It's very quiet on here. Have people given up on this season? Was looking on Liverpool site with a scouse mate and there's lots more traffic. As someone said earlier we win Saturday and other two lose its in our hands once more. Keep the faith brothers and sisters. Ok I'm trollied now after a three day wedding so maybe a little optimistic! I hope I'm wrong but I'm not feeling a win on Saturday even though Pontus has guaranteed it

I think it's just down to our current form Cork. I can't see us winning both games which is probably what we'll need to do. Also with only two games left we can still finish fourth, but even if we win on Saturday we will still be seventh. It's weird, we are so close but the playoffs feel miles away now!

Think everyone is holding their breath and waiting to see what happens Saturday Corky.

We have to win. i'm still optimistic we can take sheff. We just have to go out all guns blazing. If we play to our best we will win.

Its just down to form and momentum; the others have it and we don't. There are so many scenarios my head is stating to hurt but the most heartbreaking is that we could miss out just on goal difference. It's that close.

Corkie old son, scousers have much more time on their hands due to the fact most of them don't work and only go out of the house late at night to steal hub caps and once a fortnight to sign on the disability. Their site will be busy now saying next season we're going to win the league, only for it all to go quiet again by Christmas.

As for us, we've had a great season considering, many of us wouldn't believe we would be in contention for a play off spot right until the end of the season. Next year we will be stronger and we will win the league! Oh my God, I've started now! Eh, eh, calm down soft lad. No seriously, we'll have a lorra lorra laughs arrr kid! Down those pints and up the whites! MM

I'm going for us to get something out of it tomorrow, I think a 2-2 draw

I must admit Saturday I was devastated I drank all weekend and was very low. I think playoffs will not happen and hold out no hope. but as of monday I was over my disappointment and back to thinking how we are going the right way and what a good season we have had. even if the summer if we lose everyone and don't invest and next year we go down (dont think it will happen but if it does) so what I'd rather lose with leeds than win with someone else. and things have been manic at work have to use that as an excuse as well

I'm Leeds through and through! That goes without saying, but Saturday I will also become a supporter of Ipswich, Brentford and Wigan lol MOT brothers

Here's hoping for Ipswich and Brentford wins DJ, followed by the Wendies and Fulham drawing last game of the season and I think we're in the play-offs aren't we. Oh yeah, providing we win our last two games! MM

Question lads. Who's been the biggest surprise player this season? And also who's been your biggest disappointment? For me Chris Wood for the first answer and Roofe for the second. Ayling and Green a close second for biggest surprise but for me personally I can't think of another player who disappointed. Ok just thought of one. Bridcutt! Big let down .

Bridcutt all day long. i'd rather sell him to be honest. don't think he can change his negative ways.

Grimes? another midfielder with prem experience? 😱
Even cooper, has appeared to learn nothing from Barts or Pontus. i'd go with wood, ayling or green too. Beradi has done a good
Job filling in (on the left bermo! )

28 Apr 2017 11:42:06
Yeah curahee. That berahdi. Wow. Is there anywhere he can't play. got to be a bit weird not to admire his versatility. Wood has been awesome. Green once he got going has proved a match winner. Ayling has been consistently impressive.

28 Apr 2017 11:47:55
I think Berardi just shades it. Imagine being asked to play off your wrong foot every week and every week gaining high praise (from most people! ) and not racking up a ton of fouls in the process. Without him we would have had a major problem. The disappointments must be Grimes, Barrow and lately Hernandez. As a major name with talent to spare he has gone missing too often recently.

i'm thinking still about 25% chance of playoffs but with fulham the likely winners. By my calculations we win both and wed draw and lose and we up. Not sure we can beat norwich or wigan if we can't beat wolves or burton.

Anyway. This saturday will be the decisive day. Results go our way and we in, i reckon. Hoping for 15 point deduction for newcastle. Also. Whoever suggested replacing monk with grayson needs to go on stage. Lol.

No comparison on ability. Grayson not worthy. Messed it up first time. Big 2 weeks for the boys. let's start off with a win lads. Keep the pressure on. going to be a lot of changes to squad whether we go up or not.

But we should get a fair bit for pontus. Taylor and wood. So alls good. God. i'm glad to be back. Could go on for hours.

not sure. i wouldn't replace monk with grayson and would keep monk if possible but wouldn't say grayson not worthy he build a prem team in league 1 that's why we did well in the cups and a lot of that team has played in prem. he then built a great champ team that would of gone up if not for ken bates. bates raided leeds and gave grasyon no money in return. i hope monk becomes our 3rd best manager ever but at the moment for me that titled belongs to grayson on another note what happened 25 years ago today? something to do with our greatest ever manager the overachieving stg wilko

Grayson bottled it BW. I wouldn't put him in top 10 leeds managers. Warnock better than him and i hate warnock with a passion. Worst human being ever but better manager. You all know i call him nose bleed larry. Scared of heights.

Aus I normally agree or can see where you are coming from but not sure I can with this one mate, Grayson got us up when others failed and then improved us in the perfect way. he knew we needed a keeper (brought in schmeilce) and some flair (brought in Sam and Gradel).

He built a team that was destin for the prem but bates sold gradel, Howson, Delph, Snograss, Schmeicle, Johnson, Beckford plus others and gave hime no money to improve so Larry could not take team forward. I believe in Larry and think he did an amazing job under the circumstance if MC come in the year we went up Larry and Mc would of took us back. into prem I have no doubt of that.

For me Wilko number one as he overachieved and performed two miricels and made leeds over achieve more than anyone else, he also built the squad that o'leary basked on then ruined (Martyn, Bowyer, Radebe) 2nd the don great team and did so much but underperformed and did not win anywhere near what they should of.

Also many of his greats come through at leeds so had the blessings not many others (other than o'leary) had 3rd Larry, got us up and built a great team despite ken bates holding him back and selling all of his men. built a prem team only for bates to dismantle it i would be keen to see who you put above Larry and why. for this purpose i don't think you can include outside achievements otherwise el tel and jock stien would be up there for me

Lol. Speedie. Re larry ( oh my god i can't get promoted to prem because i can't manage, i know what i will do. Get within a whisker of playoffs and completely lose it! ) grayson. Say no more. Wood is a donkey. He just scores a lot.

I'm a huge Monk fan, and also believe with Pep and Beets we have the best management team we have had for many years. I like Monks steely determination his obvious desire for success.

That being said I'm surprised that the main consensus on the site is around if Monkey elects to accept any offer to stay. I posted a while back that I believe Rad was playing a canny game here. For very little initial investment he had the opportunity of the Premier promised land.

Lots of angst on her around the January window, but I feel Rad was thinking, I don't know what I've bought as yet but I know the potential is enormous and I may have already bought a golden ticket. If you found an unused betting slip however high the odds you'd hang onto it just to see if you fell lucky.

We all know Rad has option to buy club outright in June, when everything will then be his way or the highway. The guy has been brought up on the Italian club design with a director of football and a coach.

The announcement was significant for me, I don't believe for a second Monkey was in the loop on the appointment. Radrizzani made his most significant move yet when it was announced by Leeds on Tuesday that his long-time ally Ivan Bravo, the former Real Madrid strategist, had been added to the club’s board of directors. Strategists don't look at next year.

they look with a minimum 3-5 years ahead and my gut tells me they may be looking elsewhere? Like has no place in big business and whether we agree all not it's a business first and foremost these days. I think it's been a great year with many achievements both on and as importantly if the field GFH!

But don't think for a minute that the end of season review will not take into account that all the teams currently above us have foreign coaches, Chris Hughton is Irish 😊 Now Wagner is a you know what, Stam is a you know what. Carvallho hasn't upset too much yet, but my point is liking them or not is immaterial it's about results and success in this business. Now back to where I started I would 'like' Monkey and his team to lead us next year. but I really don't think he will. oh god where's Jeff when you need him he would know for certain 👍.

great post I think it is 50/50 monks stays or leaves and while he has done a great job and like him to stays others have done better job and I do not think he is irreplaceable if he stays great if he leaves we have people on boatd to bring in just as good if not better. I agree our best signing in a long while could be the baddie from the rocky film his contacts status and ambitions i think says a lot about where this club wants to be and what direction we are going in. it might take a little while but the sleeping giant is definatly waking

Agree BW. We are seeing structure. Deliberate strategic structure that will see us return. Maybe not next year but when it happens we will be equiped for a long stay. Mc started it and the new boys will finish it.

Absolutely right, wendies away at Ipswich and Fulham at home to Brentford. Also worth keeping an eye on Reading although I can't see them losing both of their games (home to Wigan and away to Burton) but . stranger things have happened :)

There are so many permutations still possible but most of them would require a total collapse in form for both Fulham and Sheff Wed plus a large and immediate upturn in form for us but, yes we could still get 6th. However by the same reckoning I may win this weeks lottery.
