i do find international breaks a little dull but on the up side they are easy to call so made a killing at the bookies and times my outlay by five over the international break (shame I don't bet bigger stakes) but the down side wood got injured just a knock so not out for long but looks unlikely for reading game, so if the big man can't make it what are we going for as our lineup? I'd go.

i agree I would be pretty sure that would be the outcome, i got a mate who is a reading fan he is over the moon and said he hoped we play douk, bit worrying when other fans are hoping he plays dosn't say too much for poor old douk, that said he puts in a shift and with others pace and goal threat i'm still confident of the win

I know Wood and Roofe are totally different types of player but if Wood is out then why not replace him with Roofe. After all he scored 26 goals in 49 appearances in his last season for Oxford, so isn't that why we signed him? (To score goals) ?

roofe would be my choice or maybe even taylor up front i love taylor and would be tempted to play him left back and centre forward as he could do both like bugs bunny and be everywhere at once i'd also like to see barrow given some time up front, out of interest anyone think antenrson should get a chance or any time from the bench?

Took in U23s last night. Farrel back to his best played well, Pearce at left back has come on loads, MOM for me got forward well and got back quick. Lad called Gotts on right, first time have seen him but looked decent. O, Connor looked nervous, gave away pen but they missed it, but overall him and Vann looked pretty solid. Midfield a bit hit and miss, Nicel and Whitehouse put the effort in but not much penetration. Most of our efforts on goal were long range, Stokes having the most. Played ok but lost, took a pen to beat Farrel. Missing Wilks movement up front.

Watched the game too, agree about all of the back 4, two full back look strong, hoping that the centre halfs come good, with the way things change we may have to depend on one of them in the senior team. Midfield and attack looked like there was little between them, Whitehorse could come on and develop though in that team.
