Hi guys first post in years what do we all think about Lee Erwin coming back some good goals last season and has filled out a bit maybe try him with antonsson also think Dave should be given another go and get rid of Murphy and bridcutt.

Erwin Dave and Murphy not good enough never will be. Birdcage played too deep last season and was visibly jaded toward end. We will see a better player this season imo.

Agreed re birdcage GIW. Think he was played wrongly last season and my only hope is that TC did his research on him the season before when he was on loan. I believe he's a much better player than we saw in snakes team

Agree Murphy should go. Erwin not really given a chance yet so would give him till Jan with squad. can't defend Bridcutts performance last season. When Phillips and O Kane played we went on a winning streak. Then he came in and performances dropped even though we changed other midfielders made no difference he still could not find a forward pass. don't think he will have been told to pass back and sideways. He is capable of better though but him and Dallas were disappointing for me last season. Think Daves a decent player but will doubt if he will be with us long.

If Taylor goes to Burnley, then he will have gone below my despicability scale's lowest point. what a waste of career. Hardy? What happened to the Liverpool move?

It is a strange choice but a stepping stone to bigger things. At end of day i/we expect burnley to be back down fairly soon but i thought that about swansea and bournemouth. Not good for us to think of him going to burnley rather than stay with us but they are there. We are not. Time will tell if he has done the right thing. We could swap next year then it will be proven to be a stupid move. But at the moment. He is going to further his exucation in the prem.

Fact is Burnley are in premier and we aint. If he plays well against premier strikers would not expect him to be at Burnley long. Way it is big teams can not afford to take too many gambles on players so get proven performers in and let lower clubs take the gamble then buy them once they have proved themselves. If Taylor is as good as he thinks he is will end up with a top club. He has the potential but has he got the attitude needed

I take what Hardy writes with a pinch of salt as sure so far since the end of the season he's us Taylor was off to Liverpool, Karanka was next boss and would be announced within hours, Jansson was off to Southampton, Wood was off to Huddersfield and Abel Hernandez was having a stroll round Elland Rd! As for Taylor, in my opinion he is good enough to play in the PL and can't blame him for moving on. People may look down their nose at Burnley but they've been better than us for a long time and are in the top flight so it's a step up for him. Although Taylor peed me off with his behaviour for the last game of the season, I wish him well, he's been a good player for us.
