I'm kinda sad hunt has left, thought he had something still to offer and wasn't all that bad!he was a great help to the youth.reckon he will go to Ipswich and do ok!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hunt is a decent championship player, I struggle to accept he became a crap player overnight. He will do very well at Ipswich because they`ll support and manage him better.
Redders rated him, he said so, so why let him leave, and why not play him.
Tonge would have been out the door before hunt for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Like the guy hardworking etc was always the poorer hunt brother and as a player I think he had nothing left to offer and was never better than very bad in leeds shirt. if his wages have gone with him then great IMO. maybe have him back as coach but not sure what tractors boys want him for?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ben, we signed him as a striker to lift us into the play-offs, not babysit the bairns. He's failed miserably. Don't forget he was on £30k a week…that's almost £1.5 million a year. He's been an abysmal return on our investment, and we're well rid off him. Same applies to Wootton, Ajose and a few more I could mention. Sorry, but we can't afford to be sentimental - it may not have escaped your notice that we're sinking towards the relegation places.

Marktenjag - I am well aware of the predicament we find ourselves! I thank you not to treat me like an person! You may find if you like back through my posts I raised that issue last week!
My opinion is that hunt still could offer something to our team, this is my opinion. Clearly you are is disagreement and I respect your opinion, I just wish you would respect other people's!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, Can I just ask why you changed one of the words from my post?

Cheers

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I didn't, the swear filter did. We have a number of words that aren't particularly offensive that change to make sure that you can't be sure if the original word was really offensive or not. It helps to keep arguments from starting.}

Ben - obviously touched an overreactive nerve. For your info, I do respect your opinion…I just don't agree with it. Hunt may have run about a lot - but achieved nothing. Good riddance I say.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed 001 I love this site but do have a slight complaint how comes your swear filter does not pick up any of these offensive words.chubby, middle-aged, ken bates, writ, administration, millwall, spurs fans in europe and Hockaday. I find all of them words offensive and want them removed ASAP

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - if we blocked chubby and middle aged it might get confused to think it referred to everyone who is chubby and middle aged, which would mean there would be no one left, including editors!}

Ok fair enough on that but come on ken bates and hockaday no excuse for that and maybe millwall as well, they may have a fan page on here but how many members 10 at a push them words should be blocked

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Hockaday is more of a joke than a swear word surely? As for Bates, I do agree, horrible man, a proper criminal of the worst kind. His time at Leeds actually suggested he started mellowing in his old age mate!}

Yes sadly very true

Can't wait to see this year out, we've only won 11 league games all year, traditionally we are are the gift givers over the festive period as in dishing out the points, I've attended most games but I can't remember a more transitional year as 4 different managers would test any club, although I do feel we are heading in the right direction as performances are improving, we just lack a bit of concentration and luck.

Forest are only giving us 2000 tickets thought we would get more than that. Sat before Crimbo, 5.15 kick off and on tv so looks like they will get a small crowd.

So all we do is give them 500 when they come to us?

Works both ways?

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a funny one really, Blackburn raised their prices by 30% and gave us a huge allocation, so they earned a decent amount of cash, however if gave the visitors a good level of support. Trick is how to balance it

I was managing a hotel in Southwell when straight after beating those reds from Salford at E.R. he came into the lounge with I assume his future wife and I think her parents - very nervous - I think he was asking for her hand!

He was extreemly polite - and gentlemanly

Agree0 Disagree0

Loved to watch him play
