless wether we go up or not, do you think we could get Kieran Gibbs on loan from Arsenal? {Ed001's Note - no I don't, he has suffered injury problems this season, but he was playing on a regular basis for the first team whenever fit. I doubt they will let him go out on loan, maybe a move for Traore would be a better option? He is available and could make the move permanent if it was a success.}

Think we had our best chance this year in a very poor league, dont think enough of our good players will stay, as for cash investment whos going to do that?bates?dont make me laugh, can see a very long and painfull year ahead hope we don't start how were finishing or div 1 is looming, but my bets on grayson out before christmas!
