Is Milanics contract to be head coach or is it that he is an employee of Leeds United, if the latter why doesn't Cellino put him in charge of the Academy rather than pay him for doing naff all.

So our youth don't become too defensive. He all wrong for Leeds. At least we now have Clough's record beat. That ghost laid to rest. Come on Redders!

Agree George. Didn't dislike Darko. Seems like a nice guy. Maybe a good coach. Would have given him a bit longer probably. But in the end, and what was worrying all along, were the negative tactics that were his undoing I think. I know the old adage if you don't concede goals you can't lose - but I prefer the one that says to win a game you just need to score 1 goal more than the opposition

Hi guys, got a weird question here (not that weird mad mick) if you was to see 2 teams wih leeds as the obvious other, who would you like to see in the top flight and how come? Mine would be Derby and Ipswich as my first season really enjoying football saw both them teams in the prem I kind of have this idea of teams stuck in my head that should be there no real reason just nostalgia probably and besides they both have farm animals as badges which always looked cool in my sticker album!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Blackpool for the away game and millwall for obvious local reasons easy game to get through and enjoy giving and getting stick depending on results

Nottingham Forest as twice Champs of Europe in the past and Sheffield Weds for me - Hillsborough was always an FA Cup semi final ground as they were ever present

Notts Forest and Derby two teams who deserve to go up the football they play is good to watch and not too far to travel to.

Agree0 Disagree0

Forest for me and prob Wolves. Not cause I like em but because I think there history deserves it, like us. Three big clubs, Derby not far behind.
And I like to see Luton coming back up the leagues
And finally Fulham back to the conference where they belong (nothing to do with badgekisser) :)

Bit of reminiscing. Anyone else remember the first game back in the old First Division when we beat Everton?

Myself and two mates went without tickets, all bought from touts in various parts of the ground. I was in their equivalent East stand and thought it would be best to keep a low profile. That all went out of the window after the 1st goal and by the time the 3rd goal went in my cover way well and truly blown as I was leaping around on my own like a mentalist. I thought my disguise of permed mullet and acrylic shell suit would have made me blend in with the locals but they were having none of it! Got threatened by a group of Scallys after the game but kept walking and nothing came of it. Great day out, I can still hear the chants of "United are back" and see scruffy Nev Southall sat leaned up his post in front of our fans singing "there's only one scruffy b*****d" during half time. Great memories.

Was that the game where Lufc fns ere herded into the me ends the home fns with a thin line of stewards seperating us?
I remember they (everton) started a scuffle at the front ,all the steward rushed down to stop the scuffle leaving nothing but a blank space between us & the Everton fans, well they rushed us but we had nowhere to go as there was a wall at the back of us , only one course of action was left as you can imagine there was about 10 mins of mayhem untill the stewards realised & reformed the yellow line lol . aye the joys of away football eh!

It's one game I'll never forget, back in the first division after eight long years, nice touch from the Everton with the sign on the pitch, congratulating us on promotion and welcoming us to Goodison, then us getting a top result and the Nev thing at half time was funny as f#@k!

I remember when we played swindon away some thirty years ago. A swindon supporter thought he could impress his mates (apes) by climbing the high fence and leaping into the pen where we were standing. I thought a small group of hard nut leeds fans were going to rip his limbs off but instead they climbed the fence themselves in order that they could throw him back - much to the amusement of all the Leeds fans and a significant number of sensible Swindon fans!

How refreshing that Redders is just getting on with the job and has Saturdays game as his focus rather than his own contract. What's not to love about him? Just hope results go his way and we start the long haul up the table

So from a possible 15 points in November, with NR at the helm, how many points do we think we can get? I reckon 11 is a safe bet😄

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I reckon 10. 3 wins. Draw cardiff. Lose derby

15. Top by Christmas day. This post is sponsored by Carlsberg

PP, so you reckon no defeats out of next 5 matches. I hope you are right!

Agree0 Disagree0

9. The best we can hope for is 9 but I think 8. Lose againt cardiff and Derby(might just draw this one on a very good day). Draw against Blackburn and wins against Charlton and Blackpool

Nice one PPeacock :)

More to the point! how many points does Redders need from the 15 to avoid the chop? Anything less than 5 and I think he could be gone? Good luck Redders!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Must beat Charlton and Blackpool. We need to win 4 of our next 6 games imo as we've dropped too many points lately.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's too hard to call whoevers in charge as this league most teams can beat each other.
We beat Bournemouth away and think they've won last 4 or 5 games, they won away at Birmingham 8-0 make 10 changes tonight and play practically there second team and beat west brom. In the cup.
Great result and a strange league, just shows you 3 or 4 wins and your confidence goes through the roof.
