Lads/lasses,

Does anyone else agree that Gus will get the best out of Paynter? Its sods law that when players leave us they become better as there isnt as much pressure. Lets hope its a tactical move by SG and he scores a lot of own goals! I dont think Brighton are our rivals and yes I know we are close in the table but its early days. How about this one then, Poyet to Leicester? NR

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Nope hes still gonna be a bag of w***

Agree1 Disagree1

Gus won't get best out of him because Brighton are not in League 1 anymore! However, he will do better there. He did not fit in at Leeds. He'll more than likely be sold in January.

Agree1 Disagree1

If he's good Simon will have him straight back in our squad.

Agree1 Disagree0

We should not be helping Brighton in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER they are our rivals??

What the f**k is going on?

Brighton are just three points below us, and we are doing them a favour??

Grayson, get a grip or I will be walking away after 40plus years, never in Leeds history have we ever loaned a player to a team who could prevent us getting promoted??

Agree1 Disagree3

Brighton will NOT get promoted

does this not make sence one player out (billy paynter), and one player in (alan smith) i think this rumor is more likley to happen this time than before

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Leeds cant afford his wages.....lot of outlay for an injury prone player, who hasnt had a lot of football. He isnt a real striker or midfielder, leave well alone.

Barn door gone to Brighton

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Thought grayson said last week that paynter would not join a rival in the championship?

Agree7 Disagree0

Little dig there by Simon, Brighton aren't rivals for where we want to be.

Agree0 Disagree0

2 points behind us equals rivals

Agree0 Disagree1

Must be a statement of intent for us to be challenging for auto promotion then

Agree1 Disagree1

Would be sods law that Paynter starts looking like Miroslav Klose now, the 'Bionic man' and slamming in headers and hatricks allover the shop now. Hope not!!

Agree1 Disagree1

Brighton have had there honeymoon period they will soon slide down the table especially with barn door up front!

Agree2 Disagree0

Sending paynter would stop them being considered as rivals, all we need now is to send OB to southamption ;)

Agree1 Disagree0

Would be typical to see best from paynter now, and with him on form and makail-smith is quite a top strike force really all we need is becchio back and firing on all cylinders alongside mccormack and we are away up front, mot

Paynter gone on loan to Brighton until January, clears the wage bill for someone (defender) to come in.

is becchio still injured ? he does not look the same player as last season

Believable2 Unbelievable1

He probably hasn't gotten back into his stride yet so he needs more time, how much time? No one can really say. Unfortunately I have a feeling this will be the same situation with Somma, all we can do is wait.

Agree1 Disagree1

Very happy with our league postion, next window, lets get a 2-3 quality players in
push for promotion,we have only spent 200k
should be plenty of cash in the kitty

Agree2 Disagree1

I seem to be very happy at this stage of the season berfore and crying out for defenders on loan or buy in January window only for Big bad uncle Ken to pull the rug on a promising season - Yes I'm talking about last season when we finished in a disappointing seventh when all it needed was a little bit of splashed cash to get us over the finsishing line?

Agree3 Disagree1

Does Masterbates want to get us promoted this season ? or will we still get a big fine ?

Agree2 Disagree1

Spending lots of money doesn't always work. Look at Leicester, this site was full of comments about how they would walk the Championship - where are they again? And where's their manager?

Agree0 Disagree0

Spending no money doesnt get you promoted ither

Not only is our defence looking stronger, our discipline has improved noticeably over the last few games. Without looking, I think we have had no bookings in the last 3 or 4 fixtures. This, along with the greatly improved defence has aided our recent form and given us the chance of winning games. The 'Boro game at home is a prime example of a game we could and should have won... what's happened to DIRTY LEEDS?!!

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Odea booked at peterborough 1 game ago doh!

Well, I thought last nights game was going to be difficult, though we played well as far as I understand. However, we have now played Southampton, West Ham, Ipswich, Brighton, Peterborough and Birmingham AWAY from home. That is a lot of difficult away games out of the way, especially when you look at the table. I do think we would benefit from extra quality in a couple of positions come Jan, but we should be able to push for the play-offs this season.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

You're right. We've played some tough games away from home. I don't want to sound negative but we've only won 1 of those listed. We need to take more points off rivals

Agree1 Disagree1

Yeah, your'e right. In order to ensure playoffs it would have helped to take points off direct rivals. We are a good fluent attacking team. We are still too easy to beat in my opinion. I was suggesting though, that at least we have got those away games against those clubs out of the way, which can only be a good thing.

Agree0 Disagree1

We've taken 5 points from these 6 games. A general rule of thumb is win at home, draw away, you'll be there or thereabouts. 5 points is OK from 6 decent teams away. Would have been 8 without the sh*t ref at Ipswich. Could be better but good enough when you consider what Simon's been allowed to spend.

Leeds Please look at these available players ; Gj
highly-rated Northern Ireland starlet Shane Ferguson and talented Slovenian Haris Vuckic both from Newcastle...

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Do you actually think that the Leeds United scouts look on these pages to get players we think they should get? ffs I might as well say "Leeds get messi, ronaldo, robben, sneijder, puyol and casillas"

Agree2 Disagree0

It would be good it you could persuade the Leeds board to go after those listed above. Surely Playoffs then......

Know it's just a game but on Football Manager 2012, Keogh is available to buy for £500,000, any accuracy in this being real?

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Sonic is a blue hedgehog and can run and jump through hoops. I take about as much notice of this.

Agree3 Disagree0

Sven is the manager of Leicester on football manager, any truth in this?

Agree3 Disagree0

Mario has a brother called Luigi...

Agree2 Disagree0

I won 20+ CHAMPIONS LEAGUES on that game. Any truth in this? I hope so.

Agree2 Disagree0

'undisclosed' isn't allowed on that game.

Agree2 Disagree1

I used to crash 747s on 'Microsoft Flight Sim' and slept with all the women from Friends on 'Random Game I Just Made Up'. Ed - can we have a policy of not allowing these pointless posts from people living in the virtual world? Aaaaaagh. {Ed003's Note - I'll have a word with my co-pilot and see what he thinks once he's finished his business with Jessica Rabbit }

Agree2 Disagree0

Ed is he playing Paticake?! {Ed001's Note - he said something about tapping that, I guess that would mean paticake....}
